I order everything that looks good on the menu Tonkotsu Ramen, Spicy Kimchi Tonkotsu Ramen, Omurice Curry with katsu, Takoyaki, Chicken The Omurice Curry stole the show for me and the spicy kimchi ramen was SO good. Every dish was packed with flavor and the portions were generous too. 9/10 -- definitely coming again but hard to parking during the peak hour

Stopped by Kyuramen x TBaar after a work event and was blown away by their honeycomb seating arrangement. I've never seen one of these before and really wanted to sit in one of them but it was full. I ordered one of their Strawberry Banana smoothies which was super sweet and okay. They had a steak ramen that they were either serving for a limited time or it was a new menu item. I thought it was unique for a ramen option and actually enjoyed it. The steak was a bit chewy but honestly not bad at all. We also got their popcorn chicken which was a classic of course. Honestly just a solid spot to if you are in the area!

Service: half-a**Ed This establishment hired half a dozen servers to cover maybe 7 patronized tables....and not a single server came to take my order when the restaurant was practically half empty....not even busy at all on a Sunday night...wow ....so...seated and everyone disappears, until the head manager / owner comes and takes my order. After being seated for more than 15 minutes. No follow up, with how's the food, no feedback loop, c'mon a packed front of the house. Y'all can do a bit better than that. The Honeycomb Sampler Plate: Came after my Ramen, and Takoyaki were finished. Aside from the lobster balls..... everything else on that platter was terrible. Who pairs steamed abalone with Sysco Foods Restaurant Seaweed....c'mon....at least have some kind of garlic wasabi lemon sauce or something to dip the abalone in...who came up with the menu? The Steamed Unagi on Tamago?!???! Are you serious??????! What kind of pairing is that...both are sweet, both are cold, Unagi is supposed to be paired with something hot like hot sushi rice to bring out the fatty elements of that eel....Tamago?!?!! The edamame was mediocre, you probably get better edamame at the other franchise Ramen place--- Jinya and Koppan Ramen, heck Slurpin Ramen in City of Industry does better Edamame. Ya. The sample platter is a joke, it should be taken off. As for the Shoyu Steak Ramen bowl, I could only give it 3.5/5. Stick with the Spicy Tonkatsu or the miso flavor based ramen here. I just feel anything with beef noodles and soup need a more earthy, anise based soup and the Shoyu doesn't do the beef any justice. Matcha Pudding was a disaster. I didn't even finish it. So I didn't come out here early on when this location opened. Having tried the Memphis Tennessee location I was blown away. The degree of attention the Memphis Staff put into this franchise, makes the Arcadia location look like the little leagues. Los Angeles is a Alpha World City, and I expect that level of management in a restaurant located in that environment. Food for thought.

SAPARRO MISO RAMEN! The bowl of ramen I got might have been my fave ever. Service was great! I really liked the concept of having a reward at the bottom of the ramen bowl. I feel like it really motivates people to eat all the food they order = less food waste! If you come here and are seated NOT in a honeycomb, DO NOT SIT IN FRONT OF ONE! The way the honeycomb is shape will amplify the voices and sounds coming from whoever is sitting in there. Honestly, my least favorite part of this experience. I had to put earplugs on! I swear the people weren't even speaking that loudly, but every laugh was soooooo sharp. Besides the placement of my table, I think all the other tables probably did not have the same issue as me.

Finally got around to trying this place. Came here on a Sunday evening and was glad that there were no longer any long waits for this place. The service was great and the staff members were friendly and attentive. The ambiance was quite unique. Now, on to the food. I tried their Yinyang bowl which consisted of half tonkotsu shouyu ramen and half miso ramen. This was highly recommended but I did feel slightly disappointed with the flavors and quality of the dish. I also tried their classic Japanese omurice combo with a curry sauce and their amazing lemonade. I was impressed with their lemonade and also enjoyed their popcorn chicken.

My coworkers and I decided on a random Tuesday to go visit this place due to all its hype about their hive vibes. So worth the drive here from work. Every food item was served warm and with care. Chris was awesome . He was so kind and patient with us, especially when we kept asking questions about the menu or asking for more items he made the experience that much better. This restaurant had really good service and great tasting food. Their selection of teas is another great thing g about this place; so many to choose from. Their popular omelet rice is worth the try .

We were fortunate enough to get seats in their honeycomb looking area! Super cute and you get a great view of the whole restaurant. I liked that they had a service button at the table so you don't need to flag them down. The food plate: - spicy miso ramen: I got medium spice and it was pretty spicy. I didn't need to drink water with every bite but it was a good spice. - spicy tonkotsu ramen: this was okay. Good to try. - Yakitori Platter (5 Skewers) with spicy sauce (similar to hot pot bbq sauce but spicy). This was good but I recommend eating this right when it comes to your table. It gets cold really fast. -matcha pudding: I wish I liked this more. The pudding was harder than I thought. It comes with a side of (I think) milk. Overall: 3.5/5. I'd come back to try other stuff.

What a lovely hidden spot in the little plaza! Our group of 3 arrived around mid-afternoon on a Sunday and the place was about halfway filled. Very creative presentation of dishes and everything was overall yummy. The yin-yang ramen was interesting, and the omurice looked quite divine. The yakitori, unfortunately, was a tad underwhelming especially as some of the meats tasted a bit dry. The matcha tiramisu as a dessert was lovely though! As for the TBaar side ... the drinks were simply average, the best was probably the fresh lemonade that came with the omurice combo.

On a weekend, we ended up looking for drink deal on apps and found TBaar which is closest to us and offer deal on strawberry banana smoothie. The TBaar is actually part of Kyuramen, I almost thought the map is wrong, it does have another entrance on left of Ramen restaurant, but it's not that visible. Service is okay as I pickup my online order via Check in at front of Ramen restaurant. The store decor on ramen is tradition, the TBaar does look like Jamba Juice type. Finally the strawberry banana smoothies, for me it taste like strawberry banana Icee. I thought it's mostly juice. However, my younger one likes it. So I am giving this a 4/5, to me the drink is 3.5.

This place is alright but the food is definitely salty. I had the chance to try the omurice on its own and while it was presented nicely, the taste wasn't as great. The service was really great as my server was very kind to my party. The ambiance is really nice and made the experience quite nice as I came on Mother's Day.

There's a hidden compartment on the side of the table that holds extra napkins.

The pristine technique of a well-executed omurice is nothing short of awe-inspiring. One of the great things about having a good friend is when they are as enthusiastic about good food as you are (if not more). Treasure & never take those good friends for granted. What's even better is when a trip to such a restaurant that they have already dined at checks all the boxes. In addition to that, the cherry on top might be when you find out that they discovered said restaurant randomly because they were craving Japanese food. Enter Kyuramen x TBaar. Fancy enough where you do feel like you want to walk-in looking cleaned-up, but not too fancy where you can walk-in & not feel like you're going to spend more than you like, Kyuramen x TBaar strikes the perfect balance of, classy-trendy, but not "in-your-face, only for those who are part of a certain tax-bracket" exclusivity. Quite the contrary, what I love about Japanese people & the Japanese culture is that that they arguably the warmest, most hospitable people that you will ever come across. If "cleanliness is next to godliness" then we should all congregate & be worshipping at the shrine of Kyuramen x TBaar, since Japanese food really emphasizes clean flavors, integrity of humble, simple, quality ingredients, & impeccable cooking technique. FOOD: Pork Tonkatsu Omurice - 9.5 / 10 **GET THIS DISH, especially if you've never had omurice** I'm a bit ashamed to admit it, but even after being aware of its existence for many years, seeing countless videos on YouTube + social media, this was my first time ever trying the quintessential Japanese-style omelette. To say that this dish is an exercise in the pinnacle of Japanese egg cookery, is an absolute understatement. The presentation of the perfect oval of scrambled egg served over perfectly-cooked rice, is matched only by the beauty of the defining cut that splits said omelette over said rice. Granted, I'm a fan of a rather runny (& dare I say, almost undercooked egg, the rich, savory, umami demi glace sauce satisfies my most primal culinary urges. I highly recommend adding the optional side of pork tonkatsu. I will admit that I usually order beef or chicken over pork, but the beautifully crisp, perfectly-fried, non-greasy, pork cutlet demands to be eaten alongside this immaculate dish. **Note: you can opt for curry sauce over the demi glace, but boy oh boy was I beyond happy that I went with the latter. Perhaps I'll try the former next time I visit. Honestly, they should bottle their demi glace sauce & sell it. They'd make a fortune on that alone. It's. That. Dang. Good. One really cool thing (that I haven't really seen elsewhere) is that this dish includes your choice of: A) Thai Iced Tea -or- B) "Amazing" Lemonade DRINK Amazing Lemonade - 8.8 / 10 (included with order of Pork Tonkatsu Omurice) - I'm admittedly not the biggest fan of lemonade. (I tend to get acid reflux because of the acidity). That said, this drink truly lives up to its name. What really makes it is the surprise addition of shredded cucumber pieces that add a refreshing twist & provide a crisp bite - literally + figuratively. I've never seen cucumber in lemonade, but it makes sense since cucumber is a common addition to water to make if more refreshing. This is a very welcome way to enjoy lemonade. I appreciate that they were able to take in my party of 2 as walk-ins on a Sunday evening. The entire front-of-house team was nothing short of hospitable, receptive, accommodating, & warm. Also, huge shout-out to Ken for being the coolest server. He's is such a friendly, polite, passionate, & earnest host. If management is reading this, please recognize Ken's commitment & dedication to customer satisfaction & consider giving him a raise. Having never met him before & being that this was my first visit, I would definitely come back simply because he was so patient, kind-hearted, & beyond generous with his time. He didn't hesitate to answer any + all of my questions regarding the restaurant's truly beautiful cuisine. My good friend had the Tonkatsu Shoyu Ramen & she said that she absolutely enjoyed it. She is a ramen aficionado, so I'll definitely have to try that during a future visit & report back. Thank you, Kyuramen x TBaar, for such an unexpectedly pleasant evening! 5 Stars & more if I could!!! I can't wait to come back.

Amazing Lemonade (came in with my Pork Tonkatsu Omurice (5/25/26)

We were in the area and decided to try this Ramen place. FOOD: We ordered the B1 Combo Classice that cane in with Popcorn Chicken appetizer, mains are 1 Saporo Miso Ramen (mild), 1 Tokyo Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen and dessert of a Matcha Pudding with Red Bean and Japanese Cherry Blossom Jelly. We also tried their Pork Tonkatsu Omurice combo that includes 1 drink choice of Thai Tea or Amazing Lemonade which is what I got. Everything in the combo we ordered was actually worth the price. I love their ramen broth and the noodles here. We liked the popcorn chicken also, it was juicy on the inside and flavorful. The omurice is something that we don't have in San Fernando Valley so I was happy that I get to have this and I love how the omelette was perfectly cooked. It really pairs well with the pork tonkatsu with curry sauce. The Amazing Lemonade really taste refreshing, it taste different that the regular lemonade. The 2 desserts was a perfect way to end the meal. I live the mtcha pudding because you can really taste the matcha flavor in it. The Japanese Cherry Blossom Jelly is also really good if you want something on the lighter aide of dessert, it isn't too sweet or creamy. We also ordered drinks to go from the Tbaar and got the Amazing Milk Black Tea (large) and the Brown Sugar Bubble Milk Tea & they all came with bobas already. SERVICE: They're staff/servers were all nice and very attentive, they really provide great cuatomer service. AMBIENCE: The inside is so aesthetic, I love the Japanese modern vibe. The restaurant is spacious, lots of seating, great for families with kids and big groups and clean. I'm glad I saw this place in yelp while we were driving by. My fam left with a happy and full tummy!

When I entered the restaurant, I was confused about the protocol because the tea bar is inside the restaurant. Apparently you can just order drinks or you can eat at the restaurant and TBaar makes the drinks ordered at the restaurant. I ordered the popcorn chicken, yakitori platter, and a passionfruit tea with fresh fruit. The popcorn chicken was delicious. It was perfectly seasoned, very tender, and very juicy. I really enjoyed the zucchini from the yakitori platter. Every skewer was perfectly seasoned. I don't like overly salty food and this was perfect. The scallops were also delicious. Every part of the scallop was tender and there were no extra chewy parts. The beef skewer was good but it would taste better if there was more of a charred taste to it. The decor is really cute with honeycomb booths for certain areas.

The noodles are firm with a nice bite to it. I especially like the Okinawa soba because it uses thicker noodles. The meat is tender and has a sweet flavor to it. The mentaiko cream bowl was lighter but still had a lot of flavor. Overall, it was pretty decent & the service was great. I'm not sure if I would come back again since it's a bit far from where I live & the food was just okay.

The…read moreother two ordered tsukemen ($26.50 for the spicy deluxe and $23.50 for the spicy chasu) and found it very salty because they chose to consume it not by dipping the noodles in the bowl of broth, but rather by pouring all the broth from the bowl into the noodles, trying to recreate a normal bowl of ramen. I can't speak for them, but I will say, if you order the tsukemen and find that you want more dipping broth, that will be an extra charge. Order a regular bowl of ramen if you do not plan to dip the brothless noodles into the broth for each bite. BF and I both tried the spicy tuna bowl ($7.95), chashu bowl ($8.95), and tonkotsu ramen ($15.95). The bowls are a little smaller than the ramen bowls and are a great option if you want a light meal without feeling super full. The tonkotsu ramen had a slightly rich broth that was flavorful and a decent portion of noodles. We opted not to order the ramen with the egg since we were also trying the rice bowls. The three items were more than enough for the two of us and a good variety of food. Parking here is horrible at the street level, so head downstairs for the two levels of underground parking.

I know they owned Killer Noodle and brought it back for a day or so during some weeks, but still. I feel like I can partly blame those who can't handle spice, numbing or not, and or people with generally normie tastes. Anyways, enough of that diatribe. Parking can get horrible and fisted here, even though there's parking in the pit. The best bet is to just park at the 99 Ranch Market across the street and walk over. This restaurant also gets super busy too and there's limited tables and seating inside for how popular it is. They did collabs too, like the Naruto one. There were instructions on how to properly eat tsukemen and staff was friendly and polite too. I know they tried to make the ambiance a bit nicer and fancier, but with the constant slew of customers and people, you can only do so much. Since it's a tsukemen restaurant, I always just got tsukemen here. I'd get the spicy chashu tsukemen. Comes with a generous portion of chashu pork and is made with their homemade spices. It also comes with a soft boiled egg, a slice of lime to squeeze in for taste, green onions and a sheet nori. After dipping the noodles, you can ask for soup wari to eat the rest of the broth in. It's a delicious and hefty portion and sorta justifies the $30 for a bowl of tsukemen thing. Flavorful broth with a depth of delicious spices. Nice thick noodles that absorb the broth nicely. I like that you get a good amount of chashu. Adding the lime makes the noodles a bit more refreshing if you get a bit tired of the taste. Spicy doesn't make it spicy at all, but at the very least gave a bit of heat to it. There's other Tsujitas out there, just now a bit farther.

The live sweet shrimp was incredibly sweet and tender, and the Uni Tofu was one of my favorites of the night. The silky tofu paired perfectly with the rich, creamy uni, creating a delicate and flavorful combination. The uni oyster was also outstanding--fresh, briny, and topped with generous uni and roe. We also enjoyed the charcoal-grilled beef tongue, which had a great smoky flavor and perfect texture. The crab don and wagyu don with raw egg were both delicious and comforting, with high-quality ingredients in every bite. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was perfect for a date night or a special dinner with friends. Everything we ordered exceeded expectations. Highly recommend KIYO for anyone looking for quality Japanese cuisine in Arcadia. We'll definitely be back!

I recently had the opportunity to try a variety of items from their menu, and several dishes stood out. The mixed tempura arrived light, crispy, and not overly greasy. One of the highlights of the evening was the seasonal live coral sweet shrimp. The presentation alone was impressive, with the shrimp beautifully displayed over ice, but the freshness and sweetness of the shrimp made it even more memorable. It was also my first time trying wagyu beef tongue, and I was pleasantly surprised by how tender and flavorful it was. The assorted sashimi selection was another standout, featuring a variety of fresh cuts that showcased the quality of the seafood. I especially enjoyed the uni and premium sashimi selections, which were rich, buttery, and beautifully presented. Other favorites included the uni tofu appetizer, a flavorful beef rice bowl topped with egg yolk, and a generous tempura platter that was perfect for sharing. The restaurant itself has a welcoming atmosphere, and the staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Parking is free and plentiful, which is always a plus in the area. I also noticed they offer lunch specials and holiday party trays for takeout and online ordering, making it a great option whether you're dining in or feeding a larger group. Overall, KIYO delivered a great dining experience with fresh seafood, quality ingredients, and excellent service. I'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu.

You walk in thinking, "I'll just grab a quick bowl," and suddenly there's a noodle master stretching dough like he's training for the Olympics. Their Lanzhou-style noodles? Fresh, chewy, and honestly a little too good--they'll ruin instant ramen for you forever. The Lan noodle soup is so rich and savory. The died mixed noodle feels like a warm hug... if hugs came with chili oil and a kick that sneaks up on you. It's a small, busy spot, so yeah, you might wait--but don't worry, the line moves fast. Plus, it gives you time to emotionally prepare for choosing your noodle shape. Thin? Wide? Triangle? This is not a decision to take lightly. One wrong move and you'll be thinking about it halfway through your bowl like, "I should've gone wider."

They have a small and large sweet and sour chicken rice plate. I had gotten the small size just to try it out, but it was surprisingly good (5/5). The pork sandwich bun was decent (4/5) since the beef was tasty but the sandwich bun could be better. We also had the traditional beef noodle soups with either the wide flat and triangle ones. You can't go wrong with these freshly made pulled noodles, and they are very hearty portions. Flavor is good and the beef is very tender. The smashed cucumbers were decent also (4/5), but nothing spectacular about them. Service is very quick, attentive and pleasant. This is a good go to spot for a quick meal. The dining room doesn't seat a lot of people so try not to come during busy dining hours on weekends to avoid a long wait.
