I stopped here recently for a Big Mac because every now and then I need some Big Macs or Mcdonald's breakfast. The Big Mac was well-made. Ingredients were well proportioned. Not too much special sauce but just the right amount. I ordered it without onions, and it came without onions. The fries were hot and fresh. My boyfriend and I ordered from this mcdonald's and had chosen curbside pickup, it showed on the mobile app the order had been ready so we waited in the car for 15 minutes. My boyfriend went inside just to kindly ask how much longer or if he could just grab it so they wouldn't have to walk out to the car. The employee rudely told him that we ordered it 9 minutes ago and that they were still working on it and that they would have it ready when it was done and that they can't change the order status. It's not the customers fault that the mobile app said that it was ready‍ When the same employee brought the food to the car he pretty much threw the bag in my boyfriends lap, my boyfriend said sorry for all of the trouble. The dude looked at us and didn't say a word and just walked inside, now eating food and they gave us the wrong drink and didn't put bacon on a burger. I filed 2 police reports on this mcdonalds because I ordered multiple items online 2 different days and didn't recieve my food when I asked I showed my receipts and they didn't give me a refund or my food instead when I did it all they told me to wait and then I told them again when I said I would call the police if they didn't refund or give me my food they told me to leave instead I believe this is fraud. read more

Glitch in the Matrix: Beware take a picture of the screen once you order!!! & Check your meal before leaving!! On Sunday night around 7 pm I came to this Mickey D's with my neighbor. She ordered in the drive-through a big Mac and large fries. We were certain that the order was right since large fries came up on the screen even after the cashier asked so you want soda with that and I said "No Thanks!" I decided to pull up to the first window. Then were giving a receipt and I quickly gave it to my neighbor since I was the driver. Unfortunately, she did not look at the receipt quickly enough to realize that it said large soda instead of large fries. We then proceed to the second window and that is when the employee man working gave us large soda. I let him know "That is not ours, we had a large fries." He said your order says large soda if you want large fries you're gonna have to pay extra. Unfair! It was a typo on their end! Unfortunately we did not take a picture of the drive through screen so the employees noticed a glitch in the matrix :-/ he charged her extra and did not give us a receipt!! There is no way that we could've given an honest review via the McDonald's company since the receipt has the survey. Soon after I asked my neighbor if she wanted to check her meal to see if everything was correct and she said "yeah it's fine" and she didn't look. Once she arrived home she texted me that she noticed that her big Mac was missing a patty!! Wtf?! I hope that if we go back to the restaurant they can give her a refund because I've had a pretty good experience hence the three stars but I have yet to return and have my own personal encounter with this McDonald's. read more

so, when we were ordering he cut us off. when we got to the window, he gave us part of the order but not the rest, so when we asked for the rest he started insisting he gave it to us, but he NEVER DID. we got a medium fry and we also ordered a large fry, never got the large fry. it was on the receipt, and he still wouldn't give it to us. He forgot to put the fries in the bag, but insisted he did even though we DID NOT GET IT!! I am a 15 a year old girl and he was extremely rude to me, he made my 15 year old friend pay for her older sister's fry, WHICH WE ALREADY PAID FOR. that was my last straw, I've already had a really difficult past year and he just made it all that worse. it did not help that he closed the window on us several times mid conversation, he has lack of respect for other people and should not be in the custom service. he made me feel extremely terrible about myself and im considering killing myself tonight. It is no surprise that McDonald's tend to be busy, it is a given. All of the times that I have waited in my car via drive-thru they manage to be courteous, nice and provide great customer service. I appreciate the smiles the ladies and gentlemen have provided me with (whether it be genuine or not) I'm buying it. The times I have had their Big macs, cheeseburgers, fries and their parfait I have not been disappointed. Oh, the food that I have ordered has always been in my bag. I have had times that I paid for food that was not in my bag, thankfully this has not happened at this location(knock on wood). Let me start off by saying that I'm not a local to the area and I frequent here once a month to see my terrible ex and my beautiful child. Besides my child this McDonald's is what lights my days out here cus it sure ain't seeing my ex. The food is always made especially delicious. Ordered a double quarter pounder and it looked just like in the commercials and pictures. The fries were crispy and well salted. And let me tell you about the soda. The coke was hitting hitting. Gas was crazy in it my souls almost left my body. The workers may always be higher than girrafe knuckles but they know what they doing back there. I can't believe how incompetent the people who work there are! First, they were out of the large size fries so they could not offer me a large meal, which is understandable, but they offered me a large drink to make up for it, which I agreed. They ended up making me pay for a large meal that they didn't have, which came out to over $10, essentially making me pay more for less. Second, the meal I ordered was the new bacon bbq burger, and once I got home with the meal I was unfortunately surprised to find out that the burger they offered me was nothing more than a hamburger with a couple strips of bacon and bbq sauce. No cheese or no onion strings. So I made my way back to the restaurant AFTER just driven back home, told them the issue, and they offered to make a new one, which I agreed to since I paid over $10 for this meal. Third, once I got my new burger, the only addition they made was that they put on one piece of cheese and nothing else. I asked them what the deal was, and was told they had no onion strings. They told me this AFTER all of this had happened, which annoyed me and confused me. Why offer a burger you can't fully complete, but expect people to pay the same price for it, and in this case, more than what I was supposed to? I haven't deal with such incompetency in a VERY long time, and I know McDonalds isn't known for its quality food or service, but this is just outrageous. Definitely will never order from here again, and neither should you unless you want incomplete burgers while being charged full price for them. read more

I agree with Cassandra, these workers take abuse from other people who are unhappy with their lives. Never had a messed up order, food tastes amazing every single time, and I get through promptly. Today I saw a worker jog back inside after giving a parked customer their food. I don't need nor expect perfection, so for all of those reasons I'm giving 5. read more

They make my order correctly majority of the time and the food tastes good just as any other McDonald's, and they're quick.

The way the "manager" Harlen just treated me was 100% not ok. I have never ever been treated like that at any food establishment. Ever. Someone in a "management" position should at least know how to respect customers. I placed an order on the app, got confirmation and was charged. They claimed not to get it. Came here for breakfast and dinner dessert during our stay at a hotel nearby. Their lobby is closed and only doing drive thru. With not many other options around, their drive thru line can easily wrap around the entire parking lot. Staff was always friendly, but they are very slow getting food out. I was at your McDonalds in Arcata today at 1:30 PM. I ordered an apple pie and a cinnamon roll on your app. In a few minutes, a young man came out and informed me that you wouldn't have any cinnamon rolls until 3:00, and that I would have to return after that to get one. I asked to speak to the manager. A young girl claiming to be the "manager" came out, and I informed her that I had just made a special trip for this order and could NOT return at 3:00. Therefore, since she was unable to issue a refund, I would like a rain check for the cinnamon roll to pickup on another day. The so-called "manager" was totally uncooperative, refused to do anything and merely repeated that if I wanted my order filled, I would have to come back at 3:00. She was rude, insulting, and TOTALLY uncooperative !! I fail to see WHY she would make a big issue out of giving me a rain check, especially since the source of the problem was YOURS ?? I can only conclude that she had NO interest in being cooperative NOR in providing ANY manner of "Customer Service" !! The last few weeks has been a lot of brand new poorly trained employees. On top of that, they added a second drive thru lane that doesn't speed anything up at all because they've only got one new employee taking all the orders from both lanes. They frequently lose track of what's going on, so sometimes you're waiting in a lane while 3 cars get their orders taken in the other lane. Go to Carl's Jr across the street instead. This place used to not be a place I would recommend, however as of my last two visits I would recommend this McDonald's for some fast food and amazing customer service! The morning crew is really fast getting cars through the drive through line (which wrapped around the property but only took 10 minutes max for me to get up to the order screen). Then I get up to the screen and this super positive voice comes through the speaker and In the most upbeat voice says gooooooooooooooooodddddddddddd mmmmmoooooorrrrrrrnnnnnnniiiinnnnnggggg. I will no longer come to this McDonald's, they are always out of everything, two days in a row I have ordered, iced Coffee NO SWEETENER , both days I get sweetend coffee, the second day I try it before leaving and notice it's sweet they bring me out a new coffee that is inf act unsweetened however is 3 shades lighter than the original sweet coffee, being that it is mostly milk/ creamer.. absolutely terrible read more

One of the best McDonald's we've been to in a long time. First of all, they got our order right - repeated it back to us and didn't mess anything up (my kids are the Kings and Queens of substitutions etc). Then my kids wanted to swap out happy meal toys for ones they didn't have already at home and the girls were so friendly, helpful and patient with them. Great customer service! Thank you! read more
