My son got injured in the play place after Esmeralda and Josephine ensure that they wouldn't control the children within. The play place of this establishment. There were multiple overweight and oversized children girl soccer players that the parents could care less about so I took upon myself to ask the management to limit who the let enter the play place to prevent my son from getting any further injuries. And Esmeralda and Josephine said they couldn't tell the children how to behave but only limit them. Which makes no sense considering you're the manager of this establishment and a worker. After saying that they both just walk in the place place and then left. Absolutely disgusting. read more

The french fries and Big Macs were warm at best. Our two Big Mac centers kept sliding around making eating them very messy an unappealing. They also forgot to include the dipping sauce in the McNugget Happy Meal. Young lady working the register went outside and would not wear the fluorescent vest she was supposed to put on even though others told her it was company policy. The workers were talking and I heard one of them use the "MF" swear word loud enough to be heard in the lobby. The date on the receipt was on 09/23/23 and the time was between 4:00 and 4:30 pm. I may rethink going back there especially at how much we were charged for our food. read more

In recent times, McDonald's has been undergoing something of a renaissance into trying to become some odd upscale Starbucks-a-like, and in doing so, as a parent, I've been disappointed to see a number of nice playlands disappear. McDonald's seems to have forgotten that they have the playland market cornered... so anyways, I've decided to review some and share some hints for other parents. This location has, quite simply, a nice playland, a nice layout, and appeared to be well-kept. It's in Aurora, IL, and we've only been here once (usually we try to go places a few times before I'll post a review), but the overall air of the place suggested that management was taking good care of it. We noticed a bunch of kids running around without socks, despite the posted rules, but the equipment was generally clean and the restrooms were well-maintained. The restroom in the play area offers a changing table and a seat to strap down a kid while you take care of another. There is a large tube maze for the older kids, plus a platform and small slide for the younger ones. Seating areas to the sides are partially separated, but eating in the dining room is probably a better idea, as it can still get a little noisy. Giving it 4 out of 5 "for a McDonald's". read more

My last 8 visits over the last 2 years have all been extremely disappointing, missing food, missing condiments after requesting them, being ignoring at the drive through, extra long waits, poorly cooked food, over cooked fries, you name it, all can go wrong and will go wrong at this particular McDonalds. If I could give one & a half stars I would, but not worthy of 2 stars. It has yet to met even basic standards on any level. I only ate here a few times but every time I go it is a visit to forget. I never write a review for a fast food restaurant but I was utterly disappointed when I received my order. First off, the cashier was rude, I understand you don't like your job but I don't believe in treating your customers like crap. To be honest I live next door to this McD's. And visit this place often out of convenience. And for the longest time they have been somewhat neighborly. Except for a snobby manager that threatened to call the police on customers. (When it's their fault for messing up an order and not giving a receipt.) Now this place is under renovation. They have torn it down and are building anew. Which I thought was going to be a good thing. Here's what's going on. Giving it that modern cookie-cutter building look. They connected the lot to a a street behind as well. Good news, they built a new playplace. They annexed some of the property behind theirs to build a large ditch. This will help control flooding in their parking lot. But it will give us less parking in our already crowded lot. It had been rather convenient to just walk across the parking lot to visit this McD's. But now it seems they are building a 4ft tall concrete wall between the properties. And added a 4 ft tall fence on top of it. This will separate our alley from their lot. But it makes it inconvenient to walk around and difficult to unload in our alley. read more

Went there today after work. Waited in line forever. Get to the window, and they charged me for someone else's meal that was significantly more then mine. Told the manager at the next window I want my money back, and didn't want my meal. Continued to run my card for my purchase, and then refunded it all back. Now I have to wait a least a day for the bank to give 20 dollars back because the worker, and manager at this Mcdonalds are incompetent. Why run my card for my meal that I said I no longer wanted after you already charged me for someone else's? It's McDonald's. That's why I can only give it a max of 3 stars. For a McDonald's it is one of the best in the area. They recently remodeled and their quality of food improved since then. As for reviews saying it's not the best area, don't judge a book by its cover. I live across the street and it is a fine area. I waited for her to come back to the counter, however she never did.
