The app isn't supposed to let you order something they don't have but they come out and say they don't have it and won't refund your reward points. I waited 20 minutes outside for a curbside pickup order. I called at the 10 minute mark to check if my order was ready, a mere 3 sandwiches. The worker there then hung up on me after I told him my situation and my order, leaving me guessing if they were even gonna bring out my food. 10 minutes later a guy brings out my food and tells me he thinks someone grabbed my bag. I find it hard to believe when the food he handed me was cold, and as you can see not even the cheese is melted. I believe she was the manager, but she helped move the line along helping the customers use the kiosk and would check in with the tables to ensure everything was great and we had what we needed. I had the absolute worse experience here tonight 10/4/2023 at approximately 7:15 PM. If I could give this store ZERO stars, I would. I live in Lake Isabella and I come into BAKERSFIELD once a week to take the kiddos to boxing. We stopped at McDonald's on the way home and I ordered three combo meals and wanted to use a code to get a $.24 happy meal. I told the cashier at the window I had a code for the happy meal. Before I could give her the code and before she handed me back my debit card, she said she had already processed my card and told me there was nothing she was going to do about it and I would have to reorder. I asked to speak to a manager at this time. A manager showed up at the window who immediately started to defend the cashier and became combative towards me. She said if I wanted to use the code that I would have to order a combo meal. I told her I did (I ordered three) and before the cashier gave me my card back I was giving her my code. Then, a second person (who I assumed was also a manager and who also refused to provide me her name) came to the window. Meanwhile, the customers behind me in the drive through were getting quit upset as this was taking sometime and they also wanted their food. Both managers didn't give any regard to the upset customers in the drive through. Finally, the manager in a red shirt corrected everything. Meanwhile, the first person I spoke to after the cashier and who also presented herself like a manager, was making condescending faces and rolling her eyes and laughing as she was behind the window speaking to the manager in red who was actually helping me. When I asked for her name, she said she didn't have to provide it to me. I took their picture and hope corporate will see this so I can forward their identification to them. When I finally got home, 1/2 my order was missing. I ordered two double cheeseburgers for my husband and conveniently they were not in the bag after driving 1.5 hours to get home to Lake Isabella (Squirrel Mountain Valley). When I called to let them know (still not having any names as they refused to provide me their names), I asked for the manager and was told she was on lunch and to call back in 45 minutes. I can't believe how this store treats their customers and furthermore how I wasn't provided my full order which I paid for. When I went to the second window to pick up my food, several employees stopped to stare at me as though there was chatter among the staff regarding this incident. Very unprofessional. Mmmmm 2) Free wifi that's easy to connect to, fast (8-9Mb download), and nobody cares how long you use it as long as you bought something. 3) I have a friend's children with me; children go gaga for their chicken nuggets and happy meal prizes. McDonalds has recently been trying to up their game by going more upscale. You can now order customized burgers at ordering kiosks and in 6-8 minutes they'll deliver the burger you custom created with a smile. You start with two bread choices - buttered toasted artisan roll or buttered toasted ciabata roll. Feeling Saucy? Then choose from seven possible sauces/condiments" Bic Mac special sauce, spicy mayo, creamy garlic sauce, sweet BBQ, and (for those unimaginative sorts) Mayonnaise, ketchup, or yellow mustard. Mix and match 9 toppings: guacamole, sliced jalapenos, grilled mushrooms, crisp red onions, caramelized onions, chili lime tortilla strips, sliced tomato, leaf lettuce, and crinkle cut pickles. There is also an outdoor patio area with three picnic tables shaded by umbrellas, though I can't imagine one would enjoy the sound, smell, and sight of the traffic on 24th Street racing by. I have to be honest. I only stopped in here to use the restrooms (which were impeccably clean and sporting XLERATOR hand dryers), purchase one of those $1 huge refillable sodas, and use their free wifi, but after watching other people's orders delivered to them I was pretty curious. I'll definitely be trying one of these new burgers on my next visit. read more

We went there on a Friday night in the drive thru and we got there with 7 minutes until they closed. I realize that they were closing but I have a seven year old that wasn't feeling well and he really wanted to have McDonald's. I kept saying hello and no one answered me. And at 11:59 they turned the light off and the menu board off. And said nothing to me. I backed up and went to the door and the 3 workers including a manager were there laffing at me. We go to McDonald's on a average of 4to 6 times a week. And I will never go to that one again. We ended going to Carl's Jr instead the one on white lane and they were more than accommodating to our needs. The new iced carmel macchiato is so yummy, better than Starbucks. But I'm sure it's like a million calories. This is a newer renovated mcds. They are fast and friendly. The only thing I don't like about this one is that there are a lot of sketchy people here that ask for money and it seems like I'm always grabbing a little bite or snacks with my children at this location.
