People in the other reviews are NOT happy with this McDonald's, and I'll tell you ... it's not great. But it's McDonald's. What is everyone expecting? The food quality is probably slightly less reliable than the Chester Ave location in Oildale (I know, crazy, right? It's true, though). And access to this McDonald's is complicated by the one-way streets on both sides, but a drive-thru that points west and north, so there is some looping required, depending on what angle you're arriving from. Personally, coming from the west, I made a left, a right, then curled into the drive-thru. On the way out, I drove through a carwash lot, a gas station lot, and back out to the street because I needed to continue west on a street to the south. Got that? In any case, my quarter pounder was created without cheese, as I instructed. My fries were, as always, the grossest and most delicious foot item on the planet, and my lemon-lime soda was properly syruped. What else do you want? It's McDonald's, and at least it'll make you less sick than the T-Bell next door. read more

I haven't been to this Mc. Donald's location since the upgrade. And I must say wow! That's because they have made convenient seating for those who would like to stay awhile. My guess the coffee and Free wi-if is the lure for this perk to stay for awhile. Keith was the cashier who took my order. I skipped the kiosk though I love the convenience of the kiosk Build-Your-Own-Burger. However I received the coupon in the mail for free fries and med drink with purchase of the burger. The kiosk doesn't take coupons and requires an associate to ring the order up. My time was 5 minutes start to finish. And delivered right to my table! The food looks amazing! Keith was very personable. He even offered the best features of the sandwich- bacon- two slices! I ordered Gouda cheeses- two slices , no charge. What? What? Also he provided the value added service suggestion. Their new mozzarella sticks with marinara sauce. read more

I love this McDonald's. I ate here 3 to 4 times a week before the current Emergency. The staff is extremely competent and very friendly. I don't believe my order has ever been wrong (simple order but I'm talking about eating there regularly since 2005). This is amazing to me. There are a lot of homeless people around... So I always use the buy one get one free sandwich coupon that you get for completing a survey. This way, I have a burger and one to give away. read more

This McDonald's always has fast service making it a feasible stop on my way to work. (That's appreciated considering its on one of the busiest streets in town during morning rush hour.) I've only ever had one issue here (which really isn't an issue, I just found it hilarious and have to mention it) The last time I went, I ordered 20 chicken nuggets with honey mustard as a dipping sauce. When I drove off I realized I was given honey packets instead. Actual honey. For my chicken nuggets. What!? Just thought that was funny. read more

I get it, it's fast food and my expectation shouldn't be too crazy. But the customer service here is HORRIBLE! After waiting in line for 28 minutes, at 2:00pm in the afternoon (so definitely not the normal lunch rush hour), both ladies at both windows were rude and acted as if it was a burden that they were at work. This is one of the worst McDonald's I ever went to. About 30 mins ago today I went through the drive thru and ordered a #6 everything fresh. I ask for extra bbq sauce the girl ignored me and had an attitude because I was still waiting in line for my sauce so she threw it at me so I get my food it was cold‼my fries where saggy and my nuggets test like they been in the warmer to long. Then I go inside to speak with a manger to ask for a refund she didn't ask no questions just gave me my receipt and said have a good night. I drove through the drive through to buy breakfast and I ordered. When I arrived at the window to pay I asked to add two more sandwiches. The drive thru attendant was pleasant and happily tried when the screen went blank. So she apologised and asked for my order again. She completed the transaction, I paid and drove up to next window where I was being handed drinks when I could hear what appeared to be a shift leader or manager and she was screaming at the staff. She fired off 'CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN WHY WE HAVE DUPLICATE ORDERS '!!!! I immediately was taken back and shocked. I said "excuse me it may have been my fault cause I added to the order." She gave me the ugliest look and started to yell at the kitchen to stop all the orders.... I look at the young lady that was handing me my stuff and said I hope you all survive today with a smile I feel bad for you. NOBODY deserves to work in environment like that. The first thing i asked when i got up to the window was "is ur machine broken?"...cuz they had "broken" machines the last two times I went. I would like take a moment to say how very rude the manager at this location is. She ignored my child while she asked to switch her boy toy for a girl one, she also failed to comply with a coupon that was scanned and added to my order. As for the staff, the staff was great but the manager was unacceptably unprofessional. I know this is just a fast food spot but for the increase in the prices I would expect proper service. This particular McDonalds never has ice cream ready to go. We live around the corner and have four small kids and they love ice cream. Without exaggeration we have gone to the F Street location at least twenty times where the employee says "the machines are broken," or "We don't have any ice cream right now. They didn't fill it last night." It is 7pm the next day. How long does it take to fill the machine? It seems like it is more of a "I don't want to clean the machine so let's not make it" kind of thing. We love McDonalds, but these excuses get old to people who live near the place. Today, my family and I walked right back out and went to another place that had ice cream. This seems like an easy fix if the management cares enough to fix it. Debrah and Rayleen, duo. So, I visit this location every morning. I pay with my card and Debrah never provides a receipt. It happens everyday, so I stopped paying attention. Well, today after paying, I was stopped by Rayleen and told that my card didn't go through. She wanted my receipt! Needless to say, I didn't have one to offer (thanks Debrah,) so I pulled up my bank account to see if the transaction went through. And wow! The transaction went through! I showed Rayleen my purchase of $7.34 cents from McDonald's on Fst, dated and timed for right now! But, that wasn't good enough. She wanted a receipt! Anyways, I wasn't about to debate with the Duo, so I will just file a fraudulent charge with my bank. A supervisor should have been called. You can't take people's money and not provide the meal. That's called theft, ladies. I understand technology issues happen, and this is obviously what happened. I won't bother calling management. Based on their reviews, management wouldn't care. So, I'll leave my review how it happened, nothing extra and never return to this place. read more

Any time I visit McDonald's my expectations are low. That being said, in order to achieve such a low rating even after my already lowered expectations takes some work. On the way back up to NorCal this morning. My dad and I left Palm Springs just before 5am. We agreed on stopping in Bakersfield for a super quick breakfast. We arrived at McD's right around 8:30 in the morning. Simple order of: 2 sausage biscuits, 1 sausage biscuit with cheese, 1 hash Brown, 1 small oj, and a milk. The woman working the counter was so angry. She did not smile once. When she entered in one of my ordered items incorrectly, she immediately became annoyed at me because clearly, I pressed the wrong button on the register, not her. Ugh. So, we received our order. The hash Brown was limp. It was nasty. The milk was expired by 10 days. When we made the cashier aware of the problems, she rolled her eyes, snatched the items from me and proceeded to tell me that the milk is perfectly "fine to drink as long as it doesn't smell bad". Ummm....no thank you. After some debate, she gave me a New unexpired milk. Thankfully, I don't believe that I will ever be visiting this establishment ever again. read more

Whoever is the night manager here needs to go. I've been here multiple times dining in and she's a hot mess. I'm finally complaining after many incidents. She is aweful and demeaning to her staff, constantly ignores customers asking for service, and has family (I'm guessing bf or son), come in constantly. He's loud and seams unstable or on drugs. The second he shows up she acts as if she's off the clock and is even more unhelpful and rude. He usually brings in multiple children that cause a ruckus every time. Recently, she refused to listen to me when I needed an order changed. Sense it was for me and we were still in the ordering process I didn't see why she needed to act the way she did. She refused to acknowledge my questions and answered as rudely as possible. She told me they were his orders not mine and pretty much wouldn't tell me what he ordered. This was already after explaining he was ordering for me incorrectly and I just needed to correct it. Her attitude has always been a problem and now it's keeping me away from somewhere close by that I used to enjoy visiting to unwind and get a quick bite. read more

We ordered two sundaes and a flurry today. The two sundaes were only half full and didn't have a lot of fudge in them. The flurry was not mixed very well and only the top third to half of the flurry had the bits mixed in while the rest was just vanilla ice cream. This is the worst service I have ever had. I got off work late exhausted just wanted to grab a bite to eat real quick. I order a mushroom and Swiss burger and some cookies. after I paid they asked me to pull forward to wait while they made the cookies "fresh" .....they said. I wait and wait for 20 mins and I can see that the same guys is cleaning window and can clearly see us. So my boyfriend goes to see what's going on. The guys just stares at him for like 5 mins like my boyfriend was just some bum or something. He finally comes to the door and says omg I'm so sorry I forgot about you guys and we accidentally burnt your cookies here your 1$ back! (Like wtf how do you forget when there's only one place to park while waiting for food and you were cleaning windows staring at us the whole time). My boyfriend talked to the manager and she was very sweet and refunded our money which was nice but i just wanted to get my food and go. My food was totally cold once we got home and oh the order was wrong. They gave me grilled chicken on a mushroom and Swiss burger, That was not in the picture nor did they give me an option! I tried to give it a shot but two bites and I just couldn't. I'm stuck now starving and fucking pissed! I have never written a review in my life but this is how mad I am! Very disappointed! Previously all my experiences have been great for this McDonalds, but the last two visits have been bad. They've been in the last 45 days and I don't know if they've changed managers but the food is not fresh, the restaurant is dirty and the staff is not friendly! All the staff standing around yelling at each other while the seats and table need to be wiped down with some soap and water! Filthy! I think they're supposed to be a gold color and they're a dirty, brown mustard. I did even want to sit on the cushions and the chairs were just a dirty! The second time I went through the drive thru and I ordered a dinner salad with my meal, about $2.49 and all it is lettuce and a packet of dressing. No carrots, no tomatoes. I asked for croutons and she laughed and said lots of people ask for those and we don't carry them......2.49! The fries were soggy and my hamburger bun was dry/stale. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because I know they can do better! read more

Between their ice cream machine being broken all summer and now their coffee machine broken for the past month in the winter, this place is horrible. Don't rely on getting coffee here in the morning.
