Ordered 3 Mushroom Swiss burgers. They're supposed to come with fried onion strings but when we pulled over in to the parking lot and began eating them we realized none of them had any onion strings. We wanted to make sure we had proof so we stopped eating and went back through the drive-thru to let them know they made a mistake. Well, apparently they were out of stock but the employee who took our order forgot and took our order anyway and forgot to mention it to us so naturally I thought the manager helping us would've apologized and would have offered us a partial refund or small credit or something since we've been sitting there with our burgers in our hands and clearly have an upset look on our face but nope! He didn't care. Instead he was like "I can add regular onions but that's the best I can do". So I just left. What sucks is that nothing will ever change with this place. It's McDonald's. read more

Came to eat inside while I waited for some classes in Bakersfield college. I ordered an egg mcmuffin with a hasbrown and an iced hazelnut coffee. Tasted the same like in every McDonalds. Lol. The service was awesome! I believe it was the manager but told me my hashbrown wasn't going to be ready and to just sit. I didn't mind because it was past "breakfast time" and I thought the hashbrown was not included in the all day breakfast menu in the first place so I was happy I was getting it at all. Plus I have had this problem of having to wait for my hashbrown in many other McDonalds. So I'm assuming it's some type of protocol. When it was ready the lady personally brought it to me. It was obviously just made and tasted delicious. So I had no complaints. They were cleaning when I was eating here. So they seem to be on top of their duties. They also have a playground for the kiddos and it looks clean as well, not that I played in there or anything lol... Location, not in a horrible place. The layout of the restaurant is kind of awkward because to get in the restaurant I think you have to cross the drive through lol. Besides all it met all my needs. read more

Went to McDonald's twice this week. First time we ordered what was supposed to be the Deluxe Quarter Pounder,we got the Hot and Spicy Chicken meal. Went tonight on 12 /12 2022 ordered the Mc Chicken with no lettuce,not only did it not have lettuce it also wasn't on a bun ,just the Chicken patty in the wrapper. Took the cashier 4 times to count my change in the drive through ,because she was to busy talking to another employee sitting in the corner,laughing and carrying on. Honestly, just no. I went this morning and my card kept "declining," which is a big surprise to me because I have plenty of money in my account. I asked the manager to run it manually because there is 0 reason it should decline and I use it all the time. Manager refused to do anything but use the chip reader. So I had to give my food back. Went to the donut shop next door for a $1 donut and surprise my card went through fine. Where is the customer service? Horrible mobile order process. They don't even make your food until you get there, the manager confused behind the counter. My wife ordered and I had the code to get the order but the guy said my wife's phone must be there... the code is 10 digits long... like someone else would guess it?? Where do I start, ok the reason I gave them 3 stars is because it was relatively clean. They do keep the play area room door open so there is constant shrieks from the kids playing. Also, the smell of the play room is abhorrent and with the door constantly open you get a whiff of it every now and then. The food came out quick and it was good, for McDonalds standards. I will never return to this location. I have lived in this area for 5 years and have returned to this location mutiple times.my experiences here have never been that great but yesterday my Mother and I with my children came in. We ordered our food and they got it wrong we asked for them to read it back and got it read back wrong. So when we got the receipt and saw an extra Happy meal was given we told them we didn't want it. The extremely unprofessional and rude woman behind the counter had to call a manager to key in to return money to us and proceeded to tell her manager in Spanish that we were bitches for not taking food we didn't want. i have to say mine and my boyfriend's experiences with most mcdonalds workers arent the nicest. And i was really craving a nice mc chicken and i was short only a dollar whenever i asked devin if he could add on another mcchicken (the window worker) and he told me he wanted me to have that mcchicken and pulled out HIS OWN WALLET. best window working skills ive ever seen. he made me and my boyfriend both smile and we will most definitely have to be back for another mcchicken soon ! When I went in with a mobile order that my husband had done up his phone because of a previous issue with another McDonald's they refused to accept the mobile order. They told me it was not in their system even though I showed multiple team members the screen that said that the order was there and the address being correct. Then a person im assuming was a manager or assistant manager came up and told me that he couldn't do it even though it said that the order was already there and completed so when I asked him what are they going to do when my card get charged for this order he just didn't even say anything he just shrugged his shoulders and turned around. I brought my nieces here. The play area is really small. We order our food and I was lucky to get a table in the play area. Once I walked in omg! They don't have the AC on it's a hot day, today in Bakersfield. It's smells like an animal shelter in the play air and very hot. I walk out went back in to the main dining area. I don't know how people could actually eat in their. If I could rate this a zero I would, bad experience in the play area for these kids to play in. I was surprised when my friend got his order already and my coffee was still MIA.
