I hate to be this guy but I ordered in the drive thru. All I got was a couple McMuffins and 2 coffees. They gave me my food and asked me to pull forward and wait a moment while I get the drinks out. I had no problem with that, but I waited in the spot after the drive thru for 21 minutes this morning and the only thing I was waiting on was 2 coffees. 21 minutes for 2 coffees. I'm giving 5 stars because of my experience last night! I went through the drive thru and ordered four cheeseburgers but instead called them Krabby Patties. The girl who took my order went along with my Spongebob reference and asked if I wanted a kelp shake or a kelp fry with my krabby patties. I have never successfully made it through this drive through without being asked to park on the side, or on the stalls, or in the front, or on the roof...honestly what's the deal. We stopped by at this Mc Donalds store #2642 on our way to Palm Springs today 7/4/19. I understand today is a holiday but it should never be the excuse for disgusting attitude of a team member and poor service provided. We put in our order at the kiosk, our order number was 694 and the table number was 37. We were aware from the screen that our order is supposed to be served to our table but First, there were no table numbers at the kiosk for us to take, which means someone did not do their job. When we had asked the drive-thru associate who was the only one I can find, she told us to take the plastic number our self at the register with-out even looking at us. Second, our order was not served to the table but it was called at the to-go pick-up area (mind you, our order was EAT-IN, as we selected at the kiosk and it states in our order. But the worst part about this restaurant is, the female employee who was working the drive-thru at the time 9:05am, who's name starts with a 'S' was absolutely rude when we had asked for some napkins because there were none out in the napkin cases, which Again, means somene did not do their job. When we asked, she gave me an index finger meaning, Wait, with a nasty attitude. I did not come to this restaurant and paid my own money for our meal and the terrible service. The type of attitude we received was certainly not what was expected at a Mc Donalds at this time and age and this was the worst experience I ever had at any restaurant. My money and time was definitely wasted here today. This is my first negative review on Yelp. I think the morning store manager ROCKS! There is no doubt this is a busy store every morning but I still go every morning on my way to work. I observe her giving the best customer service by knowing what needs to be done and jumping in to help a staff member keep up with the busy pace. Worst. McDonald's. EVER. Seriously, this place is run like crap and the employees are rude idiots. They somehow messed up my order despite me repeating it, slowly, 3 times. When I walked up to the counter to tell one of the employees my order was wrong, she said she couldn't help me because she did drive-thru only and walked away. The next person that came up was an overweight manager with red hair that went and got the rest of my order but kept insisting the soft serve with a teaspoon of Oreo crumbs I was given was a McFlurry and she would not make me a new one until my boyfriend leaned over and said "could you at least mix the damn thing?" Ok so when my kids were younger we loved Mc Donald's in banning but slowly the staff changed and the food quality dropped, so we stopped going. Only recently did we start visiting again and I have to say for the most part I have been very satisfied. The burgers are hot, the frappe delicious the only complaint I have is the consistency in the fries is never the same. I love that there are deals to be had. This is probably the worst McDonald's I've been to. I just moved to town and this is the closest place for me to satisfy my Big Mac and fries cravings. I honestly just love McDonald's and I go three or four times a week. Not here though. Frankly, I think the owner has failed to provide training because this restaurant simply is not representative of the McDonald's dining experience. Fully 1/3 of my drive through visits have resulted in my having to pull over in the parking lot and wait for my food. I seriously only ever order a Big Mac and a small fry. In fact, it's not uncommon to have two or three vehicles waiting for food in parking spaces because the staff is unable to serve orders in a timely fashion. We stopped here for breakfast twice. The first time it looked very dirty to me but I didn't say anything to my husband so his appetite wouldn't be spoiled. The following week I took a good look at the tables & the counter while we were waiting. They were filthy - probably from the day before. She had her back to the public most of the time. One person working the register. He was so clueless I don't know how anyone would hire him. HORRIBLE!! Stopped on way home from the outlets wanted something easy for long ride home. Food was stale and cold. Fries and chicken strips tasted like it had been made a long time before. Ordered 2 meals and two 6 piece chicken nugget happy meals. They ask us to wait in front for our food and when they brought it I counted our meals and our two happy meals. We got all the way home to realize there was NO chicken nuggets in either of our kids happy meals! Try telling two picky eater toddlers they don't have the main part of their meal to eat. Fries weren't fresh, table was not clean, soda tasted off, dining room ketchup not working and no cups for the ketchup as well, and if it was out due to poor inventory skills still not valid excuse because we were not offered ketchup. Sandwich was at least fresh tho lettuce was a bit edging on the wilted side. Both teas were expired by many hours and the one I tried to dispense had nothing coming out. This is the worst McDonald's I have ever been to, which is unfortunate since it's the closest one to me. For the past month or so I have been going to this McDonald's periodically trying to get a hot fudge Sunday and am told every single time "I'm sorry my ice cream machine is down right now". I'm starting to think they just don't serve ice cream there anymore. Also, for the past 3 days they have only been accepting cash, which I would understand if the machines were out for the evening but for 3 days?! The management is aware of these issues and is complacent in trying to fix the problems. One last thing that isn't really an "issue" per say but is annoying is that they have a sign by the drive thru that says they deliver with Uber eats, but Uber eats isn't even available in Banning yet. False advertisement. I would suggest going to another McDonald's for sure. read more
