Before the pandemic started It was really rough for McDonald's at the time, they had good times and bad times. For the bad times they would sometimes the thing that we ordered didn't come with what we expected. I had times where employees just wanting to get over with my order and just get paid, also they would sometimes forget the simplest items for the orders. Lastly for the good times, they would be very quick and the food I expected is great. It's not bland or anything like other McDonald's in the state of California. Absolute worst service I've ever received at ANY fast food place. I came through the drive through and ordered my meal correctly and double checked it on the screen. We didn't receive our fries, which I understood as I work in food service and things happen. Then I noticed we didn't get our sauce, again, I went back in and politely asked for the sauce I had purchased. I then noticed that the two burgers I ordered had nothing except big mac sauce on them (I ordered them with no ketchup or mustard and added big mac sauce). They are supposed to come with pickles and onions as well so at that point, I just wanted a refund. I politely explained the situation and that I wasn't interested in them remaking any food. Since we didn't bring our drinks in, the manager working at 10:00PM on June 5th only refunded our food. Which wasn't an issue until she snatched the bag out of my boyfriend's hand and told us to leave. We said "aren't you throwing it away anyways?" and she proceeded to say "Yes, get out." Alrighty! Here we go again guys! So I decided after my first review to give these guys another shot in the morning time. Well.. it was 10:29 when I came in and the Kiosk was not working both of them. I stood there for 5-10 minutes with a glitching system so the male employee said I could help you right here so I went up to him and tried to put in my McDonald's code for points there system was not working on there end. He talked to the manager in which was no help at all. At this point I think they should of found a way to honor my deal and points but they did not they just stood there and expected me to pay full price. Customer service is so bad a lot of the time these days and McDonald's seems to be one of the worse. I never used to have issues but that was about 10 + years ago when food and service was quality. Again only because I'm required the Ambiance was the same just with more McDonald's problems. Seems to me they need to go through there hiring process better to find people who care. I don't usually write reviews for Mcds because you have to expect they are all pretty shitty...but this one in particular I came through the drive-thru for a 6 pc tender combo. They ask me to pull to the side and after 20 minutes , they finally came out with my food BUT they only give me the 6 pc tenders by itself. I had to show them a receipt to let them minimum wage fools know that I got a combo. Again, I don't usually complain about fast food joints cuz you shouldn't expect much from them anyway but THIS GOTTA BE THE WORST experience yet.. I was in this place about two minutes before thinking to myself "well, this place is getting two stars on Yelp." The first thing I did when entering is use the kiosk to order my meal. There were a couple of steps that were confusing, but it wasn't too bad. The biggest annoyance was when I got to the part where I had to tell the kiosk what sauces I want. I clicked honey mustard, then enter, then I was asked AGAIN what sauce I wanted. I assume this is in case people want different kinds of sauce, which is fine, but the kiosk allows you to choose four different sauces, so if you only want one, you have to hit "no sauce" three times in order to move forward with your order. I should be able to just hit "no sauce" once and move on. When finished, the kiosk told me to grab a table tent. I had no idea what it was talking about (a table tent???) until I finally realized it was telling me to grab one of those plastic placards that have a number on them so your waiter/waitress knows who you are. It also said to walk up to the counter to retrieve your beverage. I walked up and was completely ignored for a couple of minutes, which is an eternity in the service industry. One employee looked right at me for a few seconds, but kept walking and never said a word. Another employee was walking around behind the counter, looking very busy, but never even said "be right with you" or anything like that. Zero acknowledgement of my presence. Was I supposed to interrupt them to get their attention, or keep standing there, being ignored like some idiot? They finally gave me my food, but the guy who gave it to me STILL refused to acknowledge me. I wasn't even sure if the food he placed in front of me on the counter was mine. I ended up just grabbing it (since I'm pretty sure it was mine) and I sat down to eat. The final nail in the coffin was when I went to use the restroom. They have the restrooms locked with a keypad. Huge pet peeve of mine. I prefer to be treated like a customer, not a criminal. Keep your bathroom doors unlocked, period. I don't care if you're having a problem with homeless people trashing the bathrooms. Plenty of other fast food places have their bathrooms unlocked, yet the store somehow survives. Don't inconvenience your customers for the sake of your own convenience. The cherry on top was the play area. I came here specifically because they have a play area, and I wanted my two-year-old to run around and do kid stuff. For some reason, this McDonald's has three touch screen monitors with video games to play. I got my kid out of the house to get her away from screens and electronics. Get that stuff out of there McDonald's! Especially knowing what we know now, about how damaging screens can be to a young child's developing brain. This location needs a major overhaul. Staff needs better training (and better attitudes). Bathrooms doors need to be unlocked as to not make customers (like me) feel like criminals. Finally, get rid of the touch screen monitors, that way your playpen can be an actual playpen, not a video game pen. The kiosk is a bit confusing, but this is probably a McDonald's wide problem and not a problem isolated to this one store. Either way, I seriously doubt I'll be coming back here again. read more

If there was a way to not give them a star I would. They lacked customer service from start to finish. When we ordered our food, I specifically said no bun, the gentleman taking the order even repeated it. So let's start with the special request, for 1 I asked to add mushrooms to my bacon McDouble as you can see no mushrooms, I pay for them whatever. I'll ask for a large fry.. drive 2 miles home I get there and there's no large fry but there's an extra Burger it's like they have one job to do, the cooks cook ,and the guy at the window make sure everything's in the bag and he or she can't even do that . My advice to anybody in the East Bay :Antioch or Pittsburg stay away from Bailey road McDonald's. Drive the extra distance and go to Concord or even the Antioch Mahogany Rd McDonald's !
