I'm not excusing mediocrity or substandard behavior but I'm saying, you know what time it is, boo boo. I come here when I'm jonesin' on a Saturday around 1 P.M. and they treat me sweetly, they keeps it real and they churn out a good venti black iced coffee. Anyways, this store could have so much potential due to being the only SB location in the Bay Point Pittsburgh area at this time. The next closet spot would be Rail Road Ave. Mind you, this location serves the San Marcos area as well so you already know it gets busy. Stopped here for a match green tea Frappuccino. First, the barista said they couldn't make it in a frap form, so I said that an iced matcha green tea latte would be okay. So, I place my order and go to the end to get my drink. I notice that my drink that is supposed to be very green, is lighter than a pastel green. So I ask the barista for more matcha powder and she says "oh that's all the match I had so I made it that way". Instead of asking me if I wanted another drink because they were out, she instead served me a poorly made drink. Then, her coworker proceeds to say that there is matcha left, she just didn't even go look for it. So, finally after a few minutes she remakes my drink. The customer service at this location is terrible. They consistently prioritize tasks over helping their customers, which creates long lines and long wait times for beverages. However, the interaction with the baristas is even worse. Often times, they are annoyed to even be serving customers. This unfortunately makes the experience extremely uncomfortable. For example, Gideon, the newer barista on shift today, was very impolite when I asked how his day was going. After not receiving a response, he ripped my payment out of my hands (not an exaggeration). I was very disappointed by this interaction, and I wanted the barista to be held accountable. However, after calling the customer service line, I was swiftly disconnected. This is unfortunate because it leads me to believe that I am expected to give up and not express my complaint. Overall, the only time that I've had a positive experience at this location is when the district manager was present. The baristas were perky and efficient, which is not an accurate representation of how they function altogether. read more

Bad customer service. These two girls I always see here working dont seem like they know what they're doing. They're always chatting instead of trying to get their drinks right for the customers! Came in for a green tea frappe,now I was a barista for 4+ years I know how to make my green tea anything.. so when I tell you this girl poured half the bag of matcha in the blender, I'm not lying.
