I visited the MacArthur Blvd location in Bourne MA just now 2/13/25 @ 12:30 pm for lunch and when I went to eat one of my Quarter Pounders with cheese, I started choking. When I reached into my mouth and pulled out what I was choking on, I was shocked to see that they had cooked the paper that seperated the frozen burger patties into the burger!!?? I tried calling the location with the number listed on their website to make them aware of this and no one picked up. I then received a voice message that the "mailbox was full" so here I am. 1 star because I can't give it zero stars. I don't usually review place but if you're reading this I highly recommend not stopping here. This McDonalds location McSucks plain and simple. Every now and then I stop here for breakfast and... to me surprise the drive thru is always McEmpty (Which is odd because the Dunks next door always has heavy traffic)/ You'd think with an empty drive thru line you'd get your food pretty quick, but you end up at the menu for about 5 minutes before someone takes your order. Meanwhile I'll watch the Dunks line diminish while I sit, the only vehicle, waiting to even be ordered on. Once they take your order the food comes out quick but today I had somewhat of a minty aftertaste after eating my breakfast sandwich which means whoever made it probably spat in it. (Wonderful) It's a shame because this is a great location for a commercial business being right on McMacArthur blvd. being next to a gas station in a tourist location. And I really don't wanna rash on employees who make minimum wage to sign their life away to Ronald McDonald-- this is clearly a sign that the management/ franchise owner here doesn't McUnderstand the potential of their location or doesn't care... and the emptiness of the parking lot opposed to the line outside the business next to them speaks McVolumes. I would be embarrassed if I owned this place and saw the other yelp reviews here. Last night after driving home from Boston I felt like I needed a snack, so I decided to drop in at this McDonalds to grab a four piece nugget. From the moment I pulled up to the drive thru I should have recognize the signs, but I ended up staying to order my food. There was one car in front of me which sat at the speakers for a good 3 minutes until someone took her order. As they were ordering their food the employees were being sarcastic and rude to the customer. When it came to be my turn to order, I also sat at the speaker for a few minutes and had a similar experience. After being told to move up, the waiting game began. I sat at the pickup window for at least 10 minutes for a four piece nugget. When they finally gave me my food they didn't apologize for the wait and actually were joking around instead of working. I am all about having fun at work, but after waiting 20 minutes for no food I think it was a bit excessive. In the end, this isn't the first time I have had an experience like this and I don't doubt that it would be the same if I returned in the future. Moral of the story, if you have the chance, stop at another McDonald's location. read more

I came here with my daughter and ordered our meal through the kiosk. We got our meal fairly quickly. An older man came in and waited there for more than 15 mins to get help as he was being ignored by the woman. Another woman came from I'm guessing the drive through window to take his order at the counter. Another older man was waiting behind him but the girl walked away and left him there waiting. Again, everyone just ignored him. He got frustrated and went behind the counter to see if there was someone who could help him place his order. Then he got yelled at by the people making burgers in the back telling hiM he couldn't be back there and that he needed to use the kiosk. I realize this is just a McDonald's and it's not fine cuisine, but even for the relatively low expectations of a fast food restaurant, this is abysmal. I stopped through the drive through on a Sunday afternoon. I gave my order. There were no special requests. I go to pay, the cashier had me tell him my order. He then gave me my drink and receipt. I sat there for about 5 minutes, then he told me to pull ahead and someone would bring my order out. I did that. I then waited 20 minutes and no one came. I went inside to get my food. I then waited another 5 minutes to get my order. They gave me a card for a discount when I return. No thanks. No apology, no explanation. Don't bother with this place. There isn't much negative you can find in a classic McDonald's, the food was good. The customer service was wonderful. But while waiting for my food, I couldn't help but notice a woman in the kitchen giving an attitude to the other workers. I felt sympathy to those who had to deal with her, and those who were kind to me amidst the toxicity. I believe her name was Stephanie, but the way she communicated with her co-workers were not it. She was raising her voice, responding venomously to simple questions. I hope this goes noticed, no one deserves to deal with difficult people in a workplace like McDonalds. Waited in line at the drive through about 5 mins behind cars, usual. Got up to the window paid for my food and they gave me my drink, pretty standard. Well, seeing all the other one star reviews doesn't surprise me at all. We went through the drive through, got two quarter pounder meals, one was supposed to be a deluxe and one artisan bacon something or other. We were hungry so I parked, and opened up my the kids quarter pounders, they looked pretty bad, cheese half off the patty, and barely and ketchup or mustard. I dunno what constitutes a "deluxe", but there was nothing deluxe about either of them. Oh well, I don't expect much from McDs but then opened my bacon burger; no bacon. Took it back inside, the manager apologised and told a cook to make another one. The cook looked indignant and said something back, didn't hear what though. She and another cook who was back there very obviously didn't give a rats rear about what they were doing. Moving slow, just kinda chillin' as they "worked". Several minutes later, the manager bagged my new burger, a Bacon Smokehouse, and I checked that at the counter. This one did have bacon. One piece that was one inch long and another piece that was two inches long. A total of maybe half a piece of bacon. I laughed out loud and showed another customer. I showed the manager and asked him if that was all the bacon you get in their top of the line bacon burger, and he sheepishly offered a refund. (He was reasonably polite but looked like he was barely keeping his head above water). I would've taken the refund but I had left my wallet in the car, was pretty disgusted at that point and just wanted to leave, so I did. $30 for three TERRIBLE burgers, and the most bland tasteless fries I've ever had. I gave mine to our chickens. My wife is an officer in the Mass ANG at JBCC. I've made sure she knows to spread the word the the McDonalds on Rt. 28 is the worst ever. I dunno why this place is so historically awful, but must be very, very poorly run. read more

Rip Off!!! Their breakfast meals show a picture with orange juice. If you order with coffee instead, they don't give you the discounted price, they give you it as a "substitution" - same price as the orange juice. The "Value" meal costs over a dollar more than if you ordered the items separately. When I asked about it they said they don't tell people unless they complain!!!!. This happened twice! If there was something less than 1 star I would have used it. Drove into parking lot there were at least 10 cars in drive through, so my son who only had 30 minutes for a supper break went inside. While waiting I parked by the drive thru window. Nobody was moving, nobody was getting any food and everybody was really upset. Of the food that was served it went back because it was raw or wrong. One guy got so upset he sped past the line and ran into restaurant to complain, that's when the cops showed up to calm customers down. This place is bad news, they can't keep help, no workers ever show up and the food suffers. It's a nightmare to stop in there between angry customers and I don't care employees. The owners of this McDonald's should shut their doors to retrain and re staff before something bad happens or someone gets sick from food poisoning. In the end we left after the cops showed up. We waited 30 minutes for no food and no refund. Stay away from this McDonalds they consistently suck!!! read more
