Great place to go if you're working on your counting skills cause if you ordered 4 sandwiches, this place always forces you to check your bag to make sure they gave you 4. How come they never accidently give you something extra? They ALWAYS leave something out. This place is also great if you enjoy you egg mcmuffins barely room temp with stale english muffins. Say what you will about the food, but most McDonalds work very efficiently like a well oiled machine. These guys are what you need. They are not perfect; sometimes the service sucks, sometimes the price is wrong, etc, but if you need a specific McD order at 4 am, they got you. Make sure you say it 100% right at the window and have an idea on what it should cost. Any hesitation you have and theyll super ignore you. Last night I drunkenly requested my uber take me to McDonalds. I got us both a double cheeseburger, large fries and chocolate milkshake. When I got my card back the man who ran it broke my debit card in half when putting it in the chip reader.... so now I have no card. When I said what the f to the manager she said I mean what do you want me to do about it. They also forgot my milkshake and obviously being a good citizen I gave it to my uber driver for sticking up for me when McDonald's did nothing about my debit card. To be honest though my double cheeseburger was a 10/10. Keep grilling master patties but Jesus, gentle with our money. read more

I can't believe the positive reviews for this location. Firstly, it's McD's. No Mickeys should get more than 4 stars. The location down the street near the supermarket I think is much better. They have better prices for the same food. The big negative for this location - the staff is hopeless. I notice there have been no reviews for months so maybe there was a changeover. I can never understand what the hell the woman who normally works weekdays is saying... I know they have a script to follow and she probably is bored having to say it each time, but she tries to cram 18 words into one in some accent I can't even place... let alone understand. The only staff member who gives this location its second star is the really nice old lady who works the counter. She's really sweet. The worst is the latenight experience... obviously it's where all the drunken drivers go. And the lines are horrendously long. The thing I really hate is how they make you order ridiculously huge double quarter pounder with cheese type burgers - you can't order from the regular menu. They make people get out of their vehicles to walk up to the door to find it locked with the sign saying dining room open till 2 am. With no other sign saying sorry that dining room is closed. I. Am. Appalled. This McDonald's does not live to up the Ronald McDonald standard. The staff is not only rude when taking your order, but they are completely incapable of getting that order right. On multiple occasions (10, I've counted) they have either "forgotten" to include something in my bag, given me the wrong item, or completely messed up the entire order. Multiple times they've given me just the bacon when I ordered a bacon egg and cheese McGriddle, and apparently they don't know the difference between a McMuffin and a sausage, egg and cheese in a biscuit. I get it, this is a not a five star establishment, but that means that it should be even EASIER to get a customer's order right. I've been a huge McDonald's supporter over the years, a loyal customer while traveling and while in the states. I'm SO sad that I have to live next to THIS particular McDonald's, because they just ruin my experience every single time. Not sure if it's a lack of experience or pure carelessness, but things need to change. Please make the appropriate changes to see that you put smiles not frowns on your customers' faces. read more

Consistently the BEST McDonald's I have ever been to...and I've been to quite a bit all over this land. They have flat screen tvs and the service is always pleasant. The restaurant is always CLEAN and I have yet to find it to be crowded. The drive through never gets my order wrong. Their dollar menu is lovely and they have a few outside picnic benches when you want to dine al fresco. I love their soft serve cones, if you dig up some spare change you can get one too! read more

I've never eaten any of the food @ this location, but I stopped in yesterday for an iced coffee + wanted to make sure I reviewed the great cashier. Not only was he friendly, but he walked over to the wall to use the hand sanitizer before making my coffee (which was excellent, by the way....). I stopped into this McDonald's the other day on my way to a doctor's appointment, as I was starving and sick and just needed a chicken sandwich to cure my soul. I don't usually eat McDonald's, maybe every other month or so, usually less. And I don't usually write Yelp reviews, but this location was by and far the nicest McDonald's I've ever been in, and I was having such a crappy day that it just made a big difference. Everyone who worked there was so nice and friendly, and smiled and seemed like...genuinely happy (what is that!) Also my meal was straight out of a McD's ad - perfect looking, perfect tasting, and the fries were warm and just salty enough and not too cooked....literally peak McDonald's. According to Fast Food Nation they cut so much of the cow apart and so fast that the some of the digestive track usually gets cut up in the meet in fast food places especially like McDonalds, so they have to put things in it to sterilize it. So the next time your sitting down eating your Big Mac and you say to yourself, "Hey what is that special ingredient that makes it so good?" you know now.... its crap and fantastic. Wow! I never thought McDonalds could get any worse! Today I walked in to a local McDonalds. I ordered my usual. The NOTHING burger, because they're disgusting. The Mc donalds in the Crestview mall has to be one of the few restaurants which is very unsanitary. I have had issues with them but what happened tonight at their restaurant the public needs to know. About a week ago I went through their drive through I ordered 3 mc doubles no pickles a medium fries and I was supposed to have a replacement order of a sandwich because previously they did not get the order right I don't eat that processed cheese and someone gave me the burger with cheese in it. Mind you my son loves his burger with the cheese but he already had 3 burgers for himself in case anyone wants to say that maybe he would eat it. No my burger was thrown out and I had to eat something from my refridgerator. I called the Crestview Mc donalds and they said next time they would replace a burger for me and they would upgrade from a hamburger to a sandwich with a small fries.Two nights ago I went through the drive through late night again. I ordered the same for my son and ordered a quarter pounder without cheese. When I got home and started eating I found a long hair hanging out of the burger right away I ran to the garbage and spit out what was in my mouth. Once again I could not eat my burger. I called Mc donalds again and the first thing I said to the person who answered the phone was that which one of you all have long dark hair. The female who answered said there were a few of them.I told her about the hair once again she said that they would replace the order. Tonight my son called me and he wanted burgers again March the 29th at about 11:30 pm I once again went through the drive through at the Crestview Mc donalds here on Portage. Once again I was asking for my replacement order and my sons order one employee came to the window and started mouthing me off that they are not going to be giving me any replacement order. The same mouthy one said to me that every time I buy a burger something is wrong with it. Then one other employee tried to resolve things asking me what I wanted because my son wanted his burgers I phoned him to tell him what the mouthy idiot just told me. Thats when my son told me that I didnt throw away the burger and fries from two days ago. So I still purchased his order and dropped it off for him. I collected the remains of the burger and all the fries were still there. I took it back to the female at the first window. I heard her comment she's back. You see These racial set of people thought I wanted free food. So I brought back your nasty hairy burger for you. One fool asked me for the hair. I had to tell the fool when I found the hair do you think I was going to play with it. It's an automatic reaction to get rid of it by flinging it. I didn't know I was supposed to crawl on the floor to look for it fool. So Mc donalds at the Crestview restaurant the food inspector should be visiting you. One of the females asked me what I wanted at that time do you really believe that I would still want anything from them. As far as I am concerned they have verbally abused me. The mouthy one is a big coward because she went into hiding. I told them I wanted an apology but she hid for the time I was there and up to now I have not gotten my replacement from the mouthy racist who was serving tonight. In fact they asked to keep the burger and fries the hairy one my son did take a picture of it with the time. Maybe the one who was mouthing me off is accustomed trying to get freebies and that is why she thinks the next person is just like her.
