I grew up going to this one and almost every McDonalds has done this by now, but they redid this one and it's super modern-looking inside. I love the way McDonald's used to look but this one is very clean and updated, with lots of seating. We had a large order and got our food within a reasonable time. Been living in area for over 10 years so I use to go buy coffee everyday and so I would sit and drink my coffee and scroll my messages, email etc . So like after 3weeks I went in and asked for coffee and they told me there was none and I just passed people in the park drinking coffee so I went back like that afternoon and they said that they had no coffee. So I went back the next day morning and noon and same thing no coffee, next day same thing no coffee. I guess they thought I was homeless and vagrant so they cut me off. The manager is a Spanish lady named Maria, nasty nasty attitude and demeanor... That was like a year ago. So I go in this morning and I order a small coffee same nasty manager she orders a medium so I paid for it and just walked out because I felt a the nastiness of her attitude spewing out $2.50 down the drain some people are just so miserable.... Life is fickle and fleeting, people please treat people with dignity no matter their station in life because just because you have a job, money or are doing okay in these hard times. Just ordered a crispy chicken sandwich & the outside bites were cooked, but once I bit into it further..it was undercooked! Hard, chewy, bad texture, not edible. And the middle was SO raw! Crazy thing is, I debated on ordering the chicken sandwich or a Big Mac b/c this has happened before, but I assumed it would be cooked, so I ordered a chicken sandwich. The night shift mcemployees are lazy and ghetto. I had the manager (big lgbtq Latino dude) literally say "shut the fk up" under his breath to me at the drive thru window while I was trying to explain to them how they messed up my order . LOVELY SERVICE! I went on Thursday October 19th at night and was happily surprised at how nice the manager and employees were. I had ordered a bucket of the cookies which caused us to wait 30 minutes however the manager sincerely apologized and made up for it with some extra food which was not necessary but happily accepted! Oh my I have NEVER seen an employee with that kind of audacity. I pull up to the speaker and no one says anything. Seeing the amount of ppl in the line I figured they are just catching up. During this time I'm on my phone trying to get the app to work but it kept buffering. So after 5 mins I decide "forget the app, just order" so I say hello the employee responds "heLlO" with so much attitude, like when you wake someone up from deep sleep. I have many great memories at this McDonald's. I still remember staying up all night as a student at BC and coming here with friends early in the morning to get breakfast food. I can go on and on about the countless sausage burritos I consumed here as a broke single grad student BUT I am not here to talk about that. I am here to talk about... "The Voice." Yeah, that's right. Tonight after a heavy meal at a local Korean restaurant I decided I needed something sweet to balance all the spice and meat I had just consumed. So, of course we decided to get ice cream from McDonald's. As soon as we hit the drive-thru we were greeted with this AMAZING voice. Holy schnitzels this guy sounded like he belongs on the radio. He was friendly, polite and his voice was so smooth and soothing at the same time. I just froze in my tracks because I was so captivated by this baritone beast's melodic waves (euphemism for his voice). Anyway, we drove to the window and that dude, "The Voice" greeted us and he sounded just as amazing in person! I told him he should be on the radio and he said that this is what he is aspiring to. McDonald's, GIVE THIS DUDE A RAISE SO HE CAN QUIT THIS JOB AND GET HIS VOICE ON THE RADIO. THIS MAN'S VOICE NEEDS TO BE HEARD!!!!!!!!! Now having been to several 2 window fast food locations I dont ask for my receipt because I know from prior experience that the next window usually gives it to me... So I get to the next window & the chick throws the Ice Cream & Cookies at me... I ask for a receipt & the Man (who I believe was the Mgr) looks at me puzzled and says "Ooh we dont have that capability, Next time if you want one you need to ask for one at that window & points"... i am LIVID... Are you kidding me, not only do you have the lack of sense to tell me you dont have that capability but then blame it on me for not asking.... Most restaurants have some thing like if we dont offer you a receipts its free... I was soo mad, I yelled back & then drove off & knew I would just come here & review it...
