Its been months since i went back to McDonald's for anything, and its only for breakfast..no cars in line, cool..ordered number 1 with a coke..easy..got to the window..gave dude my card..took them 4 times to try and swipe it.. (brand new 2 weeks ago, stripe is solid)..anyways, no big deal..its done..8 minutes goes by, says my egg for the mcmuffin has to be cooked..long time to wait, especially with me being the only customer in the drive thru..get my stuff..pull up to check the bag..got a cold hard-as-a-brick hashbrown as well as 2 lukewarm plain biscuits..i wanted to throw it thru the window..took another 10 minutes to simply get my $ back..left the bag of cold rocks on the counter..never again to this location..this is the last time I ever goto this Restaurant read more

Even for a McDonald's, it's pretty bad. I've lived in Calera for a few years now. I have, literally, never spent less than 10 minutes in the drive though. 15-20 minutes seems to be the average. Plus, when you get there, you'll get cold, over-salted fries and sloppily assembled burgers. You need to REALLY want McDonald's and have nowhere else to be for a while to put up with this place. read more

Your employees are very rude and like to ignore the customers. I went up to get ketchup & barbecue sauce, and waited for 20 minutes. Three employees walked by me and looked at me and didn't even ask what I needed. And then when I finally do get the condiments I asked for he bring me ketchup in a chicken nugget box! Rude manager fight us over a bug that came out of the ice dispenser... cashier so rude... sloppy clothing and scratches her scalp continuously over an open beverage she was preparing... we say customer is always right and manager said NO sneering... the place stinks near the soda dispenser.... sticky floors and flies. When we showed the manager there is a bug on our cup he just threw the ice and bug and gave the SAME dent cup back to us... We will report this to the Health department so kids will not get sick. Absolutely disgusting! Every single table was dirty. Floors even dirtier. Every garage disposal was dirty. The bathrooms were... not terrible but the toilet paper was not even on the roll, they had is stacked on a garbage can. Another customer had his kids In the play area when one of them had an accident. He went directly to the front to tell staff... nobody from the staff bothered to go look or clean.. other children continued to play in the play place. A birthday party was evening coming in. We waited for a while to get our food. They skipped over us and we finally had to go ask where our food was and she get it ready. Had to tell her a few times we needed hash browns... there was more then enough staff to handle all of these tasks. Just visited Calera Alabama McDonald's, very unsatisfied with a professionalism that crew had towards telling me they were closed even though it's a 24-hour McDonald's. I'm come through Calera about the same time everyday and this was a first. The young lady through a intercom inform me "closed" with a tone I can only describe as if she didn't want to be there, very rude very very unprofessional. After dozens of trips to this place over the years I would say that they get my order exactly right about 10% of the time. It would be nice if I received more than I ordered but that has never happened. I always receive less than I paid for. Don't dare take it back or you'll spend half an hour waiting because they get to your problem after all other customers have been served. I recently moved to Calera. I work overnights and went by this McDonalds around 2am and was told the "system was down" but that they were not closed. Employees were seen inside eating at a table. Figured it was a network or PC error. Went by a couple nights later at 3am. Told the same thing. Employees again seen sitting in the lobby. Went again around 145 this last time, system is down. When I asked for more information, it's met with a frustrated response. I emailed the manager whose information is on the windows and was ignored. Got there close to midnight and was served cold food. This is up there with the worst McDonald's I've been to. Shame it's the only place "open" late. read more

Men's restroom was out of order, restaurant was very dirty, only like 3 tables were clean enough to sit at, no one was wiping them down after customers left. The drink area smelled sour and disgusting. I watched like 8 people come in and leave when they saw that they couldn't use the restroom before ordering. One man used the woman's restroom. All of this was at about 11am on a Sunday, before the rush. No excuse. A manager or an owner should be embarrassed. read more

They take forever to get your food out. The place is dirty and the employee just stand around doing nothing. they will ring you up for the wrong food and still want you to pay even though that not what you order. The employee would go and sit down and talk about paying customers. Of all the McDonald's i have been to, to this one is the worst. Disgusting!! I'm not a huge fan of McDonald's food to begin with, but most of the facilities are clean and pleasant. We stopped here because of the indoor play area and our toddler was getting restless. Every table was filthy, the floor was sticky, and the restrooms were almost unusable. The worst facility I have EVER been in that was allowed to serve food. My son didn't even get a toy in his "happy meal", because they were out. read more

This place is horrible!! Staff and management!!! Never order a quarter pounder or double quarter pounder, that is suppose to be freshly cooked when you order one. They pull it out of a warming tray and tell you it's fresh. Even if you order it through the drive-thru and they put pickles on it when you specifically ordered it without(even on the receipt). Had to go back inside and stood there and watched them pull the meat out of the tray after the manager told me it was being freshly cooked. I called him out in it, all he he had to say is that it would be nice and hot. Every time I go there, which is probably once every two months, my order is wrong. The employees are always joking around with each other and never doing their job. IT'S MCDONALD'S, THE JOB ISN'T THAT HARD!!! Very unsatisfied and would highly recommend going hungry before visiting this location. They act like their job is to have fun and act like idiots instead of actually doing their job. simple thing 12 breakfast burritos 12 hash browns go thru window guy hands a bag out I ask is that everything? yes sir only they left out the 12 hash browns but lets give them a raise for doing such good work sick of getting poor service and everyone talking about pay. If you cant fill a bag with hash browns you cant get paid. Tried to call store to let them know did not answer the phone. I know no cares but for the 13 bucks I threw away I feel better read more
