Wow Horrible Customer Service by Daniel and Cashier which she didn't give me her name ( Cause both of them had no name tags) at Mc Donald's 20315 S. I don't normally do reviews on fast food chains but my experience here was BEYOND bad. You go to these types of places for FAST food. The order was taken, and yeah they were "only accepting cash". It's fine I've been here before and had to pay only cash before and only had card so I was prepared this time. My order took 40 minutes just to get to the window. No exaggeration I was keeping time because I wanted to be someplace before it closed. I was then told after paying to wait for my meal after parking. I park and go inside and I request condiments and that was taking care of promptly. However the food took an extra 20 minutes to be received. So, to receive 3 hamburgers and 2 large fries it took an hour. That is beyond ridiculous and I wish I had got a receipt to call a phone number and complain but I didn't even get that. Needless to say I'm never going back here again. I'd rather drive down Avalon an extra mile to get FAST food.... read more

I had a job interview here, and right after my family wanted to order in to go. We ordered two frappes, 2 large fries and 40 mcnuggets. The order took a little over 10 minutes since we came around 2:30pm but we had to wait even longer for our frappes. The cashier asked what size, and we could have lied but my dad already ordered the biggest size. I'm getting a habit coming to this McDonalds not because of its service mainly how it seems to be ran by a single employee. I started coming late night about a month ago. I found parking in front of the restaurant and went inside for some mcdoubles 3 to be exact, Large French fries, and of course a Large drink. (Blame it on the tetrahydrocannabinol) Lol I dont mean to sound rude but I noticed the shortest female employee was literally running the busy drive thru, thus the reason why I decided to go inside. Walking in the cashier greeted me with nonsmile I get it is late everyone is tired. I pay with a 20 and get about 12 to 15 dollars back in change I get the short employee's attention and give her the 10 dollar bill I just got for change and tell her "you deserve a raise, your back and forth getting things done while others struggle to put a smile and just stand there doing nothing" I walked back out to my car to eat... even up until now this girl is awesome because she never loses her cool and is always greeting u with a smile even after having an exhausting day. I absolutely LOVE that it is one of the retro-type of McDonald's... even though it was only opened less than...maybe 5 or 6 years ago? It gets pretty busy during lunch and dinner time and sometimes the drive thru becomes completely packed! No worries though, the drive thru lines get short pretty quick. If you don't want to waste your gas, just park it and head inside! The dining area is always well-kept and clean. Unfortunately, some kids try to "make their mark" on tables (seriously? don't they have something better to do?!), but the staff tries to clean it up as quickly as possible. I ordered 3 of their parfiats and they looked like they had been sittting out for a while..so I asked if I could have fresh ones...Eric the manager was like no problem..it was super busy and the drive thru traffic was around almost out the driveway..all the staff was busy so he washed his hands and started on my order..althought it took him 10min..he provided drink and fries(large) for the wait w/out me saying anything..so I felt that was pretty cool since it was super busy and he still managed to fix my problem w/out compliant..good job read more

This is one of those retro-looking McDonald's that beckons you and your 1991 Mazda MPV full of kids to come enjoy the delights within. Same as basically every other McDonald's save for the following: Fast drive-thru with an extremely pleasant money-taking person Busy location so food basically tastes fresh at normal eating hours Clean facilities, inside and out. I inspect the area all around the drive-thru when I visit new fast food spots...and theirs only had ONE vermin catcher. So after a Chargers game, we were getting hungry so we stopped in to this McDonalds. I also needed to use the bathroom. Imagine my surprise when the stall in the men's room had no toilet paper, and instead, had napkins and a trash can. Not to mention some of the napkins were wet... The floor was also a mess. Then I ordered a large chocolate shake because I was craving one. Surprise! The machine wasn't working! It seems like 60% of the time I try to order a shake, the machine doesn't work. McDonalds, I would recommend fixing the problems with these machines and teaching your crew how to fix them as well. I want to point out Alfredo. Well i went to lunch on x mas eve and it was a big shit show. I was standing waiting for my drink because we were there for 30 min waiting for the drink machine to get fixed because the drink fountain were watered down.
