I would give 0 stars, but I'm not. I ordered a 5$ meal deal, girl yes I am struggling but I am hungry lol, my nuggets that came with it were absolutely disgusting. They were cold and left out for a while. I went in to get an exchange of nuggets, and ranch because they put none in my bag, she then proceeded to say with attitude, I put ranch in your bag. She indeed did not. Overall worst experience I have had at this location. In desperate need of new management. My friend ordered food and asked for 10 ranch, we were in the window and hear her scream "she's not going to get 10, she can get 2" when we had made an online order, and said we needed 10 ranch's. I ordered two large fries and they gave me two that were half filled and cold. About the same as a small fry.

Every time I come this this restaurant and it has almost no one in the parking lot they still have me pull to a parking spot for a number 3 . And every time I have eaten in, they have you selected number to put out your table that everyone is lazy as hell and just calls out your name and you have to come and get your food. By far the worst Customer Service I have seen in a long time. This would not be acceptable in the north. Very disappointing for the brand. read more

Heading to the Iron Bowl and wanting a little snack to tide (haha ... unintentional team call out) me over until I could meet up with friends to eat before the game. Running out of places to stop, I figured this was going to be one of my last 'quick' options. I ordered a hashbrown and a large Tropic Berry Sprite. The service was fine, nothing stood out as good or bad about it. The Hashbrown was actually pretty fresh and not overly greasy... I actually do crave one of those every once in awhile (I should be good again for awhile). I am a fan of Tropic Berry Sprite. I like that they mix it up a bit here and offer that, plus at $1 for a large drink it's hard to beat that as far as pricing goes. Good quick access made this a good selection. If you like McDonald's there really isn't anything wrong with this location and you will probably like this location just fine. read more

Cue the soap box. By all rules of every part of my being I don't eat at places like McDonald's unless I have very limited options. I was driving through the area and was dying of thirst so some friends and I stopped here. They forced me to try a bite of a fish filet and.....I liked it. I had to get that off of my chest. Otherwise, this McDonald's is moderately clean and fast as per usual. Their tea tasted a little old but hey it's only a dollar so I can't complain too much. The booths are really tiny here, so maybe the drive thru is the better option. The McIceCream or whatever those things are called are safe choices in my opinion. Consistently horrible. Fries are usually old and incredibly salty and greasy. Last time I got chicken nuggets I could barely bite through them because they were cold and had the consistency like they'd been sitting out for hours. They were completely inedible. Restaurant#24310 16758 Ushy 280 MER# 343977 After receiving my order on 11/20/2018 at 11:05am from the drive thru, in haste, I asked the female employee, "is everything in the bag correct?" She then looked my in the eyes and said, 'Yes sir.' I had a crying child in my back seat and took the young lady at her word. Only to find out when I drove miles back home and sat my child down for lunch, that they did not put my value meal in the bag (Double BCN Smoked meal). I called immediately and was politely asked to come back for the meal. I declined because it was before Thanksgiving and with the holiday could not make it back until today 11/23/18. Today 11/23/18 at 1:45pm I walked in with my nephew as there were no other customers in the restaurant with the exception of us two. The drive thru was quite busy, however, a manger (gentlemen) with a tie and V neck sweater on was behind the counter filling creamer in a container as I approached the counter. I nodded my head as did he without any verbal exchanges...Not 'Welcome to McDonalds, or how can I help you'. Within the 3 minutes I waited (again, no one else was in the restaurant) he looked over his shoulder multiple times waiting for someone else to come out from the back and take my order. During time he and I still exchanged eye contact and this manager continued gilling container with creamers..literally right in front of me. Apparently, it's more important for him to not stop what he's doing and take a customers order as the first point of contact. Finally I broke the silence as other customers began entering and I said, "Do you work here?" ( I could not see his name because he was wearing a v-neck sweater) I explained to this male manager the situation that occurred two days ago and showed him my receipt, in addition explaining I called for my records. While he looked away during this dialogue exchange, he then, interrupted, cut me off in the middle me explaining, and challenged me saying, "That was a different store" while pointing at my receipt. I asked him to pull out the receipt tape at the register and asked him, "If this was a different store, then why are the phone numbers the same at the top of the receipts?" He acknowledged 'only then' that it was the same store and started the process of fulfilling the missed order along with a new order. He walked away without offering my cup for my soda that this part of my value meal or a carrying tray as I order a happy meal for my nephew. For the record, I stated earlier that this order was 'to go'. I then waited and asked another employee for a carrying tray as the male manager never offered or returned. Attention to detail and basic customer service are critical fundamental pillars to any business in a fiercely competitive market. With Taco Bell/ Chick Fila and many others with in walking distance of one another, I would anticipate a MANAGER understanding the impact of these details to his or hers bottom financial line. As a manager myself, I am mortified that I was challenged as to the validity of my claim and serviced, by leadership, in a way that I found appalling. This manager is not fit to lead as it is apparent this role is well above his ability to comprehend its importance. Perhaps, this is why the young lady on 11/20/18 missed giving me my order correctly the first time...Attitude reflects leadership. If a manager doesn't understand basic concepts of customer service, why would his team. I will never dine here again. read more

This McDoanlds is right up the road from my house and I used to go there pretty often, but now only get there sometimes for breakfast. Their morning staff and evening staff come from different worlds! In the morning, it's fairly quick for a McDonalds, but they really need to do something to improve their afternoon and evening service. IMO read more

This place claims to be 24 hours but if you work late like some of us do, you're out of luck going there anytime between 1 and 4 am because they put cones in their drive thru and claim to be closed if you go inside (even though the door is unlocked and they SAY 24 hour drive thru and dining room). Most of the time food is cold and the cashiers have horrific attitudes. Sad because McDonalds is normally a quick and convenient place for the people of Chelsea. You're better off going to Whataburger. Only giving 1 star because there isn't anything lower. Pathetic. read more

I have had many issues with Chelsea McDonalds. With that being said, LIBBY at the window is great. I never have issues if she is working the window. I love the $1.00 drink. I don't really ever order food,unless with grandkids. Sometimes a young man is at the "pay $$$" window. Don't know his name but he is one of the nicest young man I have met. Stopped by today at 12:30pm for take out. Ordered 2 Quarter Pounders w/cheese and 2 Buttermilk Fried Chicken sandwiches. They advertise that the Quarter Pounders are cooked when ordered but I guarantee the QP I received had been under the heat lamp for hours. The other QP was nothing more than a regular hamburger, not a QP, with 2 half strips of limp bacon. No cheese, mustard, ketchup or onions. It was dried up as well. On to the chicken sandwiches, which were not much better. Mine was cold and tasted like cardboard. My wife said hers was cold and tough. Overall, pretty lousy eating. Chelsea is lacking in good places to eat. This McDonalds is the worst of them all. read more

McDonalds has terrible service. It took 45 minutes to get two M&M McFlurries. The M&Ms were stale and disgusting and it was very dirty in the restaurant. The staff was not focused and there was only one employee working while there were multiple people in line waiting for food. read more

The employees ALWAYS mess up your order, and the ones that can speak english, barely look at you when they speak - the rest of them look at you as if YOU'RE the one speaking the foreign language.
