Dairy Queen hasn't been visited by me since I was a child. I used to love going to DQ after one of my basketball or softball games. There were specific places I liked for specific sports. Anywho, DQ coupons were mailed to me so I figured why not try them out just for fun. Who knows what kind of nostalgic magic could come about. The staff that took my to go order on my first visit could use some one on one training. She had no menu knowledge and did not appear to know how to fully operate the register. Another staff member came over to assist inputting my order before heading back to her post (they were pretty busy). The initial member continued to struggle at the register with no sign of help from management or a team lead. My order consisted of flame thrower chicken strips with vanilla soft serve, toast and fries. For whatever reason this item caught my eye while scanning the menu. A bacon cheeseburger deluxe (double) was ordered in addition to the above. Chicken strips were pipping hot (major plus) and overall not too bad for a fast food restaurant. DQ gave me a flame thrower burger instead of the bacon cheeseburger I had ordered. I called the store, selected the prompt for a manager and was told to have the replacement made upon my next visit since I was unable to return same day. Fast forward to my next visit. The wait to take my order was lengthy due to limited staff being on the clock at my time of arrival. I brought my receipt, ordered regular chicken strips with gravy, fries and a small strawberry shake for my friend and brought my receipt to have the correct burger remade for me. Shawn's attitude towards the burger remake and her condescending remarks towards her coworker were extremely unprofessional. The way she spoke to him was as if she was scolding a child instead of speaking to a mutual adult was unacceptable. The gentleman remade the burger with no issue. My 6 strip basket was made into a 4 strip basket which I corrected them on when I heard it being questioned. Shawn stated "I don't know, read the ticket, I know I rang it up right". She in fact didn't ring my order in correctly. The strip count of 6 was correct, however, she input dine in instead of take out and a medium strawberry shake instead of the small that was ordered. Upon receiving my order there was bbq sauce and honey mustard neither of which were ordered and no gravy. This was brought up to the staff and eventually fixed. Once I got home... I realized there were 5 instead of 6 tenders and these were puny compared to the flamethrower order. After my visit, I decided to not even call because I honestly didn't feel it would be properly taken care of. My first visit went well and would have had me return even if I did not experience an error in my order. The cashier needed to be trained but wasn't unpleasant. Weird and unpleasant second experience to say the least. This visit alone turned me off to any future visits or recommending this particular store to anyone. ** DQ Fan Relations response: Poor process for complaints/poor experiences to be addressed. I love the summer time because my all time favorite blizzard is out, COTTON CANDY! I really don't eat lots of sweets but I will always splurge when it comes to this! The crunch of the cotton candy bits with the yummy syrup is sooo nice and brings me back to childhood. I will have to say, I was sad that after getting halfway through my blizzard it was only vanilla soft serve. The blizzard was not mixed all the way through and could have used a little more cotton candy bits. Maybe next time I should just pay for extra bits to ensure the entire blizzard is an actual blizzard and not soft serve. I think blizzard prices have gone up a lot and think it's worth it if the blizzard is actually mixed thoroughly! read more

Came through the drive thru. The wait was really long and if there had been another fast food place next door, I would have gotten out of line. I ordered a cheeseburger meal with a drink. The people at the drive thru window were really nice and professional so big kudos to the workers on Thursday night. As for the food, my burger was OK. It was very dry, maybe a little overcooked. The French fries were hot but not my favorite fast food fries. The drink that came with my meal was pretty small considering what other fast food places give you. read more

Was given a "freshly made" Blizzard at this location and told it had melted a little "because of the heat," even though it's an air conditioned building? I was hoping to drive home to put it in my freezer to firm up, but turning onto my home road made the top portion spill into my cup holder. I bought two blizzards from there just now. This is what $9.88 gets you. The store won't answer their phone and corporate is closed until Monday, so I'm posting on here. read more

Went by recently while restaurants are still slowly opening. The one closer to our house is already open inside, patio, and drive thru. This location had the drive thru, but the dining room was closed. We didn't really want to eat in the car, and we noticed the patio seating had every other table taped off, but the entrance to the patio was open, so we assumed it was okay. A worker inside saw us when we sat, but just checked to make sure the dining room was locked and walked away. Fortunately we sat out there about an half an hour and were able to eat our whole meal before another worker came and told us the entire patio was closed. Ok--no biggie. Edit: It was just confusing because if the entire outdoor seating was closed, why only block off half the tables, and why not block the entrance to it? Also--other local DQs are allowing outdoor seating. So again, no biggie, just not super clear. (And BTW, the national website indicates this location DOES have outdoor seating available, but not dine-in at this time.) Food was consistent DQ fare. We had a $6 Buck burger lunch with a strawberry sundae, and a Chicken Bacon Ranch. Chicken Bacon Ranch is a great option if you want something indulgent but not shocking. I actually usually skip the ranch, because the cheese and bacon with the chicken on ciabatta is fantastic. read more

Ridiculously poor service. The rudest drive thru person ever! So super rude to us that we drove off after she told us "it doesn't work like that" after she could t understand or take our order. Management needs to get control and FAST! And they were not busy at all. read more

This location is spotless. The people that work there are friendly, helpful and eager to get your order correct and hot. They're not allowing people to dine in but you can walk in and place your order and take it to go. read more

Dropped in for lunch today and was really pleasantly surprised with every aspect of the location. The gentleman at the counter was exceptionally friendly, helpful and even made suggestions that were a cost savings. I was actually a littles stunned to find this level of customer service and engagement in a "fast food" establishment. My daughter has really been wanting to try the frosted animal cookie blizzard. We stopped by about 5 minutes after they opened today to get it for her. I sat at the drive thru for five minutes and was about to pull off when someone walked up to me and told me the manager hadn't showed and they couldn't open because they didn't have a key. We went back a few hours later because I didn't want my daughter to be disappointed, but I was not impressed. The ice cream itself was good. read more

I pulled up to the drive through at 9:50, lights were still on and they told me they were closed. Hours posted on the door said until 10 pm. I get that it's almost closing but don't post hours and not actually be open during that time. read more

I stopped going because I got tired of seeing the managers SCREAMING at teenagers working there every time I went. Not sure how this place keeps an employee for more than a day. Whoever owns it or is over this area needs to get their head in their business and see what kind of people they have "managing" this location. read more

I came into Dairy Queen on July 28 around 8:30 and order 2 banana splits, oreo blizzard, chicken finger meal and a kids meal. When i received my bananas splits they where soupy whipped cream didnt look right. I ask the 2 young men who where doing it to replace them. They seem to have an attitude about it. However Ms. Anita redid the banana split and they came out prefect. Food was good and family was happy. read more

I like Dairy Queen but this one is so terrible. The floor and tables were filthy and sticky. They are always out of diet coke and sweet tea. I told them they should have informed customers before ordering what they are out. They don't care. They made me swipe my credit card three times because they hit cash button. They never apologized. This place does not worth a star but no choice. I wanted to complain at the company website but I can't. Since they gave me a reprint which don't have a validation code. read more
