Great place for kids. Soft plush carpet and foam underneath and the kids play with just their socks here (shoes must be off and placed in a cubby) so it's nice like home. It's clean and the musical instruments make music when they are sat on or pushed or tapped. The life sized instruments are plush and lined w cushion. Nice theme for a McDonalds. Happy meals $4.99 come w a mini croc replica and stickers. Happy meals comes w the toy, a drink (milk, juice, or water), 1 kid fry and choice of double kids fry or apples, and 6 pieces of chicken nuggets or a hamburger. Quality, fresh McDonalds food. But the real reason I'm writing this review is because I'm very impressed by how clean this location is. There is a children's play area (must remove shoes) with a rug. It's so clean and well maintained. Cleaner than my own home. While there are no thrills, it gets the job done for families. Enough to occupy a kid's attention for 10 minutes and kids won't be begging to stay. One of the best family friendly McDonald's locations I've been to in my lifetime. read more

Used the drive-thru today around 1:30 pm. Bought an orange Fanta with our food, and the cup wasn't full, so asked the girl working the drive through if she could fill it up a bit more. When we got home and tasted the drink it was full of soda water, and barely had any orange flavor. Ordered some food through DoorDash and never have I had so many issue with an order. To start, I bit into a bone within my first few bites of the spicy McChicken I'd ordered. About an inch long and then under further examination noticed most of the lettuce was brown as well. No ketchup, honey mustard, or even a straw for the drink was included with the delivery. Hadn't heard of this place before, but man am I glad I found it! I was out on a walk down Ashland with my cat, Nigel, and we saw a picture of a cheeseburger on the window and had to try it... Definitely one of the best burgers I've had in Chicago! I paid for my meal with the mobile app. I requested my pickup via drive thru. Upon arriving, they could not pull up my order. Mind you it was already paid for, I was just picking it up. The cashier looked at my receipt on my phone. She goes and gets her manager. The manager opens up the drive thru window and says "what's the problem?" At this point I'm a little confused. What do you mean what's the problem? The problem is I paid for food and you haven't given it to me. I show the manager my mobile receipt. She tells me to pull forward that she will be bringing out my food. I wait about five minutes or so. She finally comes out & hands me a little bag with one cheeseburger. I kindly tell her that we're missing another burger & fries. Mid sentence she cuts me off and says "no I no miss anything." I show her my receipt again where it clearly shows the other items I paid for & quantities. She still says that I didn't order that. I'm like what? Open your eyes it's clear as day. One cheeseburger does not cost $15+ dollars. She goes back inside to get my food. She did not apologize or anything, she practically threw the bag to me. For the third time in the last six months I've ordered in the mobile app and paid but when I get to the window the guy Carlos tells me that my order is not paid even though it's through the app. He informs me that I have to pay cash if I want my food. I've shown him in my banks app that the payment went through for the exact amount and he holds my food until it gets cold until I give him cash. He tells me I need to go to my bank to get my money back. I think he's extorting money from people and pocketing it. Great experience! Food was super-fast and correct. The food was just as good as any other. Lobby was clean and employees were stocking items and condiments. The staffs were extremely friendly and helpful with everything. The lady working the front counter was amazing. She was patient and friendly with my children & listened to them when they told her what they wanted. Had a good experience as always and will return many times in the future. They get orders wrong in the drive thru and then give you ATTITUDE when you go inside and ask for the correct order as well as make you wait an additional 10 minutes. Get it together! Compared to ordering with the mobile app or the drive through, you are better off using the drive through. I arrived and checked in for the staff to start preparing the meal. But nobody came and the person who arrive after me got her order. I had to ask the attendant who delivered the other person's order about the status about my meal. When you get in line at the drive through, at least you have an idea when you're going to get your meal because of all the cars behind you. Just about the worst McDonald's I've been too. It really has to do with the manager and the way he makes the employees do things. First of all, if you want any sauce from the drive-thru, its an extra charge! After paying, and realizing it at the 1st window, I brought it up to the girl who said the manager doesn't want us telling people it's extra, and they would get in trouble... This review is for Mickey's Mocha Frappe, Chicken Nuggets, Customer Service and Building Structure. Mocha Frappe, sans whipped cream, may just be the highlight of my morning. It's delish. and like 4 dollars cheaper than the 'bucks. Love it. The PIC always gets the nuggets and demolishes them, so you know they have to be good. Spicy Mustard is the way to go for a dipping solution. Customer service in the drive thru has always been correct. Thank you for that. Love the new design of the building. Can't judge too harshly, after all this is McDonalds. The corporate champion of corn based food 'products' shaped like your favorite American staples; burgers, shakes, assorted sandwiches containing at least 25% digestible food. Two stars because the drive thru is open 24 hours a day. They would have been given 3 stars but they don't let you walk through the drive thru anymore! I live across the street and I'll be damned if I'm going to get in my car when I'm hammered and craving a grease bomb to shove down my gullet. This usually leads me to either walk to Jewel up the street or to get in a cab just so I can do the drive thru.
