Instead, I was charged one Big Mac for $4.49 and 20 piece chicken nuggets for $5, total of $9.49 instead of what I intended to spend of $5. The leadership team is usually the reason for any businesses poor progress. Things started well, however we live in a world that is conditioned to be judgemental towards another person's physical appearance. Being homeless I am fairly clean, can shower several times a week and wear washed clean clothing. However I do carry around a backpack and ride a beach cruiser bike. After my breakfast meal I asked to use the restroom. I went in to the bathroom at 8:51am and at about 9:02am as I was drying my hands an employee walks In and says that I cannot be loitering. .Never had I been talking to another person there or did anything to get lied to and asked to leave. I mentioned that I had only been in the restroom for about 10 minutes going number two after eating breakfast. Apparently multiple employees bothered by my presence at this location. That's okay though I didn't react, respectfully I finish drying my hands and exit the restroom making my way towards the front to order some more food. I ended up using my rewards on the app to order something and the employee at the cash register use my points only to tell me right away after that some item in the kitchen is broken and I would not be able to get that item! I reminded him that I had used my reward points and losing 1500 points to me is as good as losing a large sum of money because those points where the difference between me having a meal for dinner and or staying hungry and having nothing for dinner. The young man tried to help by reversing the points but the women wearing the glasses was just totally ignorance and fairly offensive to the average person she waved it off like it's nothing. All I got in return for my missing 1500 points is two chocolate chip cookies which they couldn't even bother to warm up in the microwave for 10 seconds, unfortunately management was involved in this judgmental situation as well. This may stop someone else ever coming back but not I, I will continue to eat here and continue creating new accounts and leaving new reviews as long as it takes until my experience improves at this location. Everything was bad from the customer service to how old and stale everything tasted. The sodas were all low on syrup. I asked for a McDouble ketchup only and got no ketchup. The buns were like french bread hard and chewey. They people next to us complaining about how much mayo they put on their mcchicken and couldn't eat it. The person in charge she was yelling at the crew saying things like "are you crazy" at them when they're clearly just trying to work and I felt like she didn't respect them. That is why everyone in there received bad food is because they are not treating the employees right here. The only thing about this place is it was very clean that is why I give it two stars. If I could give this location a 0 I would lol yea I used that famous line. Came at 10:50 the employees took so long to let the people ahead of us order. When we pull up to order the rude girl who "wouldn't disclose" her name said they were now closed. When I asked her what time she closed she said "we close now." I then proceeded to ask what her corporate number was she again said "I will not disclose that information." Hahaha like that information isn't available online. She told me to get out of the drive through I told her idiot self how am I supposed to do that with two cars ahead of me and three in the back. I have been here a couple times and their is always something wrong: dry chicken nuggets and mc chickens, bad customer service, incomplete orders you name it. I'm writing this as I sit at home after another bad experience. I ordered a big mac meal and got home and snacked on the fries. I opened the box poured in some ketchup for fries and picked up what I thought was a big mac. There was literally no meat in there. How can you forget the meat patties on a burger. Regret stopping here before work, should've known better. Today I ordered a coffee w/ cream and sugar and sausage egg McMuffin. Repeated the coffee order twice. Received a sausage egg McMuffin and a coffee with cream only, no sugar. Few hours later ended up sick with a stomach ache on the toilet multiple times while at work. I definitly learned my lesson. This is the WORST McDonalds in the Citrus Heights/Antelope area. The customer service is always terrible. I have had more than one bad experience with this place. I will not be going back. Examples: I ordered a mighty kids meal for my 4 y/o son in the drive thru. Easy order - 6 piece chicken nuggets, apple slices, apple juice. I was asked If I wanted a girl or boy toy. I said boy. When I get home, he has a 4 piece chicken nugget, apple slices that are slightly moldy and smelled terrible when opened, and a girl toy. Mind you, a Mighty Kids meal costs more than a regular Happy Meal, so yeah it was only a two nugget difference, but I paid for the difference. Twice, I have gone through the drive through and have been asked to wait a moment. As I am waiting, another car pulls up in the opposite lane and their order is taken immediately, while I am still let sitting there waiting. The first time this happened was about a month ago. The second time it happened was this morning. Before the other car had come up, I had said Hello? Hello? - nothing. After the other car pulled up and went forward I became angry. I pulled forward and when I got to the window I asked why I was told to wait and no one came back, yet immediately served someone else. The man at the window stated he had told me to pull forward. No, he did not. And in fact if he did, why wouldn't he tell me that again when I started saying "hello" instead of just leaving me sitting there with absolutely no response? The drive thru is the slowest drive thru ever. I have waited anywhere from 7 to 15 minutes in their drive thru. There are many other instances I could note here, but I wont. I have kept trying this location because it is super close to my house, but at this point I think it's best to drive a little further if it means I'm going to receive better customer service, an accurate order and fresh food. read more

I have been eating at the Lichen Drive location for over 20 years and haven't had any complaints until recently. I don't know if it's new management or lack of training, but in the last year or so they can not seem to get my orders correct. I'll get home and some aspect of my order isn't right. It's anything from I said "no cheese" and there's cheese on my burger. Or I ask for BBQ sauce and they give me sweet N sour. Today- I said "can I have ketchup (before I was handed the bag) and when I got home there wasn't any ketchup in my bag, not to mention my patty was burnt and the buns were cold. With covid & not being able to walk in bc the lobby is closed, I can't just run inside and ask for a remake or grab ketchup packets or whatever. I keep trying to give them "another chance" bc not only are they close to my house but I am a loyal customer of that location. But this was the final straw and I'm gonna have to start going to the Sunrise location in hopes I get better service. This Citrus Heights McDonalds off Antelope Rd has the highest prices (Roseville prices) without the fast Roseville convenience. Also, the franchise owner stops all app deals at 9:45 pm which made me drive to another McDonalds that had a much longer line but I saved $12. I absolutely hate this McDonalds. I've lived next to this McDonald's my entire life. They're decent with time, but mostly they send you home with wrong orders. I really like McDonald's burgers, but it isn't worth it to have to drive back every time they get something wrong. My father went back the other day for a wrong order and they stood there pointing and laughing at him. The customer service has gone downhill the last few years for sure. I will say they did just remodel and it looks so much better! So meh, there's definitely something off about this McDonalds location. I swung by a few days ago for some McNuggets which I absolutely love. The customer service was pretty good...staff was polite and helpful. My order was correct. I'm giving two stars because the nuggets tasted kind of stale, like they were sitting under a heat lamp for a long time. With cars continuously going through the drive thru, you'd think the food would be fresher (fresh from the fryer that is). I'll be back since the location is somewhat close to home. Ugh...let me note that the only reason why I'm still coming here is that it's the closest location to my house, and the employees are very nice and nice enough to correct the mistakes in my order which is why I'm giving them a 2 instead of a 1. Problem is...they make mistakes on the orders a lot. There has been numerous times when they forget something in my order, so I had to come back and tell them. The worst thing that has ever happened to me was that they rushed my frappe and handed to me with the lid partially on which caused it to spill all over me and my car. Since I had to go to work I couldn't walk in for a new one, so I tried to close it back together, but the crushed iced wouldn't let me and just kept on slipping off. Sigh...
