I fell in love with Togo's 28 years ago while stationed with the Air Force at McClellan AFB, Sacramento, CA. So, whenever I get back to California, I have to have Togo's. It's still good, just not as good as I remember. I'm sure there's some explanation for that. The young girls that waited on me weren't very friendly, but I chalk that up to them having to live in California, while I am fortunate to live in Texas, where people are much more friendly. So, certainly visit this restaurant for a good sandwich. Just don't expect to be greeted with a smile, or engaged by friendly chit-chat. read more

I visited this location on June 16, 2023, and I've never had a worse sandwich from any Togos. I ordered a #6, the meatball sandwich which typically has a lot of sauce. I also usually request mustard be added, which I'm sure some people would find weird, but I asked for it and the girl making my sandwich barely put any. I figured that's fine, the sauce will keep it from being too dry. But when I got home, there wasn't any sauce either. My bread was super dry, and the meatballs were extremely salty. More so by far than usual. The only reason I'm giving a second star is that it was a busy Friday night. The team behind the counter was trying to work together and communicating well to keep the line moving. I come here at least once a week for my picky dad who loves their hot roast beef sandwich lol. He tells me that he requests this place so much because they're consistent. He always knows what to expect. His food is always fresh and hot. No matter if I order Togo or pick it up by the time arrive home the food is still hot. Veggies always taste crisp and fresh. Place is always nice and clean. Another note that has me coming back is the customer service. The girls here are very professional and sweet. Tonight at around 9:30pm I ordered two sandwiches. The #36 was okay, however the #24 I ordered was not acceptable. My sandwich was FILLED with mayo, and had it gushing out the sides. As a former Togo's employee, and I know the standards. For an employee to put -that much- on a sandwich and still give it to a customer is questionable. Not sure why but for some reason they have gotten my order wrong for the last two times including or not including ingredients that I want. I do like how they are less restrictive when it comes to the daily deal; however, what happened to the half in half option. I came here for the first time ever and waited to order. The two young employees were helping out another customer so I patiently waited, never have been acknowledged. A guy came in after me and they told him they would be right with him. As soon as they were done with the first customer, one of the young girls faced the guy and asked him to order. There was an older lady working as well and she told the young employee that I had been waiting before him. Consistent. Tasty. Affordable. I've been coming here for years, a couple times a year. Its a little farther than most want to drive when they are playing in a tourney at Cherry Island, but I love me some Togo's. I make it a point to skip the nearby Subway and other options to come here. Their sandwiches are always consistent, fully packed, and quickly made. They are perfect to bring back to the field and also a one stop shop - sando, drink, chips, and you can buy dessert at the Baskin Robins if you'd like! The BEST part is they sell Wild Cherry Pepsi on tap and you can also walk two feet and grab some ice cream if you'd like, for those really hot, hot days! The parking lot is usually crazy crowded, because this is a mecca of big box spots. Starbucks and Panda Express are right there, which pretty much ensures everyone in your group can find something to eat. The drive thru Starbucks line creates some traffic issues, when parking, but just beware of your surroundings. The staff, different each visit, over the years has been awesome. After asking her a few different sandwich questions, which Katkynn happily answered for me... I decided on a Turkey, avocado, add bacon sandwich. I had her make it on their Parmesan bread...all I can say is "DELICIOUS!!" When I asked to see the package of the gluten free wrap the employee had no problems letting me read the ingredients. Ordered two hot pastrami large sandwiches, they were just barely ok. Customer service could of been better, just average. I honestly was annoyed about the male employee wearing his mask around his neck, never once made an attempt to put it on correctly. Why even wear it if you are just going to make it a fashion statement. I think the pastrami was over cooked or warmed there was some very hard crunchy pieces that were inedible. There was barely any mayo either so it tasted pretty dry especially with the white bread which is my least favorite but there was only enough sourdough for 1 sandwich and no parmesan bread. Also whats the deal with no cheese on the hot pastrami? Didn't even get asked if I would like to add cheese... every time I have gotten a hot pastrami they put cheese, also whenever I order a hot pastrami they didn't just warm the meat up they toasted the bread with the pastrami and cheese so it was hot and melty and toasted*which was not the case last night * Mine was disgusting hard from the microwave type warmer that was used also way too much fatty chunks and it just didn't taste right.
