I visited this McDonald's recently while on vacation, and unfortunately, the experience was not great. When I pulled up to the window to get my order, the woman working there seemed visibly annoyed and irritated--like she was just done with the day. My husband and I tried to be friendly and smile in hopes of lightening the mood, but she didn't respond and instead handed over our food and drinks in a very rushed and almost aggressive manner. While I do appreciate that the fries were fresh, the hamburger I ordered was extremely disappointing--poor quality and not appetizing at all. We took the food back to our Airbnb, hoping to enjoy a quick meal with our family, but to our shock, we found a bee inside the fries that my son was already eating. Needless to say, we were completely grossed out. I called the location immediately, and it sounded like the same employee answered. She told me to take a photo and bring the receipt back to get a free meal. While I appreciate the gesture, the entire experience--from the rude service to the unsanitary food--was frustrating, especially when you're just trying to relax and enjoy a simple meal on vacation. Considering how much we paid, we expected at least basic quality and customer service. Very disappointed and will likely not return to this location. Please make sure you check the customer's food before you serve it. This location seems to be hit or miss. Sometimes we get our food hot & quick, sometimes it's cold & quick, sometimes it's slow & we have to wait in a spot, usually because of fries. However, we have never not been able to get an ice cream cone - the ice cream machine seems to continuously work at this location (knock on wood!) so that's always nice. It's pretty easy to get in & out of this location as long as you're going west down Sunset Point or south down Hercules as you leave the parking lot since you turn right for both. Any other direction is hard to do given the location, medians, & stoplight. At the end of the Day, I'd say this is your average McDonald's. You won't be disappointed and you won't be wowed. read more

I'd give the employees 5 stars for trying their best. I pulled into the drive thru to grab my granddaughters a surprise, I was on my way to get them from school. It ended up taking 20 mins. There was one car in front of me. I noticed the manager standing outside talking. This wouldn't bother me if the staff weren't struggling to stay afloat. I was parked for 15 minutes for one quarter pounder. The kids food is now cold. Their drinks are melted. The line was now wrapped around the building. The manager still did not move. He enjoyed his conversation while his staff struggled. This is ridiculous! I realize staffing issues are making it tough but, the staff were trying so hard. I just came back from this McDonald's, the lobby doors were open as to take orders, went in to place an order, had an employee state that the lobby was close. I informed her I am looking to place an order, she repeated the lobby closed, normally if they are not taking orders in side the doors are closed and locked. Manager refused to fill my mobile order 7 minutes before closing saying they only have 15 cooked nuggets left and "close in 3 minutes" (@ 10:53p) then had me wait for 13 minutes while she tried to figure out how to refund my mobile order. It would have been quicker to just cook my order. read more

I had two orders, using the by one get one coupon on both; (i am a college student, i have limited funds so this is how i get by to treat myself and my partner) The first order was made perfectly, my partner has ASD and is extremely picky with food. However, the second order was just a strawberry milkshake and an oreo mcflurry with caramel, They didn't even MIX the mcflurry, as someone who's worked there, I know what it looks like, still we were not quick to judge, we understand if they where tired, or just didnt have the time/hands to do the step, but there was absolutely no caramel, that i was charged an extra 1.00+ for with tax. So I'm not quite sure what happened to this place. Maybe it's the labor shortage? I stopped here on a Friday night at 9:45pm. The website says they're open 24/7. All of the lights were on so I pulled into the drive through to place an order. I waited and waited and no one spoke to me. Finally, I said something and I was informed they were closed. No explanation was given. Just an abrupt and frankly rude "we're closed." As I left the building, I could see a few young employees dancing and goofing off in the lobby inside. I understand that there's an issue getting people to work lately but to be closed so early on a Friday night is truly concerning. On friday evening i went through the drive tru and i had to repeat my order four times, and then when i went to pay they wanted to give me my chang in penny rolls. I then asked for my money back and i would give them a card and they said they couldn't. now i'm stuck with three rolls of pennies. I've been here quite a few times...drive thru only and they are usually so fast I don't have a chance to check in. The staff has always been friendly, efficient and courteous. The food seems to be prepared well (not just slipped together like some locations) and I've never had a wrong order or missing item. Late night wait times at this location are infamously excessive, and locals expect it, but this morning was particularly note worthy. I was the second car in line and was trapped by design into a 28 minute wait. It would have been longer, but at that point I exited the car, walked to the window and asked the manager, "Linda", what could possibly be causing a 28 minute wait and was told that, "they had to wait for biscuits for the car ahead of me", because they weren't ready. And I would, "just have to wait". At that point, I just wanted my money back. When I was finally allowed to drive up for my food, (an additional 3 minutes later), I was offered no food, but got 8 dollar bills flung at me, (although I had spent change as well), and the window was shut. I paid 60 and some odd cents to Linda and the incompetent staff of this location for the opportunity to over heat my engine, waste my gas and time, be disrespected and ultimately short changed,  I am furious. EVERY time I order from this location on Doordash after 10 pm my order gets cancelled and the driver is told you're CLOSED. Why does this keep happening? Stop wasting MY time and Doordash drivers' time just so you can cancel my order after 30 minutes of waiting! If items aren't available that I've ordered, call me and offer a replacement. Shit McMuffin alert!!! Went for breakfast and ordered a sausage McMuffin with egg at the drive through. It literally smelled like shit when I stopped to eat it and I threw it out. I know the difference between the sulphur smell of eggs and feces, and this definitely smelled exactly like the latter. Thank you for being one of the few, if only one, that has good customer service! Your drive through personnel said words like "Thank You" and "Have a good day." One even made a joke with me! The employees at the McDonalds on US 19 don't even say anything to you. That's right, a silent drive through. Thanks again for a pleasant experience, at least in the customer experience. I ordered a signature sandwich a chicken sandwich with guacamole and the new chicken tenders neither one was in stock. We settled with two McDoubles french fries and a Coke. I drive for Uber. After driving for 10 minutes and waiting in the lobby for 5 more minutes.. i walked to the counter and simply asked the manager ''is my uber order ready''. She proceeded to yell and tell me how she isn't a ''psychic. You can't just stand there and not say anything''. This used to be a clean place. We now go in and tables are dirty and garbage cans filled to the brim. The staff is just standing around?! There were times not long ago it looked fine even during this crisis. Makes me question what is going on in the back where our food is. We haven't seen a manager there in months. Too many times now there isn't a clean table so we leave. We asked tonight to get a clean table and they did one. Just one...not more for others...just one as tho we were in their way. I am writing this review because I am disappointed every time I come here. I just went to get dinner and they asked me to pull up because they were waiting on fresh fries. I am very easy going. I pull up behind a car that was in front of me that was also waiting on fries. They decided to drive off. One of the team members came out and asked me what my order was. I had to repeat the order 3 times and when my order came out everything was cold, even the fresh fries I was waiting on. I thought fresh fries were "Hot" I guess not. The manager and her team members are very rude. I asked if they made sure that there were no "silver onions" on my burger and another team member states "if it was on your receipt then there should be no onions". Once before I had asked for no onions on my burger and they brought out my meal with onions, so now I check and ask. The manager argued with me saying she made sure there were no onions. I had to open the burger and show her that there were plenty of onions. They need better management. read more
