Two people in our party chose Burger Specials while two others chose the Chicken Burger. As usual, The Edge does a great job with Burger Night and the fries were excellent (although a little skimpy) as they usually are. We shared a Calamari appetizer that came out quickly and was piping hot. Bring back the Wedge Salad! Try The Edge - you will like it!

Nice cocktail, wine, and beer selection. Calamari appetizer (sadly forgot to take a photo) was perfect for sharing amongst 2-4 people. Tender bites (rings and tentacles - I prefer) with a perfectly light, crispy coating. Tasty. Both the scallops & risotto were honestly some of the best I've ever had (and I order this often at seafood joints). Sweet meat, large size, crisped atop. The risotto was creamy and very flavorful (subtle white wine) with mushrooms and spinach throughout. The salmon piece that I tasted was very soft and fresh. My party seemed satisfied. Although I've had better crème brûlée, no real complaints. Nice crispy torched top. Texture was a little thicker than I like and the chill needed to come down to room temp more. It was pretty vacant prime time on a Saturday night, so I really hope things turn around. This area of NJ is severely lacking fine dining, so this spot is much needed. There are dining specials and DJs set up on select nights. Place does bring in an older crowd (makes sense for the area). Ample parking available. Come have a time or two!

The food here is insanely fresh as was our daily interpretation involving copious use of root vegetables. In a Woodstock mood, I went for a mushroom motif inclusive of a mushroom onion soup and mushroom infused homemade cavatelli. You won't get points for atmosphere as the location is main street central and directly across from an Irish pub that is still serving the same slab of corned beef that they first boiled in 1991. If you're a foodie or even a fraudie, 12 Farms offers infinite pleasures and is richly deserving of a resounding five stars. Speaking of rich bring lots of cash as plastic is not accepted.

The soup sampling consisted of three very tiny cups that were sort of like an espresso size cup. The salad was a very small portion. They said that the portion sizes were not smaller because of the $65 price fix option. If you ordered the salads à la carte they arranged from $19-$22 I believe. Had I did the à la cart and received that portion for that much money I would be disappointed to say the least; my wife and I often share a salad before entrées and generally speaking they are big enough to share but their portion wasn't enough for me alone. Presentation was beautiful and service was great, as well as the ambience, and we have been there several times. We are raying a 3 because of the positives, but I did consider making it a 2. I hope the restaurant takes note and addresses the piints I made. Note that the entrée portions were good.

Very cool that Venue 618 was the only NJ restaurant to make the recent Yelp Top 100 restaurants in the US. Sitting at the bar, we were served by Zoey, Steve, and Mike. They've re-done their cocktail menu to include beautiful color illustrations. I enjoyed "One in a Melon," a well-balanced whiskey cocktail with Frank August small batch bourbon, melon, poblano pepper, Aperol, and lime. This was followed by a tasty whiskey sour. My wife ordered a Lemon Drop martini, followed by a decadent chocolate-pistachio dessert martini. All of the cocktails were well-balanced and delicious. On the food side, I munched on a baked macaroni & cheese with chorizo. It was perfect! The Death of Hospitality brand thrives on personalization and unexpected surprises. Mixologist Steve, realizing that I'm a whiskey afficionado, surprised me with a small pour of Rock Hill Farms Single Barrel bourbon. This is a difficult bottle to find in New Jersey. Rock Hill Farms was incredible, with a super long finish. Thanks for the memories 618!

The food was amazing. The filet mignon, halibut, and chicken Milanese all drew rave reviews from my guests. What made the night even more enjoyable was the outstanding service by June, Ro and Beverly. I got more compliments on the service than on the food. These ladies never stopped moving and made each guest feel like they were the only ones in the room at times. From the first minute guests entered until they were thanked by the ladies on their way out the door, these three ladies showed why they are an asset to your restaurant. If every party at 618 goes like this one, I will be hosting more celebrations there. Everything was 5 stars!

I actually wish it was closer, my mouths watering just thinking about the food! The food was amazing, I mean true delicious food. We ordered such a variety and I an not kidding when I say everything was truly amazing! This visit I ordered fried zucchini sticks as an appetizer, Chicken Amalfi as my entree, and chocolate mousse cake for dessert. The flavor for everything was on point! Cons- I absolutely HATE when my pasta dish is swinging in a lake of sauce...ever heard of cornstarch?? Let's thicken it up a bit, fellas! Also the dining area is atrocious!! I feel dirty every time I go there. Lastly, I was batting away flies throughout my entire meal. All this negative leaves room for much improvement. I hope their management makes some changes so future visits can be more enjoyable. As it stands now I would only go alone and never take a guest.

The location is a little further than we would normally travel, but it was worth it. I loved all the farm to table foods they have. They even nicely promote all the partners they use right on the wall of the restaurant, so you know where all your food comes from. Everyone loved their meals! I had the Thai chicken sandwich and it was so flavorful and delicious. It came with a side and I picked baked sweet potato wedges that were really good and so memorable that a week later I am still thinking about them. Other dishes ordered were the chicken salad and strawberry salad which my friends both enjoyed. Our server was very good and didn't rush us as we were just chatting up a storm. The restaurant suggests reservations which are a good idea, especially for dinner. I will definitely be back and can't wait to put Harvest on my restaurant rotation. We went around 2:00 PM the day before Mother's Day, and it was pretty quiet inside besides a few larger groups. Service was kind and welcoming. The food took a little while to come out, which surprised me since it didn't seem too busy, but maybe there was a party or something going on elsewhere. For appetizers, we got the Brussels sprouts and the warm feta dip -- both were absolutely fabulous and so delicious. Definitely recommend them. Next time I want to try the fried calamari too. For our entrées, I was deciding between getting a pizza, but ended up ordering the Lincroft Burger while my friend got the Charlie's Burger. We cut them in half and switched so we could each try both. Great idea because both burgers were really good. I personally prefer my fries extra crispy and these weren't quite there, but they still tasted good. The cookie skillet dessert LOOKED amazing. We were way too stuffed to order it this time, but next visit I'm definitely saving room for it. Overall, I would come again. Enjoy!
