I have mobility issues and put in a mobile order. I parked close to the door as it is hard to walk. I do not have a handicap sticker but even if I did it would not help. After I parked I got out of my car and was halfway to the door and an employee asked me to move as the McDonalds truck needed to park to unload. The truck took up all the spots next to the building so even if I had a handicap sticker I would not have been able to park there. read more

A rare rare rare occasion happened to me on Sunday. For some strange reason I had a taste for McDonald's. Specifically a double quarter pounder. The "No, don't do it" gods where telling me not too but I listened that that other dude saying, "this one time...go for it." The gods were right. I should not have done it. I embarked on a journey that I told myself I would never do again until McDonald's went back to making burgers like they did in 1985. A hint of the flavor is still there but you just can't get past the texture of the meat. I don't know what part of the meat they are using, but I'm sure its a part that must be meant for scraps. Yeah, pink slime...Google it. To make matters worse, I tried the nuggets. I know, I know, it's not chicken but some sort of chicken paste that never (and I mean never) spoils or decomposes. Need I continue with how disgusting I felt after swallowing such food that the USDA was obviously paid off to pass to allow for human consumption. Fifteen minute after eating that food, makes you fill like you just ate a leather jacket. (Including the zipper.) The service was great. Food was fresh (meaning cooked to order) so the 1 star goes for the service. I really believe the only thing McD is good for now is the fudge Sunday, which I didn't even order. Horrible customer service experience at this location. I went through the drive thru and the last who took my order said "Yea Hello." I replied by saying hello and she said "go ahead." I placed my order and drove around to pay. When I handed her the money she did not speak say hello or anything. Not professional at all. Went to second window to pick up food and the male who handed me my food opened the window and just handed me my food then closed the window. The manager who was a older black female was standing behind him talking to someone just laughing instead of paying attention to how unprofessional her employees were being. I'm not exaggerating when I say that I that I received one of my worst experiences at this McDonald's. The cashier that attempted to record our order put in a wrong item 3 torturous times. Every time he encountered that same problem he called over who I believe to be the manager. All 3 of those times were paired with a long wait for her to respond. Shameka, which is what I believe the cashier yelled out, came and yelled at the cashier and did not look over at us once. She seemed to be very angry already with the cashier as she reluctantly removed the items off our order. Now back to the cashier. He spoke softly and made it difficult for us to understand his speech adding on to our already horrible experience. I go this MCD pretty regular as it is near where my son goes to speech therapy so I pick up lunch at one of the restaurants nearby. For the most part, this location is pretty below par with most MCDs. It is definitely not a kids friendly location. No playroom or toys. It seems to be made to be more of a drive-thru. That being said, they should try a little harder to get it right. The doors on on the side of the restaurant by the Red Box which puts back by the restrooms so you walk through the restaurant to get to the counter. They do a lot of business in the mornings and have little groups of senior citizen regulars who meet. Lunch time there are workers dining in. I haven't had my food messed up here but they regularly screw up my drink (diet Dr. pepper). If I have time, I just pull into a parking space and go back in to fix it myself. The other day, I had driven all the way back to my son's speech place and realized they gave me regular sweet tea. I drove back to the drive thru told the person I got the wrong drink. I pulled up to the payment window and she gave me my drink. I gave her the drink they gave me originally. I drove off and realized they now had given me regular Dr. Pepper. How do you screw that up a second time? I've gotten to where I ask them when they hand it to me "Is this DIET Dr. Pepper?" They almost always say yes. Sometimes they freeze for a second and decide to make a new drink. This is a standard run of the mill fast food location. Their choice in employees is a bit questionable and makes you wonder if they have some sort of parole early release program going with the state. I come hear every once in a while and they seem to do fine. Minor mistakes with my order are rare, and the service is mostly ok. To the customers who are angry, y'all want to know why things are the way they are. If you're angry that they got your order wrong, here are possible reasons: another customer took your bag and refused to give it back, you placed a very big order and forgot it completely, you didn't read the screen at the drive thru, you were being deceptive, when you were asked if you ordered a certain item you said it was yours even if it wasn't. Sometimes, it was an honest mistake by the crew. I worked at a different McDonald's and I dealt with pretty deceptive and ignorant customers. I had customers tell me that they wanted Hotcakes and Sausage, but they really wanted the Big Breakfast with Hotcakes. I had customers tell me they want the Iced Mocha Coffee, but they really wanted the Mocha Frappe. I had customers make changes to their orders after they paid. Before you criticize a restaurant for screwing up your order, think again. Sometimes you don't pay attention when the cashier reads back your order. Sometimes it's your fault you got the wrong order. There are things fast food restaurants need to fix, but it's not always their fault if your order is screwed. read more

You know that old saying "the inmates are in charge of the asylum"? Never have I seen it brought to life so vividly as during one of my recent trips to this McDonald's. Obviously I'm not expecting dining at its finest here, nor its healthiest, but just a modicum of propriety would be cool with me. Before you go thinking I'm an old fart, I'd like to say that I remember my first job, and I remember that I didn't take it too seriously. But I didn't take it so lightly that I acted like an ass around customers (I saved that for when it wasn't busy and they weren't around). So it was around 4 in the afternoon...we decided dollar cheeseburgers would hit the spot and not ruin us for dinner.....we pulled in the drive-thru. After waiting a bit and almost pulling away, we were greeted with a very confused "Uh, yeah, can I take your order?" I resisted the urge to yell "Beavis, is that you?" and simply ordered the three dollar cheeseburgers. Silence. So we drove around. Saw one car at the window to pick up food, no one at the window where you pay. Upon pulling up to the paying window, we see 3 or 4 teenagers standing around with blank expressions, except for one guy who is animatedly busting some moves like he's trying out for America's Best Dance Crew. Tiny Dancer stopped long enough to take our money and give us the wrong change back, then we drove to the pick-up window. There, we were met by some kid whose eyes were so glassy and red, and whose mood was so mellow, we figured he had a bong hidden under the drink dispenser. He told us to have a great day. And he was stoned enough to mean it, too. Lucky for us we checked the bag, as they had forgotten one burger. Shaggy (he had red hair-not kidding) gave us our burger and repeated "have a great day". We drove away with an odd sort of feeling, when it finally occured to me that we hadn't seen anyone over the age of 17. Not that that always matters, but someone needed to be in charge. Badly. Plus side: mornings here are more organized. Busy, but organized, and nothing like the aforementioned occurence.
