They had the Dineyland promotion for Happy meals, my daughter who is 4, was very excited to get a Disney toy. When she opened her toy it wa a K-pop character. I asked why her box didn't have a DISNEY character. I was told it is randkne all the toys are mixed together. She didn't even offer to switch it and get her a Disney character. I would not recommend this McDonald's to anyone regardless if this was the last place to eat on earth... The fact that I went for breakfast... The most important meal of the day and got MOLDY FOOD!! Luckily, the manager was very understanding and quick to apologize and refund me with no questions so the service from this stand point is okay in my book. However, the building itself is run down parts of the height restriction is coming down, the drive through is raggedy, doesn't look well maintained and so I should've expected the food to provide that same level of attention to detail. I came here to get a Filet-o-Fish meal, since it's meatless day for me today. Parking was easy to find, and I parked right in front of the door. I went inside and sat at a table while placing a table delivery order via the mobile app, entering the table number as part of the process. I completed the order and waited ... around 15 minutes. I went to the counter after noticing that many people who came in after me and either ordered at the counter or used the kiosk to place an order all got their food while I was waiting. I saw my order all bagged up and waiting in the kitchen area. I asked an employee (manager?) if that was my order. She asked, "Are you Kevin?" I told her yes and that I will be at the table. She brought my order to the table, but forgot to bring me a straw. I went to the counter again and asked her for a straw. She gave one to me and I asked her, "Why didn't someone bring the food to my table?" She said, "We have people order and they're not even in the restaurant." I reminded her, "I entered the table number. How would I know which table number to enter if I wasn't already here? You guys didn't even call out my name or even look at the table to see if anyone was sitting at it." She just shrugged. Someone was just being lazy and providing poor service, instead of delivering the order to the table, as I had selected in the app (yes, this was a mobile app option that I chose). The iced tea was as I ordered, the fries were warm, and the Filet-o-Fish was cool in temperature. I already knew that I was going to submit a customer complaint to McDonald's online since the employee didn't seem to care. While I was there, I noticed dirty tables in this small McDonald's location. This place is open 24 hrs, and the drive thru line was long. Always friendly service.... all the food the masses seem to love and I have a better shot getting a Sundae here ( the machine works!). I also get to practice my Spanish sometimes. Since it is my name at McDonald's, or come here more often then I check in. They've recently remodeled and it looks nice. Today the table tops were clean and the floor was clean. Unfortunately, there only a few things that I like at McDonald's, the fries, fish fillet, Sundae's and occasional tenders meal.. the smell of this place is rough for me.. the oil I image that wafts in the air. All in all, it's the same Mickey D's that I've been coming to since I was a kid. Today 7-1-19 unfortunately all I wanted was an order a small fries. The person running the drive-through used all the fries and didn't drop any so I had to wait. We all know how long it takes to wait for french fries. Yes they're fresh but there was no apology or any sort of accommodation. It's 90° today.... no one offered me a cup even offer me a glass of water. Fail!! read more

This location should just close down. For a place that's supposed to be 24 hours, more often than not it's closed by 11pm. There is also a good chance that they'll get your order wrong. And there have been times when ordering through the app, they'll never get the order even though you paid and they'll say there is nothing the can do about it. Whoever owns this franchise location either needs it revoked or really put effort into this store. read more

I happened upon this restaurant after being beckoned from the road by these glowing golden arches. I went inside and was immediately greeted by the young servers. The menu was such a delight! Grilled beef set upon buns of warm baked bread. Like nothing I have ever encountered! They even added added a "house dressing", they said it was a very special sauce. How kind! The potatoes were sliced, julienne style, and sprinkled with salt to enhance their natural flavor. I quite enjoyed dipping them into a zesty barbecue sauce, ripe with spices and seasonings! Served in a convenient "to go" ramekin. How lovely! To top it all off , i sipped an oh so effervescent sweet drink of the gods. It's even locally made! I wish I could have met the chef, Mr. McDonald himself, to thank him for the experience. Recommend!! read more

I stopped by this McDonald's to pick up a Big Mac large combo ($6.99) and a 20-piece chicken McNuggets ($4.99) and encountered the friendliest Mickey D's staff ever. They were in such a good mood I swear it was like they had just won the lottery. I've never seen employees so happy to work at McDonald's. The lady I spoke with over the drive-thru speaker voluntarily gave me an assortment of sauces to try with the nuggets. The lady I met at the window (different person) greeted me with a big smile. To be honest, I was a little baffled at their overt kindness and generosity. I peeked into the store and it looked like the entire crew was having a good time. I'd like an order of what they're having! This Dunwoody McDonald's is hidden off of Chamblee Dunwoody Road. The main entrance is on Cotillion, but you can also enter from Chamblee Dunwoody if you make a right onto the small driveway immediately after the Shell gas station (if traveling northbound, away from I-285). The driveway has the golden arches painted onto it so you'll know you're going the right way. The restaurant's exterior and drive-thru area need better lighting at night. read more

Let me first say that McDonalds has really stepped up their pie game. Strawberry Cream... I'm looking at you. I eat here at all hours of the day several times a week. It's the second best McDonalds in all Metro Atlanta. But today, with that new fresh beef Quarter Pounder, (no ketchup, add Mac sauce), and the freshest crunchiest saltiest fries of all time, it just may be the best Ronald in action. Huge sign on the door AND the website say "Open 24 HOURS". So explain to me why all 4 employees and the lame manager are just sitting at the tables at 11am on a Wednesday with the doors locked? Food is always old, dried out. Service is really bad. Drive thru parking lot is difficult to navigate. Drive thru sign is not synced with order board. First sign shows 2nd speakers order. Okay so I try not to do reviews on fast food but this just needs to be said. Honestly I have never had service at a McDonalds as bad as I did last night with my boyfriend. The only reason why we went to McDonalds is because everything else was closed because it was late. We went through the drive thru and the guy through the speaker was RUDE from the start. The first thing he said was "what do you want?" we ordered two combos and 2 apple pies. After everything my boyfriend said to him the man taking the order replied with a LOUD HUGE "UHH?". He was not polite about it at all. We had to repeat the order 3 times. When we finally got to the window the order was lt wrong. We paid and did not get a receipt and he gave us our food and closed the window. He forgot the drinks and the apple pie. So we waited for him to come back and we had to tell him he forgot. This guy was not doing what he was supposed to be doing obviously. He was even wearing headphones. So that probably explains why he was not able to hear us through the speaker. Great service my favorite McDonald's near my house. Sometimes I go out of the way to go to this location. Always hot fries! Great customer service / friendly. I like to order a custom Mcflurry a lot and the only thing that could be better is to make sure I get extra toppings when I pay for extra toppings and also to mix the Mcflurry toppings into the cup. I know that McDonald's provided a mixer that will mix it for you. Nothing worse than getting extra toppings and then all of them are just sitting on the top and when I pull my spoon out... All of my toppings that I paid extra for go all over my pants, shirt, car Etc. "Back to work with icecream stains all over me.". But other than that you guys rock!! read more

There is a sign clear as day that says "mask are required". I was waiting for my food for over 10 min but was willing to because the food is usually hot. However, a privileged white woman walks in without a mask. I asked the manager (who looked Mexican or Hispanic) if mask are required per the sign. He said nothing. The woman then said "I'm vaccinated" and I commented "that's great for you, but others in here may or may not be AND the vaccine doesn't absolve wearing a mask". She said she had a mobile order and it was fine. I said "but you're standing waiting in here with me and other people putting us at risk" she then said "you're wearing your mask so you're fine". The manager refunded me my money and walked away. White privilege at its finest. I will not come back to this or any Macdonald's. Hispanic manager here is extremely rude and dismissive. Stopped by here after church Sunday August 5th. Politely asked him to warn (melt) the cheese on my hamburger. This McDonalds has an easy drive through layout - with two entrances (one on Chamblee Dunwoody between the shell and the BP, and the second on the 285 service road in the east bound direction). I've never been inside this restaurant, but my drive through experience has always been positive. The drive through staff are friendly, upbeat and quick to get you through and on your way. read more

I visited this particular location last night because it is right next to my condo and my order came out to $3.42 or something. I paid with my credit card, the cashier went to fix my order. He never gave me my receipt nor I asked for one. This morning, I checked my credit card transaction online and the charge to my account was $8.56. I went back to talk to the manager but he was rude and he quickly turn it around to make it my fault by saying I should have asked for the receipt and I should make dispute claims with my credit card company. The worst uncaring group of employees and owner operator I have ever seen in my life they have learn the art of smiling but don't give a care in real life.
