For a long time this McDonalds was always pretty good and I do miss it's old design compared to it's new one. But at least for the most part, it was always clean, always had good and speedy service, and the food was always overall good. It was also fun in the past with seeing how much fun the play place used to be to go to. Especially when you've seen it since the early 2000s when it used to have a ball pit, and then video games, and then just stuck to being like its own playground full of stuff to do. Short story, long, I was at the McDonald's here and ordered a Big Mac, with a water and I told the lady I was Sitting in the restaurant. But, they instead thought else. Another girl with my same name came in the drive thru and they gave her MY ORDER. Assuming the lady would speak up and make it known it was not hers, she didn't, since she ordered one cookie, this mistake was an upgrade. I told them I never got my order, and the worker name Hamilton started arguing with me. He claims I was being a liar, and I just wanted extra food, and they weren't gonna put up with customers like me. I was angry. I asked for the manager, and she told me what happened. I got my order, yet when I look inside the bag I get a Big Mac with a bite in it. My water also was warm with no ice. I ran up to the counter complaining, and with the managers needless apologies, she checked the camera and saw Hamilton had SABOTAGED my order! I eventually got my order, yet Hamilton was not FIRED! You're telling me HE STILL HAS THAT JOB?! What kind of manager keeps a disloyal, rude, and ignorant worker??? This McDonald's is at Rock bottom!!!!!! IT SUCKS! read more

Lent is here, can McDonald's Filet-o-Fish sandwich be far behind? As the only time of year that I darken the Golden Arches with my presence, this steamed bun fish beauty has always been my fast food clickbait. Keep the McRib, shove the McTaco or whatever alliterative name game they're playing in McDonaldland, the Filet-o-Fish is perfect. So soft and flaky, swimming in tartar sauce and melted cheese, even an aqualung with no teeth can gum one down in less than twenty seconds. Thankfully, it's not called the McFish only because it came to us in the 1950's before electricity and the marketing linguists ran wild courtesy of a Cincinnati franchisee who wanted a reason for his Catholic customers to patronize his burger joint during Lent. McDonald's founder Ray Kroc was so impressed that he decided to stop development of his own Lenten sandwich allegedly called the Hula Burger (a slice of pineapple on a bun with tartar sauce... yuck!) Mercifully, we've been spared Kroc's unholy creation in favor of seafood perfection that is still ringing the register at 400 million served. I don't believe a lukewarm pineapple slice slathered in mayonnaise would have moved the needle quite so far. At least I hope not. The people here are pretty nice- although every time I've come here I've had something wrong with my order. I ordered nuggets and got a fish filet- they fixed it no issue. Last time, I got a large fry and was given a medium. I always check my receipt to make sure I didn't just say something wrong; and I didn't. Just needs improvement with that, i believe. If you go to Mc Donalds on 130 and Dutch Neck, use the drive- through. Inside eating exposes you to an inept staff, no drink refills and little English among customers. Better to use drive through and leave. Old store was much better. I will not return. read more

Is it just me, or since they upgraded the entire property the service is times worse? The have multiple order stations; a pay window; two pick up windows, compared the the old one window setup....and every time I order, I'm shipped to the next window, or separate parking spot...waiting longer for my simple order. ‍ This place needs better management to right the ship of the order wait time. I've been patronizing this location for the past 12 years. Pros: friendly staff (some who have been here for many years), clean dining room, consistent food quality. Cons: the dining room is usually understaffed offering just one cashier - with too much emphasis placed on the drive thru. Plus, the playground has broken games. read more

I went there plenty of times and sometimes they forget to put sauces in the bag I'm not a real stickler on this but if someone asks for sauce and they acknowledge it you should get the sauce right? Well this manager gives me 2 PACKETS OF KETCHUP for a large meal and I also asked for ranch. All I gotta say as a previous fast food employee forgetting someone's sauce can be a big deal towards the business it's a small thing but small things can make others mad so just giving a heads up to the workers just make sure you double check what's on the order before handing it out it would cause less trouble on the pace and I know it could be hard to keep track of but if you are a manager you should be on top of that! After McDonald's started the fresh cooked burgers we moved from Smashburgers. We were amazed by how juicy the new burgers were and did not mind to wait. Well that has all gone out the window, the last two times I went the burgers were premade, dried out bricks.. New it would not last. read more

Food was okay, fast service. Workers seemed pretty rude however. I was on my way out throwing out my trash and dropped a napkin on the wet floor near the wet floor sign. They immediately reacted as if they were watching my friends and shouted at me to "pick it up". I was almost in shock that they would tell an adult, to pick it up. I can understand why it looked rude for me to perhaps have left the single napkin on the wet floor, but from my perspective I thought it wouldn't be the slightest of a problem. I picked it up and apologized out loud, ultimately listening to what they had said. I work in the customer service industry and know they did not handle the situation in the most respectful manner. Maybe they just had a long day, and I can understand that. This is my hometown McDonalds and I will definitely be back, but in the drive thru to avoid a loogie in my food. read more

At 9:10 pm I ordered breaded chicken burger meal and upgrade beverage to vanilla shake. Very sorry to say the fries were cold wilted and dry, sandwich chicken was cold too, but shake was ok. The absolute worst Mikey D's around!!! Went at 6pm for the new all day breakfast and was told all we could get was a McMuffin!!! No Big Breakfast? No McGriddle? not even a biscuit???? Really??? Sometimes it is hard to choose between McDonalds, Wendy's and Burger King because they are all in the same location but this mcdonalds is open 24-7 and the staff has always been helpful and friendly. They always give extra dipping sauces and it is very clean. read more

Friendly staff but sometimes very slow in the drive thru. Even better, the ice cream surprisingly works most of the time when I go there and I get a shake. Only one time I was pissed off when I said 'don't put whipped cream on the shake' and they still give me the whipped cream. read more

I've come here often enough to anticipate the service I'll get from the person that's behind the counter. All in all, I like this McDonalds...the steak egg mcmuffin is my go-to breakfast sandwich. It reminds me of a really good cheesesteak. I like to wash it down with orange juice. Their unsweetened and sweetened ice tea is good too...I like to mix both. And if I'm trying to be "healthy" I'll order their oatmeal which has apples and dried cranberries in it. Another plus about this place is their free wifi. read more

Normal McDonald's to a degree... the English is not a true first language most of the time and I'm not knocking the workers because of their background by any means but for God sake's learn to speak English if you are working the speaker. If I order something and I get the most distorted thing back then we are not communicating effectively. This bothers me when we are finalizing my order because then I need to check everything before I leave. Food is standard McDonald's. The worst McDonalds I've ever been to. You can't rate a fast food place on just one visit but every time I go here they screw up. I've been charged more than what is on the menu even with the tax calculated in. I didn't argue because I was hungry and in a rush apart from the fact that most of them don't speak much English. Another time I ordered ketchup at the drive thru where it's shown on the display but I ended up not getting any ketchup. Then there was a big lump of green lint in with my fries so I had to throw then out. read more
