Everything the service the cleanliness everything is bad there the management is bad and it's just filthy

I guess I'll join the club of dissatisfied Yelpers that have given this location a 1-star. I drove in here expecting fast and good service because this building is so large, and location is in a good spot next door to Wendy's down on 9 Mile near Kelly Road. WRONG!! At 9:20 I pulled in to order a iced vanilla cappuccino for the special of $2 after shopping at East Detroit Bakery in route to my MOM'S. I Waited 1 minute at the drive-thru speaker to hear a distorted voice say hello welcome to McDonald's, with bad speaker static. I could not understand the person's name who took my EASY Order. I requested a iced vanilla cappuccino for $2. She asked me" did you want that hot or cold ?" and I said iced and that was all I wanted and she said pull up to the drive-thru pay window. I paid the girl at the first window $2.12 exact change and pulled up to still waited 5 minutes behind another car who was at the drive to the pick up window. Finally my turn. The girl open the window I did not see a name tag I did not get a name and she asked what my order was? Really? There was nobody behind me, there was only one car in front of me. Why ask me what my order is A 3RD TIME ? I said an iced vanilla cappuccino. She hands me my coffee and said here you go sorry for the wait. When I pulled away I turned right to cut down a side street to go up to 10 mile realising my coffee IS HOT ! ( took a photo of it ).. not worth the drive to go back. I WILL NEVER, ever come back to this McDonald's for breakfast, lunch or dinner!! Maybe that's why the billboard out front says they are"HIRING.. I suppose the current employees" working there right now cannot comprehend iced or hot coffee terminology?? Need a dictionary? I definitely will do a survey and hopefully I'll be able to get my free quarter pounder with cheese elsewhere?? DO NOT, REPEAT DO NOT GO HERE. On Sunday morning the 28th of January (3 days ago) I was coming out of this place and walked across the UNSALTED parking lot to my car. Only got halfway there and WENT DOWN, HARD, ON MY LEFT ARM with my drink flying one way & me the other because of completely BLACK ICE that was totally unsalted. I slowly picked myself up and went back inside to let SOMEONE working there have it. I called a young girl over to the counter and started to tell her what happened and as I did, what I imagine was the Manager came to listen for about a whole 10-15 seconds. Both of them, who were completely oblivious, even thought to let alone asked if I was alright, never mind even a simple apology!! Then they both just turned & walked away. THAT IS UTTERLY INEXCUSABLE! THEN I had to ask the girl to replace my drink without them offering. Order still wrong, went in for a refund with another patron bragging how he got his food in 5mins, and the fries were hot. I placed a simple order. Paid $60 to have it delivered. I only received half my meal. The Diet Coke was absolutely horrible. I did not get fries with my meals. Honestly I don't know how this location still gets customers. I can honestly say I don't think I've ever gotten my order from here and it was correct. There is always something wrong missing sauce, wrong food item, missing food items, and even sometimes extra items that I didn't even order. This morning I stopped to pick up a quick on the go breakfast for my wife and I. Ordered 2 sausage egg and cheese McMuffins. Drive off and shortly realized there was no egg. Man I really wanted to give this place good reviews after the newly remodeled but big mistake on my part. Same old BS here expect to be waiting LONG...I get it they allows special needs people to help but you DON'T put those special needs people on the speaker when you're ordering your food and then only to pull up to where you pick up your food at the window and they have no idea what you ordered...... because the FIRST PERSON to enter it in where you PAID mess that up!!!! The employees never follow the customer orders correctly. Why ask me what do I want if your going to give me what you want me to have anyway. I asked for sweet n sour sauce for my daughter in her Happy Meal and they gave her honey mustard. Now I have to go all the way back to this McDonald's and wait in line all to exchange the sauce all while my daughter food gets cold. I have traveled up and down the east coast for work and eaten in many fast food joints. This McDonald's is by far the worst I have ever had the misfortune to visit. The drive thru is so slow you could order at a sit down restaurant and get your food faster the service is horrible with most of the employees usually having attitudes and then when you get your order that you have to pick thru what they don't have even though it's on their menu you open your bag to find mine times out of ten they got it wrong often missing parts of the order or giving stale buns or burnt fries. This place is a joke. Cold food & crappy service. I brought my kids here to play in the play place and the play set is literally touching the ceiling & on the ceiling is a vent that's blowing out heat into the place set. Whole room and play set is atleast 85 degrees. My kids are dripping sweat. We couldn't even stay 30 mins. The service is is absolutely TERRIBLE!!! The night manager turns the lights out often to make the restaurant appear closed. The shake machine is always "Down" at night! I went through the drive-tru about 10:30 pm a couple days ago, no one said anything, I drove around to the window to find a yolung lady standing there, I blew my horn and asked are you all open, she replied rudely with a very bad attitude to hold on, 5 minutes later I did the same thing, she then yells at another male employee to "take her order"! the young man was standing besides her on his cell phone, he didn't budge. I really don't even eat fast food anymore, but omg this is the worst McDonalds anyone could ever go to. It doesn't matter how many people are in line ahead of you, you could be the only one, at any time of the day or night, and it will still take 15 minutes to get your burger and fries. And it's probably wrong too. I've had two times where the guy at the window didn't give me my change back. I had to wait while they recounted the drawer to make sure I wasn't lying. When I got my change back, they didn't even offer me anything, like a free drink or small fry or anything. I've had many times, and my boyfriend too, where you get to the second window, and they give us the wrong food, and have to ask, again, what we ordered. I really don't think it's that hard to press pre-made buttons on a machine, and then read the screen and make what it tells you. I have no idea who is managing this location, but they are doing a horrible job. I'm surprised corporate hasn't noticed or done anything about it. I really don't eat McDonalds anymore, but if I have the craving for it, or even just an ice cream, I'll drive to the little better location that is about 2 miles away. Another UberEats headache because of the laziness and incompetent employees here. I always try to use a different McDonald's when using my app but this was the only one available. Watched the delivery driver show up and wait 15 minutes for my order. Then all of a sudden the app was searching for another driver. I managed to argue on the phone with UberEats customer service for 30 minutes and still my order wasn't on the way. Ended up getting lucky that the 8 and Kelly location popped up and got my order in less than 25 minutes. This 9 mile location is pathetic. They need a complete new staff that knows what they are doing managers included. They should just shut this location down since they can't get anything right read more

Pros: Although inconsistent, sometimes you get a Big Mac or Fries the way they used to make it or better like, "Back in the olden days" Way better than the Mc D's on 8 mile near Eastland where you may wait 1 hr in the drive through while a teenage girl finishes her convo on the phone. (-2 stars for that location) There are some employees here that work hard. Cons: Some items are undercooked. Big Mac or double cheeseburger with unmelted cheese? Check. Big Mac with untoasted bun? Check. The pop tastes like Teem (do you remember Teem pop?) every time, whatever flavor you get. There are some employees that don't work so hard. They have the gall to charge 4 bucks for a 10 piece McNugget (it may well be on sale franchise wide at the moment but...) Mc D's locations that rock: 11 1/2 mile & Gratiot (fast, quick and usually friendly) 15 mile and Utica, this place has the most consistently good service and good food. Wish I could give less than 1 star... This location is filthy. On my way to work I always get a Diet Coke, it's my caffeine since I don't drink coffee. This location takes forever, even when no one is in line (drive thru or inside ) I've came here numerous times now, given it a second, third, fourth chance.. I'm done LOL The pop prices always change for a Large Diet Coke, from $1.00, $1.06, $1.37, $1.97?! I can't believe it, and the pop taste disgusting. It literally has a cardboard taste. My best friend came over with her daughter (3 year old) she stopped here to get a Large Diet Coke and Large UnSweet Tea, even my friend said something about how gross her unsweet tea was, her little girl asked her 'Yuck, what is that Mom'. (and why shouldn't you be...), you would know that I only write a review for a fast food joint if something -- service, price, extra courteous employees, etc. -- stands out REALLY GOOD or REALLY BAD! The ONE star should be your cue! So this is a typical Mickey D and I have eaten at least 7 or 8 times here before and I NEVER had this experience. When I went through the drive through late one evening, I ordered from their value menu and a CUP OF WATER. When I looked at the display, they charged me TWENTY FIVE CENTS for a f**king cup of WATER! Now I know economy in Michigan is in the dumps but if you are a restaurant owner, wouldn't you do ANYTHING in your power to keep your edge and have your customers COME BACK to your establishments ESPECIALLY if there is another one JUST LIKE IT less than 5 miles from where you are? I guess I was visibly upset when I asked the cashier to TAKE THE WATER OFF MY TAB because she, in what COULD have passed as an apology, said that she does not make the rules. "Two large cokes please." "We don't have no cups large cups." No options offered. No "we can do a medium " or apologies or coupons offered.
