I am extremely dissatisfied with the way this situation was handled and the complete lack of accountability I experienced at McDonald's. I purchased a pancakes and sausage breakfast meal, only to get home and discover there were no utensils, syrup, or butter included. Since I did not have syrup or butter at home, the meal I paid for was completely unusable and ended up going uneaten. Later that same day, I returned to the restaurant and spoke with a manager while purchasing an iced tea. I explained what had happened, and she assured me she would speak with the manager Chelsea working the next day and that my meal would be replaced. When I returned the following day, I was told I could only receive a single breakfast item and not the full meal I had already paid for and was promised would be replaced. I was told this decision came directly from the general manager. That is unacceptable. I paid for a complete meal, was unable to eat it because of the restaurant's mistake, and then was expected to pay again to replace what should have been corrected in full. The most disappointing part of this experience is the lack of honesty and follow-through. A promise was made, and your management team failed to honor it. Customer trust matters, and this experience made it clear that standing behind your word was not a priority. I regularly use the drive-thru at this McDonald's and spend a decent amount of money here, but the customer service is incredibly rigid and unhelpful. On this visit, I accidentally selected "dine-in" instead of "drive-thru" on the mobile app (my mistake, sure). I was already in the drive-thru, and instead of simply handing me my order, I was told I'd have to wait for 5-6 cars ahead of me and then come inside to pick it up, because of one wrong button selection. No effort to help, no flexibility, just "that's the policy." For a fast-food place, that's frustrating and unnecessary. We ordered through the app, and ordering with the drive-through code at the intercom was seamless. There was a long line, but it moved quickly and efficiently. The staff were very friendly, greeting us with a smile and asking us how we were doing. Our order was given to us with 100% accuracy. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. I love fresh McDonald's fries. The seasoning on my DQP was perfect. I'm not sure why the ratings for this particular Mcdonald's location are so low, considering this location has a consistency of correct orders, hot fries and napkins always in the bag. I always order unsweetened tea and iced coffees here, and both drinks are always fresh and well made. I've had many encounters unfortunately of stale tasting tea or very excessively bitter coffee at other Mcdonald's locations, except this one. read more

By the time I drove away from the drive thru, I was in a bit of shock... in a good way. Could it be that I actually got what I ordered? Did I actually get all 7 items correctly in the bag?!? Yes I did. Was the food hot? Yes it was. Did the super long line with 7 cars ahead of me clear out pretty darn fast? So fast did it all occurred under 9 minutes!? Yes it did. Was it a weekday at 12:17 pm when I was there? Yes it was. Was the customer service good? Yes it was. The cashier (who was also the voice over the intercom) was polite and engaging. Kudos to the entire crew, they were cranking out the orders. I was pleasantly surprised because the food and order accuracy in the past has been a bit inconsistent. Despite the unorganized drive-thru, the food was decent and the workers at the drive-thru window were pretty friendly. Whoever was running the shift that night I applaud you for having such kind workers as this is not usually the level of service I receive when I occasionally goto this location in EDH. The only issue was that they ended up charging me for the wrong order and then refunded me but the whole process took almost 15 minutes with quite a few cars behind me.
