Brainwashed into collecting things I don't need, I've been on the hunt for the Hello Kitty x Godzilla Happy Meal toys. I saw online they had Badtz-Maru, so I placed a mobile order and made my way over. The order was ready when I arrived; I opened the box, hoping to find the toy I wanted, but it was a different one. (One I didn't have, so I wasn't that upset.) I ended up ordering another meal in store and got the one I wanted. I wasn't intending on collecting the set, but now I just need Cinnamoroll (#6 of the collection), so if anyone spots one, please let me know! This location has a play area and drive-thru. It was pretty clean, an employee was also sweeping the outside when I arrived. Heard the fried apple pies came back .. I'm not sure if it's for a limited time or for good but I had to go get some! I missed these pies! Wayyyyy better than the baked ones .. they're soooo good omg! If you have never had one .. you must go get one! I highly recommend having one for dessert or even as a snack! So I asked can fries heat match chicken and fish sandwich heat. I'm told I got you. Pull to wait spot 1 for 4 minutes after paying 29.31 for two meals. It was almost hot fish sandwich fries were not at all fresh and still forgot bbq sauce, even after saying I got you. I'm a disabled care provider who had to get back out the car because he didn't wait to see if my order was correct then I had to raise my black voice to be heard on the inside. We need placed a breakfast order before 10:30 AM and drove over to get our food. Sat in the line for 10 minutes before getting to the kiosk only to be told that because it was after 10:30 AM, they could not honor the order. Our credit card had already been charged and we were told by the manager Treng that it would take 3-5 days for the refund. She did offer to make our breakfast but we had to pay again because of the changing over from breakfast to lunch. She explained that the order had been canceled in the app (even though we were charged on our credit card). We paid again (used a different card so we could track the refund) and then were told to wait in a drive through pick up area. Because Treng rang us up for three iced teas instead of a mocha frappe and iced mocha we ordered, it took three tries for the person to bring us our correct order. I'm not sure why she rang it up as three iced teas but that's why there was a price difference between the app and the in person payment. We have had so many issues at this Mc Donald's (double charges, order errors, food temperature, freshness) that we are going to stop using this location. read more

Don't go to this McDonald's! Food and Service was so bad that I'm taking time out of my busy morning to write this review. Either you write a review because something was sooooo good or very bad. I don't have time for this! I had a mobile order. Give my code at the drive thru. The guy just said first window. Not is everything correct is there anything else you need? I told him at the speaker "please make the bread extra toasted on my breakfast sandwich" he replies "I'll let them know". I get to the window get my receipt and reiterate "the bread is extra toasted" in the middle of my sentence he nods his head and makes a hand gesture of "shew" he was blowing me off "move along". What the hell! I get to the window and the "extra toasted" request just made it to the cook line as I was getting my beverage. I said yeah that is my order. Please just the bread extra toasted. They take the food back and ask me to park 5 minutes past I go in and ask for my food. It was not extra toasted. It's 830 I need to get kids to school at 835. I'm pissed at this point. I left with not only and undercooked breakfast sandwiches but also my hash-brown was completely undercooked and broke in half because it was limp soaked in oil. I usually never go to this location! So I won't be returning to this McDonald's off Elk Grove Blvd. Hope to save other customers from the same experience it seems so many of us have at this location, based on all these 1 star reviews. Been coming here early in the morning for the past couple of days. I love that they open early, as I place my mobile order and pick up before my morning work commute. They quality of the food has been consistently fresh (my hash brown was perfectly cooked & crisped) and food was packaged with care. The staff I've encountered has also been consistently friendly. I live close to this location and come here often and over the last year it's has gotten really bad. The service is AWFUL and every time, with out fail, my order is wrong. Just tonight I went through the drive thru and the guy at window didn't greet me or say one word to me. Ok, whatever... but then I checked and my order was missing items. I drove back around to the window and requested my missing items. He acted as if I was inconveniencing HIM, and had a really bad attitude. Shoved the missing items in my hand and walked away. SO RUDE! I tried to call to speak to the manager because when I got home I realized my order was still missing items (happy meal apple slices) but their phone line is not in service. I went here on 9/10 at around 5:20pm and I ordered a 2B (quarter pounder bacon) and i added lettuce and mac sauce. When i got my order, i had no mac sauce, lettuce, OR bacon. I'm not one to usually complain, but i had to go back. I went through the drive thru, and they were nice and said park in spot B and we'll make it for you. 20MINS!!! pass by and i still don't have my food. (I also ordered 3 cookies and a Large fry) which were cold bc how long i waited. Once the lady came out to bring the food to ANOTHER parked car in front of me i asked her to take my receipt inside to remake it. She then came back out with my order, and when i opened it, it still didn't have any lettuce on it like i ORDERED. Like i said i don't like conflict so i just ate my burger, and i work fast food i know how it can get back there, but messing up twice with the receipt LITERALLY ON THE BOX, is kinda crazy. The floor was sticky, two tables plus the one next to us had food on it, the floor hadn't been swept for a long time since several pieces of food was on the floor. We added to the food kiosk sauces and ketchup and there were none in our order which means having to go back since the counter person can't do his job right. Usually decent when I come here, however, today, 4/19 from noon till 12:30, they couldn't figure out their unsweet tea situation. Being diabetic, I ordered an unsweet and was handed a sweet tea at the window. I tried it, mentioned it was sweet, they tried again, and not wanting to back up the drive thru line, I parked and went in since it was still sweet. When I went in, I was informed they mixed up the teas, and they had to make a fresh batch of unsweet I beleive was said. When that finally came out, it was just really watered down sweet tea. I mentioned this and they tried again. Finally around 12:28 they gave me a 4th tea, and said have a nice day. I tried it. I can't tell if it's sweet or not because whatever they use to brew it, is IN the tea. It's gritty, it's thick, murky, and just tastes like I'm trying to suck the tea out of a broken teabag. I've wasted too much time here so far, so I just tossed it out on the way to the car and chalk it up to a lesson learned. read more

Sad but true that this place has really come down in customer service, speed/efficiency, and cleanliness. We waited 20+ minutes for 2 large fries. The manager who handed them to me did not apologize. The employees seem to have turned over as the more reliable employees don't seem to be there anymore and there's a bunch of employees who cannot keep either the order line nor the food delivery line down so you have a bunch of people who are either waiting to order or waiting for their orders to be filled. The sweet tea container and the ketchup dispensers have also been consistently out at this location. Seriously, how hard is it to keep those filled?? My kids like coming here because they like the playplace, which sadly is much dirtier now and also there's no more cleaning wipes (like you would see at supermarkets) like there used to be here. This brand new McDonald's needs to either be shut down or the franchise taken over by corporate. I drove towards the drive thru and it looked like a multi-lane parking lot. I decided to walk in. I walked up to the counter and waited and waited and waited. Finally an employee walked by me and after handing food to a Uber Driver, took my order. "What do you want?" Number 2 A. Replied, "It's going to take awhile." Twenty minutes later a worker said, "They are working on yours." Five minutes after that a cold burger and dried out fries were in my hand. The cheese on the burger hadn't even melted. Ten minutes into my wait a woman walked up to the counter and asked for catsup. An employee said, "We're out!" The lady replied, "Are you kidding me?"
