Recent trip home I went an alternate route. This alternate route took me through an area I had never been before. Nearing lunchtime I was hungry and pulled off at the nearest exit I was at and find someplace to cure that hunger inside. Unfortunately, that just happened to be at a McDonald's. I had no idea where I was at when I pulled in here. Being a college town, it was obvious as soon as I walked in what was happening here. Being so, this was one of the busiest dining rooms I have seen in a McDonald's in a long time. Ordered via kiosk, waited at my table, food was delivered. I ate my food and tried to escape into my phone with my noise cancelling headphones. Food was on par, and what you would expect. Being busy, the food was fresh. However, the food was put together in a rush and was a bit of a mess when it was delivered. I will give them props because they didn't just focus on the drive thru here. Anyone who craves McDonald's like I do should stop by here to satiate it! I've been getting lunch and dinner regularly here for the past three or so years, and the food is top-notch; well, at least my nugget meal is anyways. The food is consistently a nice balance between being crispy and soft while not being undercooked. Sure, there have been some errors made at times (one time I got a nugget that was just crunchy bread - no chicken), but those errors are few and far in between and anything can be redone if I catch them before I go when I'm having takeout. The staff are also pleasant to interact with; exemplary in accepting requests or inquiries, and handle delays really well. Management needs retrained. Recently visited this location, the drive through was about a 20 min wait to get through. Very long lines and the young people inside didn't seem to have much help. This is definitely a management issue that is not properly trained not the young staff hired trying the best they can. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would! The owner refused to talk to me about a very serious matter! I got a side salad figuring it would be alittle better than a fry, WRONG! I received a salad that had what looked to be semen. Absolutely DISGUSTING! They sent it away to be tested by their insurance company who won't call me back and tell me what the substance was. The owner refuses to have any contact with me to make this matter right. They've also had people post pictures of moldy hamburger buns! Restaurant was absolutely infested with flies, throughout the kitchen (crew were visibly swatting them away while prepping food) and in the dining area. Unidentified dead insect (see photo) on windowsill. Bits of paper trash on floor throughout. McD's app allowed me to order and pay for Grand Big Mac; totally confused the staff on duty, who told me it was unavailable and offered me a regular Big Mac instead. Lame. read more

About three hours after our last McDonald's expedition came a very sudden and surprise stop at this one to reset my colon. The drive thru was fairly busy. Thankfully the inside was not. Charged us double for a number three , we also got 10 piece chicken nuggets . Asked for two ranch and two buffalo with our nugget meal and they only gave us one sauce total . We went back up to ask for the other sauces we orded and we were refused more sauce because the manager said she put it all in . We told her we had one sauce and she again refused to put it in after we double checked the bag so we brought her up the bag to check herself and she didn't check it and said on the side to an employee whatever he wants more sauce get him one more not more . We stopped by this McDonald's a few days ago on a trip to Gettysburg in order to get coffee and perhaps lunch. It was about 11 am - plenty of staff were behind the counter with manager and they seemed to be ramping up for the lunch crowd. It's an older store and on the smaller side. I walked into the women's room. It was filthy, completely filthy. The toilets were dirty inside and out and the sink area had hair on it. There was a female staff member int the bathroom at the time who seemed not to notice or care. I walked back out and then looked more at the general cleanliness of the store. Generally speaking, it was not good. The windows and surfaces were smudged and needed a good cleaning. I got my coffee and left. I decided to not to buy food based on my observations. read more

We pulled into the drive thru at 10:35AM. The breakfast menu was still up so we ordered breakfast food. The cashier told us it wasn't breakfast and we had to order something else. Ok, whatever. We went inside to order. This McDonald's is small and filthy. The bathroom was out of this world disgusting. The smell! Ugh!!! My nose was burning. Wow. What an absolute rip off. I went through the drive through and ordered coffee and 2 egg and cheese mcmuffins. $9.83!!!! What?! I thought I was at McDonalds. If I'm paying $9.83, I don't want egg mcmuffins from McDonalds. I can pay that at a diner and get 2 large pancakes, hash browns, and a coffee. If there's anything you expect from McD's, it's fast and cheap. This was NOT cheap. By the way, they didn't even get my order right. I got ham on my mcmuffins. This is a totally fine McDonalds. Small. Classic look. Reasonably nice employees. As clean as you would expect a McDonalds to be. My guess is that the low star rating is just a consequence of people who had bad experiences being more likely to rate and comment than people who have "normal" experiences. read more

The clerk and manager were most helpful helping me select from their menu, including alternatives to their selections. Service was prompt. The restaurant and the bathroom were clean an neat. The seating area was nicely decorated; appropriately the season. This was one of the smaller McDonald's I've been to; It is quaint. The pleasant staff made it all the more hospitable. read more

This was the most frustrating drive-thru experience of my life! We were traveling home the day after Christmas, and we needed a pick-me-up on the drive, so we stopped at the first McDonalds we saw. When we pulled in, there were 6 cars ahead of us. Ordering and payment were smooth (except I didn't receive my receipt). The car in front of us pulled out after they were at the first window. So, we were happy that maybe it would move more quickly. Well, we finally pulled up to window 2 after about 7 minutes from the time we pulled in. We received our drinks immediately, but then we sat for exactly 10 minutes at window 2 waiting for our food: the quarter pounder meal and a 2-cheeseburger meal. We FINALLY received our food, but without fries! We had to wait another 3 minutes to receive our fries. By the time we pulled out...20 minutes later...the line of cars was wrapped around the building and we saw about 5 cars leave. Miserable experience. You can bet that we will NEVER stop at this location on our many trips from Pennsylvania to Virginia. read more

This Mcdonalds is awful. I usually order a breakfast sandwich and a latte here. More often than not my food is cold or prepared incorrectly, as well as the coffee. Very disappointed, went through the drive-thru Sunday morning and ordered a sausage mcmuffin meal with an ice tea without ice. I was handed the ice tea and the lid popped off pouring tea all over me and throughout my new Expedition. The clerk said that happens sometimes when there is no ice.
