There are a few key items that are essential to a McDonald's dining experience. These items become even more essential when you work a graveyard shift. One of those items is french fries. Another is hot apple pies. Last night, this McDonald's managed to provide NEITHER for my team. This is a supreme failure. It's McDonald's. Your typical McDonald's restaurant. Being a "single girl in the city" I tend to drive through WAY too often. I live and work close by so it's all too convenient to just drive on through on my way home. It's right off of Arapahoe and I25 so I'm sure I'm not alone. The cashiers are friendly and, since I drive through pretty often, they greet me warmly. The fries have been hit or miss at times. I've had some orders that haven't been as hot and fresh as I'd like. The fries ARE what bring most of us to McDonald's so that can be a bummer. It hasn't happened a ton of times, I hesitate to even mention it, but for the sake of objectivity, there it is. This has to be a McDonald's of higher caliber. The restaurant is well kept. They have multiple televisions to watch for your enjoyment. The only issue I have is they run Faux News or CNN them. Buckle up boys and girls. This is the worst experience I have ever had in my life. If yelp would let me no star I would. Now my boyfriend and I go to McDonald's and to get a few basic things. Fries, Chicken Nuggets, some cokes. And they somehow forget one of our cokes and one of our fries. And the fries we did receive were cold. So we get to a stoping point and call them. We were very polite describing the situation and they said one second then hung up on us. So I called again explained again what happened trying to be polite as I was a bit frustrated. They then say hold on pull up to the second window. Now this where I get pissed. There is a massive line and they expected me to wait in the line. They then say one second and leave me on hold without hitting mute, so I guess just set the phone down. Now let me tell you this. I was on hold for 20 MINUTES going back through that line. I get to the front. And some Mexican lady was very nice to help us. Then her manager Anita, if that's even her name walks up and claims she just got here and doesn't understand the situation. My boyfriend was very kind and explained that we were upset because we got left on hold and had to wait (we were still on hold while talking to them) and she was very persistent saying she just got to work and wouldn't give us the employees name that answered the phone. We then got her name and drive away WHILE STILL ON HOLD they then start talking crap and laughing at us and we hear Anita say that she "lied to us for them and said she just got her" so I'm assuming that was a total lie. I want to thank this particular McDonalds for actually having the lobby open for takeout during this ridiculous Wuhan virus lock down BS. Last night I was driving around with my teenage daughter who is getting cabin fever from this forced deviation from her normal routine (school, work and health club). I was hungry and needed a bathroom. I tried 2 other McDonalds and their front door was locked. Finally, at this McDonalds, the door was open at 9:30 PM and I was able to order my triple cheeseburger and large fry. Bother were fresh and hot. I ate it in my car in the parking lot. Let me preface this with my length of experience with this location. I have been going to this location regularly (And I mean regularly, 3-5 times a week) for nearly 9 years. Back when the lobby was oven 24/7 this was a high tier McDonalds. In the last 2 or so years, since around 2017 this McDonalds has been consistently one of the worst locations I have ever been to. And this isn't based off of an experience or two, this is based off of hundreds of experiences through out all times of day. I used to know two of the managers here and they were excellent, but now the turn over rate in this location is so extremely high often times I saw entirely new staff between visits. Anyone who has McDonlads regularly will know you'll get bad buns, bad chicken patties, flat drinks, and cold fries sometimes. Especially in off hours. But at this McDonalds those have become the norm, not the exception. I'm sure McDonalds policies aren't the problem, it's the employees and managers causing the issue. I have drastically reduced my frequency of this location as I've attempted to branch out more often to other near by spots, and still when I stop at this one I get bad food. My last stop a friend and I ordered 4 McChickens, 1 big mac, 1 fry, and 2 drinks. The chicken patties were actually good, but one, and only one, of the McChickens had the stalest bun I have ever got from McDonalds. The edges were like croutons. This is often an intermittent problem with any food service dealing with bread products. But it is easily solved by a manager who cares about food quality, and a staff who uses their brains. Do not leave bags of bread products open to the air, and feel the bread as you make the food. If the bread is questionable, throw it out. As of the time I'm writing this, this location has gone from the gold standard for McDonalds, to being the one I avoid most. It's funny, in around 2012 the location east of this one down arapahoe road was an abysmal location, extremely dirty, like movie theater floor levels of sticky in the lobby, with a junk staff of highschoolers. The manager once told me when I mentioned how bad that location was that they would remake food nearly daily for customers heading down the road from that other location disappointed. McDonalds really needs to focus on staff retention and promoting good managers. read more

About the past 3/5 times my husband and I have visited this store, their credit card machine is down and they are only accepting cash. This is usually between 1 and 3 am. There is typically a long line at this time, with people ahead and behind us. We are then forced to wait in this line (up to 15 minutes) just so we can get the heck out of here!! We are tired, hungry, have just gotten off work and want to get home. This is unacceptable for a fast food business. What the heck is going on with the credit card machines?! This McDonald's does the job you expect from a McDonald's- reliable food and low prices. The employees are friendly and the drive-through line moves well even when they are busy. The other plus is that I've never had an issue with them getting my order wrong. This location isn't too bad on the inside, as it appears to have been recently remodeled and is usually relatively clean. It does have an old style of menu boards though compared to what you see in many locations these days. The outside is another story as it has not been remodeled. It looks like a location built at least 30 years ago without any exterior changes. There are a couple things that make me less than enthusiastic about this location. One is people bringing in cups from outside and filling up at the soda station without paying. This despite a very prominent sign telling people that is prohibited. I have seen the same woman do it multiple times as if it is completely acceptable. I find this to be really low rent and not the kind of person I want to sit in a restaurant with, even if it is a McDonald's. I also once saw someone who looked like a construction worker do the same thing, and they did not otherwise make a purchase at all. I have also seen some people in the parking lot who were dirty and appeared to be homeless. One came up to my car and asked for money, and another one was wandering all over the parking lot looking around, including looking into a garbage can. I also saw another person walk in the side door and head toward the restroom, not the front counter. This seemed a little strange to see in such a suburban location, but it is close to a light rail stop. All in all, it's a McDonald's and you'll get what you expect. read more

I come here nearly everyday, so I know a lot of the staff and they are very nice. Sometimes it gets really busy (it's right off a highway), but most of the time, it's pretty calm here. They have 2 sets of comfy chairs/benches and several TVs. I like it. read more

I honestly hate to leave a one star review anywhere but I feel, after the third time this has happened, this location deserves it. My order at McDonalds is pretty basic: a cheeseburger and fries, not a bun and cheese with fries. Fries are fine. Their cheeseburgers need help. I'll put it this way: if I wanted a grilled cheese, I'd order a grilled cheese, but if I wanted a cheeseburger, I'd order that. I've never ordered a grilled cheese at McDonalds, but this is the third time in a row over he past year that I've gotten home and bitten into a cheeseburger that was literally just bread and cheese. This McDonalds is a lunchtime staple for me based on its great location (great for me at least). The food is predictably exactly what you think it should be, and that's fine by me. I will say, fries can tend to vary from location to location, and this McD's is consistently very good. The other props I can give this location is that they handle the lunch-time-rush very well. Outside, the drive-thru line may look long, but the staff is prepared and precise. The lines outside and inside move quickly, so don't be discouraged by the side of high volume. As well, the staff (particularly the drive-thru employees) have always treated me well. Can't expect much more from a McDonalds. read more

My husband and I were trying to look at our coupons and she kept trying to rush us. She kept saying "you ready? Are you finally ready? Ready?" So when we finally were ready she wasn't even ready! I started ordering and she immediately interrupted me and said "hold on I don't have a register" she asked her manager to login for her and the manager kept telling her to sign in. She kept arguing and saying "I'm not staying until 1 you sign in" so once that was finally over the manager signed in and ONCE AGAIN she said "are you ready now? Is this together or what?"
