After a lot of issues at this location mostly not giving me items I paid for. even going in the give the restaurant an opportunity to fix their mistake their management employees clearly don't give a shit. I emailed corporate McDonald's who then just simply forward your email to the incompetent management that run this location. I got a cut and paste email from the general manager of this location who basically said that they're working on that screwing up a litter so much I don't care about their internal issues and how horrible they aren't running a restaurant.. Times are changing. McD is rolling with the times. They started using kiosk machines to take orders along with regular cashiers. Of course, it's to cut down on cost expense and to make things quicker. There are still two cash registers if you want the personal touch. I would use the kiosk more often but sometimes I have those free offer coupons from filling out those surveys on the back of my receipts that I have to visit the cash registers. You are doing those surveys right? It's only free food and I've only told you about a gillizon times. Anyway the kiosk displays are brightly lit and icons easy to see. The kiosk are tall and might be difficult for height challenged people. Trying to be politically correct yelpers before ACLU complains. So if you have a credit card and able to reach your favor icons, use the kiosk. Just make sure to enter your number placement before paying. Take your receipt, find a table, and put down your table placement number. The food is delivered right too you. You just have to get your own ketchup. If using cash or coupon, the cashier is there for you. And so you know, if you use the kiosk, there are some combo meals not offered. So if you don't see it, you'll have to order each item separately. Overall three stars. convenience of using the kiosk is great unless you're short. I have to admit, when I see self-help technology in stores and restaurants, I have the urge to try it. But then I think, why not self help myself at home? McDonald's has implemented the self-help big screen at the check-out line and of course I have to try it. It took us longer to order our own food than it normally would, however, it was a little on the fun side for the most part. Fighting off my 3 year old granddaughter to let me do it wasn't so much a blast as I thought it would be, especially since she doesn't read yet. That's pretty much the only review I have today. This is the only McDonald's that is how I remember it as a kid...activity books, pop-outs to make, playland and just about the nicest workers you could imagine... You will need socks for the playland, but don't worry if you forget them because they sell them for $1.24 (tax included) in a variety of sizes. The are separated like they came from a pack but rest assured they are indeed new. My kids got to choose their favorites. One of the nicest guys, Darryl, searched high and low for the minions card deck for my son and when his shift manager Elaine saw him, she immediately started helping. While I can't believe that I ended up at McDonald's on our adventure today, I must say, this place reminded me why I thought it was so great as a kid. Mahalo. read more

I like that there is an employee there to monitor the children. FOOD They serve everything that the other McDonald's serve on the island. INSIDE There is not much seating and on the wall it gives you a time limit. SERVICE I came here several times with my family. Usually on the weekend and it's busy. I like taking my kids to this McDonald's specifically for their indoor playground. It is awesome, but if course nothing beats the playground I grew up with at the McDonald's in Waipahu back in the 80's and 90's. Nonetheless, this location has an awesome facility. It's one of the fewer McDonald's that I've been to that was clean. This McDonald's is located in the Lau'Lani Village Shopping Center, right next to Safeway gas n go. Tons of parking available here, but of course it can get pretty busy during peak hours. *just a tip.. when planning in dining in, make sure to park in the City mill and pet Co parking lot because if you park in the parking lot on the McDonald's property, Good Luck in trying to back out, because when the drive thru line get busy, there is no way you'll be able to reverse your car our and leave. They're lovin' it! Well...the kids are. The small but clean play place is great for kids of all ages. I say all ages because there's supposed to be a height limit, but there are some bigger kids getting in on the fun. I don't mind...as long as the6 don't crush the younger ones. It seems that most McDonald's seems like a "wait for your food" rather than a "fast food" restaurant...but it could be that we're so used to getting instant results from the Internet that we expect life to be that way too. However, they seem to make errors on the orders...so check your food before leaving. Besides this being a new McDonald's with a Play Place, the other upgrade that I thought was worth mentioning is that they have a restroom accessible from the Play Place! No longer do parents have to haul a kid a rush through a dining room just to get to the restroom before an accident occurs! Hopefully everyone can keep this place clean so that kids can enjoy it for a couple of years. Tonight June 18, 2020 around 10pm we went to McDonalds in Ewa Beach, Drive thru of coarse. Ordered out food (20 piece, wife got a cone ice cream, and daughter got hot fudge sundae) Drove around and the price the guy told me at the window said 9.54 but lady on speaker 8.54, So we asked him to check and he said its 9.54, not a problem and we have him a 10 dollar bill. He gave me back 1.46 for change, Hmmm, I must be crazy or he just be rude and dumb. So we pulled up to window to get our stuff and this colored girl, (can't say black anymore) with the thickest glasses and tattoos on her arm greets us. This McDonald's is a hit or miss when it comes to service, but it's been mostly misses... there was even a time that they made me wait in the waiting parking spot while they still needed to make my smoothie... it took over ten mins and I had to go inside to see what was going on, and saw that my smoothie was sitting on the counter for awhile and non of the workers even realized it needed to handed over to me when waiting in my car. This is the McDonalds at the Laulani Village shopping center. It has a children play area. The service is quick, the bathrooms are clean, and the overall restaurant is clean and tidy as well. There are two drive-thru lanes that eventually converge into one to pay and pick up your food. I've been to this McDonalds several times and have not had any issues or anything negative to say. The food is typical of what you'd expect from any McDonalds, so no high expectations there. This restaurant is on par with what you would expect from a McDonalds! read more

I love that we have a McDonald's here, but drive thru lines are always busy. Weekends and evenings around dinner time are the worst. It's faster to park and walk in for your food. If you do park, don't park in their small lot. Otherwise you may get blocked in when the drive through line backs up and no matter your reverse lights are on , hangry ( hungry + angry) people in their cars do not let you out. You almost have to force your way out. You can park on the City Mill lot side- ample spaces and you won't get trapped. BUT- be very careful crosssing to McDonald's. Lots of traffic and cars coming out of the drive thru. So always be aware. Food is good. I've never been disappointed. Service is good too! Friendly service . I have never had a wrong order. Chemical tasting ice cream?!!!!! Came here 12/26/2017 evening to purchase 2 snack size Oreo mcflurries for my two young children. Came home and did a taste test like I normally do for most of the food that I don't prepare myself before giving them to my kids & realized that there was a weird metallic chemical taste to the ice cream. Called the store manager (Ben) and had told him what was going on. Ben, tried the ice cream himself and agreed that the ice cream did not taste right. I asked what the reason for the awful taste and was not given a direct answer. Ben informed me that I would be credited on my next visit or I could get a refund. I must say that Ben was not very apologetic towards the situation while he was cheerfully humming songs in the background. Decided not to leave home & kindly declined my refund/credit and asked them to turn off the machine and figure out why the ice cream had a chemical taste to it so that no other family had to ingest this awful ice cream. Informed Ben that I would follow up with the status of the machine. I'm really hoping that this so called manager really shut down that ice cream machine. Got my order wrong at least eight out of ten times and even over charged me for a extra MEAL (no not just an item but a WHOLE MEAL) and then when I complained about it the bakla manager that fixed the mistake kept treating me as if I'm some kind of criminal.
