Older gentleman on counter had thick accent but understandable. He gave me a small container of Mac salad separately. Great because it doesn't get all warm from the hot rice and chicken. Mac salad was decent tasting. Not sure if they have jello anymore that they used to give out because when asked him about any desserts he said "no" but I don't know if there was a language barrier or misunderstanding. Anyways, a mixed bag. Food was 3 stars but I think the reasonable prices and huge portion size pushed it to 4 stars.

What annoys me about places like this is when they are so dead and seem to need business, yet they don't see it as important to ANSWER THE PHONE! We called multiple times on different occasions and never ONCE got thru. When I went in to order, I asked the lady working if they changed their number. She said the phone number hasn't changed and insisted that she "always" answers the phone, yet when I walked in, she was sitting in the dining room rolling gaugee. After mentioning that I just called and didn't get thru, she then tells me, "oh ya, I heard it ringing in the back." --- uhh. Okay?.. So, to me, that means you don't always pick up the phone. She didn't seem pleased with my inquiry. No, "thank you" or anything after I paid and even after I grabbed my food that was ready. No eye contact. Nada. Allllllrighty then!... lol Onto the food... With zero bias after receiving that interaction, I can honestly say that I didn't miss out on anything all those other times they didn't answer their phone. The food was waaaaay too sweet for my liking, and umm.. the beef stew? It was made with sliced beef type of cut, rather than chunks. Quite odd, but all-in-all, the "beef stew" is a hard PASS for me. Aside from the different cut of beef, my plate tasted like there was a full tbsp or 2 of sugar in it. Very bizarre if what you're hoping to taste is a traditional, or even, local style BEEF STEW. The honey garlic chicken was tasteless beyond the oily sugar coating. Portion and price for the mix plate was great, but damn... everything else fell short and 90% of it was trashed. I hate wasting food and I especially hate wasting money! :(

The loco moco was excellent, made with a wagyu patty, comes with a lot of gravy and perfectly cooked eggs exactly as I ordered and some pickled cucumber. My friend said the fish and chips were really good as well. My other friend said the chicken karaage was ok but felt it had too much breading on it. The staff was amazing, service was quick, drinks were kept full and everyone was extremely friendly. The ambiance is what I expect for a restaurant at a golf course. The restrooms are outside of the restaurant but also service the golf course and they have two entrances and exits for easy access by everyone. Everything was very clean and the staff was proactive in ensuring everything was clean prior to serving. I thought the food and staff was really good, I will definitely be coming back next time I play a round.

Compliments to Chef Meghan for an exceptional dining experience. I ordered the Japanese breakfast, which featured misoyaki butterfish, steamed rice, tamagoyaki, and an assortment of sides. Every component was perfectly prepared and full of flavor. My guests ordered the French toast with breakfast sides. One of them chose it because it reminded her of the French toast she enjoyed at her wedding, which was held at this very restaurant this past February. It brought back wonderful memories and made the experience even more meaningful. Overall, everything--from the atmosphere and service to the outstanding cuisine--made for an exceptional brunch. We can't wait to return!

The service is super good because mama & papa are very friendly. You can enjoy your food there because they have ALOT of seats available. I got their dynamite maki & tiger roll. It was super good. They load the dynamite maki, I was so full.it is Cali inside & spicy ahi on top with sauce. 10/10!!! The tiger roll was not my thing. It was more like a citrus roll with the sauce they had on it. Extremely disappointing and unprofessional catering experience…read more Do not waste your time or money booking catering with Enfuego. We booked Enfuego to cater our housewarming event on 8/16/26, with an order totaling over $1,000 including taxes. The morning of our event, we received a call telling us that they would not be able to make our food. There was no real explanation, no apology, and very little concern for the fact that we were now left scrambling for food on the day of our event. I understand that weather can create challenges, and I believe this was related to Tropical Storm Lala. However, what makes this situation especially frustrating is that Enfuego contacted us the day before, on 8/15, specifically to confirm whether we still wanted to proceed with our order. We said yes. The storm was not a surprise at that point. Everyone knew it was approaching Oahu, and we were expecting the weather to clear by the time of our 5pm event. If Enfuego knew there was a possibility they could not fulfill our order, they should have been upfront with us when they called to confirm the day before. Instead, they waited until the morning of our event to cancel, leaving us with almost no time to find another caterer. The cancellation itself was disappointing, but the lack of communication, empathy, and professionalism was what really stood out. When you are taking someone's money for a $1,000+ catering order for an important event, the least you can do is communicate properly and show some consideration for the customer. I've always had good things to say about Enfuego, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Unfortunately, this has completely changed my opinion of the business. I would not recommend Enfuego for catering, especially for an important event where you need a business you can actually depend on. Weather is unpredictable. Poor communication and poor customer service are not.

Instead of the usual katsu sauce, I asked if I could have the ginger sauce instead since I'd seen other places offer it. They said yes, and let me tell you... it was a game changer! If you're a ginger lover like me, definitely give it a try. With the coupon, both plates came out to $14.xx. Pretty affordable if you ask me. The chicken katsu was hot, crispy, and a generous portion. The garlic chicken came out fresh and delicious too. Plates come with Mac salad or toss greens with their pink homemade sweet dressing. It actually tastes pretty good, too. I always call my order in ahead of time because I don't like waiting, and every single time I arrive, my food is already ready. We usually just pick it up and eat there, and the service has always been quick and friendly. One tip: Yelp listed them as closing at 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, but I called just to make sure since hours can change, and they actually closed at 8:30 p.m., which gave us plenty of time to pick up our food and eat. The only downside is there isn't a restroom inside the restaurant. They'll give you a code to use the restroom behind the shopping center, or you can walk to Safeway. If you use the one behind the mall, I'd recommend going with someone, especially at night, since that area can sometimes attract a few sketchy people. We did takeout but there is plenty of seating inside and outside as well I believe. There is also lots of parking throughout the shopping center. Definitely recommend coming here if you need a quick bite in Mililani!

Long story short, my son is allergic to shell fish, we always inform restaurants and any where we go about his allergies. We've never had a problem here before as we mostly dine in the back. This time around, my son and I ordered and he was a little distracted, we take fault in that part. I guess they started putting orders together, which they never used too. Anyways, my son ordered a salmon nigiri and I ordered an ebi (shrimp). When the order came out they were put in the same container which caught us by surprise bc they never used too. anyways when I seen it, I had asked if we could get another order and if needed we'd pay bc my son is allergic. The young lady took the order back and sent a young man out. This is where I they disappointed me. He comes to our table and tells us "Im sorry but we arent able to re make the order because they cant separate for cross contamination" So my son had ask (he is a Manager at a high end restaurant, so he knows about cross contamination) are u folks not able to use a different knife (to keep it simple) and the young man stated, they arent able too. we asked to speak to a manager but they stated non was there and we'd need to call. Needless to say, I dont think we'd be going back and im super sad bc we loved Ninja Sushi :(( But if they can be so careless and non chalant about cross contamination, we dont want to take the chance.
