We stopped by this McDonald's on a road trip on Thanksgiving. Feels like important context since most things are closed so the things that are open can be pretty busy. The restaurant itself was clean and it was pretty easy to order on the screens. The bathrooms were also pretty clean, but the soap dispenser in the women's bathroom wasn't working. It was pretty difficult to get the attention of the staff to get the soap sorted out. They ended up just putting a dispenser next to it on the counter so people could get soap while the electric dispenser itself wasn't working. It also took a really long time for us to get our food so a quick stop ended up being a longer one. Food-wise we got a couple of order of fries, chicken nuggets, a drink, and a sundae. The food was all standard McDonald's food. Also they were out of ketchup and also the little ketchup containers for the dispenser. This location is fine as a stop on a roadtrip, but I probably wouldn't choose to go there again. read more

My McDonald's experience was anything but great. I ordered a hot n' spicy McChicken & a medium sweet tea. It took them over 30 mins to bring my pick up order out ... also this order was placed 15 mins away from the store. So, I finally got my order and of course. The chicken was cold and the lettuce was clearly placed on the side? there is no way it was put on the sandwich at all. This is the worst part, I just decided okay I'll drink my sweet tea. I drank OVER HALF of my sweet tea & a huge chunk of something was in my mouth. I am not sure what it was I immediately spit it out & threw the drink away. The staff needs to double and triple check orders before handing them out. And someone needs to answer the phone. We stopped by here the other day when we were in the area. It was, possibly, the slowest McDonald's I think we've ever been to, which should be an award. I don't know if there was a staffing issue, or if a burner was down, or what was going on, but it took 15-20 minutes to make it through the drive-through to get two drinks and a McChicken sandwich. It should NOT take that long to get something so basic. Hopefully they'll up their game by the next time we are in the area and wanting to stop by for the $1 soft drinks. read more

One of the nicest McDonald's locations we've stopped at. We wanted a cup of coffee and it is always good at most locations. It was very early in the morning so they were not busy. We walked in and were greeted by a very nice young man who took our order and served it up quickly. We also like the idea that they offer a special price Senior Coffee. The dining tables were set up for social distancing and there was a sign on the table saying it was just cleaned. The entire dining area was spotless. The coffee was hot and delicious. Absolutely terrible service!!!! Was greeted with a smug and irritated look. I just walked in to get a coffee and use the bathroom since I'd been on the road for hours traveling; However when I asked the young man behind the counter for a favored iced coffee, he said "We don't have iced coffee, pick something else." To which I replied yes, your normal iced coffee. He then got irritated and said I meant a frappe and he looked at me as if I was dumb. I pointed to the menu and after looking where it said iced coffee, he still argued they didn't have it. A manager then stepped in and rang it up correctly. After repeating the order right, a man with large gauges came from the back saying they had no coffee left. Nobody offered to make any (as I'm sure nobody there actually knew how). They offered me a smoothie which I politely declined and left. Everyone there looked like they were so angry that anyone dare come in and order something. This McDonald's location spoils me for any other store. Very clean interior. Food is hot, fast, and prepared well. The staff is friendly and trained well, I really believe the employees enjoy working there. We like to walk the Black Creek Trail nearby and this is our go-to on our way home. If we are too sweaty from the Alabama heat and humidity, we use the drive through. Very efficient and also friendly service. read more

A friend and I went to McDonald's and had 2 separate orders.. we had to repeat our orders twice each at the menu.. then we had to repeat each order another 4 times at the pay window...and when we got to the window to get our food.. we were asked to repeat our order again. We tell her to go communicate with her coworker. They make us give our receipts back and she tells us not to worry about what the crew is doing (they were all laughing at us) They already have our money, we have already repeated our order several times. They threw her burger in the bag, not wrapped with the receipt touching it. There were no fries in Barrett's happy meal. We asked for the small fries we were missing, a burger that was actually wrapped and not thrown in the bag and the General Manager's name. The manager on the clock refused to give us that information, lied and said the name is on the receipt. (Don't forget..they have our receipts) (There is an email address but not a name.. we just wanted a name) she then proceeds to scream at us that Black Lives Matter. I don't generally review fast food places, but this one really stood out to me...in a good way! I am not sure what is up with the negative reviews, because this was one of the cleanest and friendliest McDonald's that I have ever been to. Greeted upon walking in the door and order was taken and brought out quickly. The tables had fresh cut flowers in little glass vases, which is a nice little touch, and everything was VERY clean.
