I was in need of food and after getting fuel for my vehicle it was time for fuel for myself. I wanted something quick and this was literally across the street. I pulled in, hopped out of the car and went inside. I used the kiosk to order my food as I did not want to feel hurried. Also, using the kiosk inside allows you to link your app and redeem your rewards. After some tapping, I took my table number and found myself a seat. I sat towards the back of the restaurant, near the one door. It gave me a good vantage point of the space and notice that it was well maintained by the staff and well used by customers. While looking around my food is delivered to my table and I dig in. I tune out the world as I consume the par for the course food. I wasn't looking for anything big for a meal, I was just looking for a fast meal so I could make it the rest of the way home. read more

I go to this McDonald's a lot and I gotta say it is quite annoying to have to deal with this black gentleman with glasses who seems to never get my order right I do believe he's a manager and he's always rushing me to order even when there's only one other car in line today I asked for two McChicken's with ketchup, three buffalo sauces, a medium fry and a Sprite with light ice he did not add any ketchup did not put that I ordered a fry and also did not put that I want three buffalo sauces but instead just put two, although I was paying for them I repeated myself to him and all he said was OK enclosed the window and told me to proceed to the next window, so I did got to the next window. I asked them about it again. He said OK moved me on to the second window, believing that he would honored what I had requested for the food that I was going to buy. I look into my bag and not only did I not get my fries. I'd also did not get my two McChicken's with ketchup and the only thing he got right was the Sprite with light ice I don't know what it is with this gentleman and if he cannot get my order right on top of that every time he has taking my order through the drive-through, he has never greeted me. He has never welcomed me. I don't believe this is customer service that is suitable for a place like this kinda expect more from him. I prefer my order being taken by a lady with colored hair. She has always greeted me. She has always made sure my order was right, but for some reason this gentleman refuses to get anything right I don't know what it's gonna take for this McDonald's to get better but it definitely starts with him. I mean quite upset with what happened today and I believe that changes need to be done. 10/4/20 I was informed the women's bathroom smelled like stagnant water. My wife said there was faeces on the floor of the women's bathroom. We wanted breakfast, but discovered that McDonald's has abolished the breakfast menu. Not only that, but the wonderful slushies are also gone from the menu. The large lobby sitting area is a formal shell of itself. It's a little depressing not seeing families eating, drinking and having a good time. Still the outside layout looks nice and inviting. The menu on the McDonald's board is not very impressive, but does have updated Mcflurry options. I hope the all day breakfast menu comes back. It was McDonald's biggest sell I think. read more

There is nothing friendly about this place first of all the inside of the store was flooded or some kind of emergency then when we pull up to the drive to the entire time the gentleman headed back to water and we waited at least 30 to 45 seconds before he acknowledged us and then the lady that was near him at the drive-thru was yelling and fussing because I had a mobile order I don't know what's going on with customer service with most of the McDonald's restaurants but they have to realize that the customers are the ones that are making their paycheck read more

This is a McDonalds. Thousands of locations worldwide and the chances of you having tasted their fries or nuggets is near 100%. That said, this location is a convenient spot from the highway and it is easy to get to from all sides of the road. The downside of getting to this location is that it is tucked away in the corner and it is quite weird to maneuver around. Luckily, it is not in direct contact with the main road, but it can get annoying when you are doing sharp turns in and out of this place with a lot of other people near you. Their drive through is the busiest part of their business and they have two windows to order and one window to pay and one window to pick up your order. The thing is that you can place your order in and they have time to make the order. That is a simple idea, but for a consumer, it can be frustrating. You place the order, but then you have to wait and/or place car chicken with the other lane on who goes first. You merge into one lane and that is the toughest part, but it shouldn't be this hard. Either or, it has worked and I haven't been hit by someone - close, but didn't hit me. The food is pretty static. They haven't had any slip ups where I have gotten food poisoning so that is a plus and they appear to wear masks during this pandemic. I am not sure if they have an ice cream machine. read more

Ordering ahead on the app doesn't seem to speed things up. When you pull up to the curbside spots, the app says approximately 5 minutes but it took 15+ minutes. Pretty sure the drive through was going faster. I'm aware they need to have someone free to do curbside but there was no option to go through the drive thru (didn't want to take my kids out of the car seats). I haven't visited a McDonald's in a while because my experiences haven't been great due to a lack of consistency and shrinking portions. However this time everything was wonderful. I got the deluxe Quarter Pounder which I've never tried before it was hot Juicy and Delicious. The french fries were great and the soda had perfect balance of syrup to carbonation. the only reason I'm not giving them five stars is that they use shredded lettuce which makes a mess and there were too many onions on the sandwich for my taste. This is a busy Mickey D's in the Germantown, Milestone, Area of Montco Maryland. Passing by this location on a regular basis thought about stopping in for a bite but resisted due to the regular line as well as efforts to eat healthier. Well this morning broke down and tried the breakfast meal and was totally surprisingly satisfied. The #2 was piping hot, apparently right off of the grill, and flavorful. Coffee was right on as well providing the needed jolt to get the day going right. As an afterthought noticed that the receipt indicated a bit more $ than what is usually expected price point for the value meal, even taking into consideration the inflationary price climate right now. On double checking the receipt noticed the associate rang up the meal ala-carte rather than as a value meal which explained the higher price paid. No worries though, a quick phone call to the store, and recommendation by person on the other end to stop in with receipt in hand for adjustment. Well gotta hand it to this store for customer satisfaction award of the day, as the order was corrected, simply, easily and without question. The manager here definitely understands the customer set and went ahead and made the situation right by comp'ing a value meal in return. Further, the lines at the drive through at this location due to popularity should not discourage drivers and hungry commuters from giving this Mickey D's a try, they move the line quickly and efficiently and the food comes out hot and ready. Another bad experience at this location. I completely understand why this location has such poor ratings. First and foremost, this is the second time not receiving an item. the first time I caught the mistake before leaving the restaurant, but this time I didn't get a chance to look through the bags. The reason for not going through the bags is that my hands were dirty from playing basketball with my kids. I asked the lady whether everything was in the bag or not and she repeated twice that "everything is in the bags and nothing was missing". I was a bit skeptical and glance in the bags but couldn't really check it because I had a lot of items and again, my hands were not clean. I got home to uncover that the nuggets I ordered were missing from the bag. This is probably the worst item that could have been missed because it was for my wife and young daughter that didn't come with us. My 4 year old daughter doesn't like beef and only eats the nuggets when we eat McDonald's (which is probably once every 3 months). My wife was upset because my daughter was very sad that she didn't get her food. I called the restaurant and was told to come back to get my nuggets.I live about 12-15 minutes from the restaurant and didn't feel it was worth driving back for the one item. Maybe if the manager (Angie) would have offered a full refund or more then the missed item I would consider going back or not writing this review. But because that was the only option offered, I had to at the least share my experience. Once is a mistake, twice is a habit. This place has either poor management or inadequate associates. I'm giving it 3 stars as compared to other McDonald's. They have the nice 2 lane drive through at this location and the line moves pretty fast. They also now offer the mobile ordering with special parking spots for that. I downloaded the app but haven't tried it yet. I have to say, I have never had a wrong order from this location and the employees are friendly. This is our go to McDonald's. I can't comment on the dining room, since we've only ever used the drive through. read more

One of the newer, smaller footprint Mickey D's in the middle of a heavily commercial zone in Germantown, Maryland. Not the easiest place to find, nor navigate too. Be careful walking to the door, as you must walk across the drive thru lane, and the drivers are not always paying attention to pedestrians. Came in to order food due to the long line in the drive thru and waited at the check out desk for five minutes before someone assisted me(after I had to ask, and was told to order from the kiosks). Honestly if we can just order from the kiosks then what are they there for. But then they'll turn around and complain about how robots are taking their jobs. read more

This location more expensive than other McDonald's in the area. Some meals by $0.50 to $1. Not sure why because fries always soggy and don't fill up containers all the way hamburgers not seasoned. Don't bother to get ice cream after dinner around 8 pm you are better off going to the grocery store or nearby 7-Eleven. It will take you 25 minutes to go through drive through. read more
