We called Chick-fil-a at 8:30 on september 19 2025 and brennan picked up and he was so sweet to us and we called a second time to say thank you for being so kind unlike some other stores. He let us talk to him about a dominos worker that was very rude to us when we were trying to order a pizza from dominos and he was very sweet and gave us advice and was very sweet and listened to our vent. This is not the typical location for me. We came here during lunch hour rush on a Saturday. I was expecting a wait both for placing my order and getting the order. Boy was I wrong. Today they were having alot of issues with their mobile ordering so I went in to grab my food. I stood for 10 mins with no acknowlegement. I wanted Mac and cheese with fries for dinner, so since I was over here with my mom, I stopped here. No drive-thru, so that was ok. I got what I came here for and I was happy. No line, so that was a plus. I had to wait about 2-3 minutes for my order. There is a play area for kids to play after they eat and also an area for condiments. The Mac and cheese was delicious and the fries were as well. I didn't eat all of it, but I was content. If I'm on this end of town, I will be back. read more

Consistent with the brand, this Chick-fil-A location has delicious, reasonably priced food with friendly staff :) This location is in Kentlands with a huge parking lot that is shared with multiple retailers. I come to this location often and have not had a bad experience yet. For breakfast, I usually order the Chicken Minis. For lunch or dinner I usually order the Spicy Chicken Sandwich or Kid's Meal with Chick-fil-A nuggets. All orders with their delicious waffle fries of course! :) I would recommend this location and will continue coming here often :) read more

I came here today for lunch as I was nearby running an errand. I had an offer for a free grilled chicken sandwich from the 2018 cow calendar, which will no longer be available in 2019. :( The sandwich isn't my favorite because it's bland and boring but I guess adding a sauce makes it taste better. But it was free so I'm not complaining. My fav is the original chicken sandwich. What sets this location apart from others is their sizable fries. Others I have gone to are comparably smaller. This location does not have a drive through like most others but it does compensate by having curbside pickup in the back parking lot and a mobile pickup area inside. For tots, they have an indoor playground. Unlike at my regular location that I go to, the few occasions that I've come here, while waiting in line an employee (A) will take your order on their tablet, then you pay at the register(with employee B). I am not sure what the point of this is. I guess it speeds up the process. Maybe the order gets prepared and is ready by the time that you get to the register. Today when order was taken on the tablet and he went to scan my offer on my mobile app, when I got to the register there was a mix up and apparently I didn't pay. After I went to sit down, the cashier (B) came up to my table and asked if I had paid. This is an area for improvement for better training as the interaction of two employee per transaction is causing confusion/miscommunication somehow. read more

Love this chik a fila pre and during COVID. We used to come often with the kids. My youngest loved the play area. Lines were always super quick and everything is very efficient. With COVID restrictions, they don't allow any dining in. They have placed plexiglass around the restaurant. The main front entrance is designated for those who are ordering in store. The back entrance is for mobile order pick up. They also offer curbside pick up, which is super convenient since this location doesn't have a drive thru. The food is pretty good, but the service is so slow. Each time we order, the wait is roughly ten to 15 minutes! What are they doing -- killing and cooking the chickens in the back of the restaurant? The service gets slower and slower. The portions for the salads require a microscope to see. This place should be renamed Chick-u-Wait! Usually pretty consistent. Grilled chicken sandwich is still the same size. However, over the last 3 years, I have seen the kale crunch salad go from 100% kale with cranberries and pecans to 50% kale/50% some other green with a mix of almonds and pecans, to now about 30% kale and the rest is basically Cole slaw, with no cranberries and all almonds. First, let me say I have been a loyal customer for years. Your brand has one of the best customer service models known to man. While I have not had the pleasure of working for you personally, I have referenced you all when I speak to my team(s) about exceptional customer service. Today was the first time I had ever experienced anything less than stellar service. I just left the Kentlands location in Gaithersburg, MD and I am quite upset with the lack of service I received. When I order breakfast, I always get fries with my meal instead of hash browns. I simply do not like the hash browns you all serve. This has NEVER been an issue at any of the other locations I have visited including other states. I was just simply told "No! It's breakfast!" I did not place an order and left your store both offended and hungry. As a Training General Manager of one of the nearby restaurants, I was shocked that I left without any sort of accommodation or apology. It's not that my request couldn't be accommodated, the person(s) handing me were just lazy. There was clearly no leadership presence in the restaurant because had there been I wouldn't have left unhappy. I train my team to never allow a guest to leave unhappy or unsatisfied. We are in the servitude business; if that's not a shared value amongst the company and team, then you simply have the wrong people employed. While my $15 meal may not matter to you all, I am sure it does the business next door. Maybe I'll try the new bagel spot and spend half the money I would here. Update: Their Customer Care team said to me, "We always try our best to accommodate our guests` special menu requests and dietary preferences, but in order to efficiently serve customers the quality meals that they are accustomed to, we are sometimes unable to. Operators are asked to follow menu requirements that are set by Chick-fil-A, Inc." So please be advised and take caution they just may not be able to efficiently satisfy your requests AND dietary preferences! read more

I love Chick-fil-A and they are usually my go-to for chicken sandwiches. Decided to stop by this location since I was in the area and boy it brings back memories of when I used to come here back in highschool. It seems like the interior has been perhaps renovated since the last time I came here (many years ago). Looked really clean and spacious, which was nice. The problem I was having was with the operations and the facility itself. When the food came out, it was good, tasted like it usually does. But I was first in the line for awhile, watching about 15-20 employees doing their own thing past the cashier counter. But there was only one person at the cashier taking an order for a long time (assuming there was an issue with the order). I couldn't believe that there were that many people working simultaneously but not one other cashier. The line was obviously pretty long by this time. Also, a lot of the tables were dirty for anyone to sit and dine in. Not sure what was going on but I didn't really get the experience I usually get at other Chick-fil-A's. Not going to lie, I'm one of the rare few who isn't a huge fan of Chick-fil-a. It's never appealed to me. I ended up here on a whim after walking into Nalley Fresh and finding nothing to eat. I was starving and Chick-fil-A just seemed like a good idea. Also, I saw they had sliding glass doors. Really? Sliding glass doors? How fancy! Lol I walked in, the place looked huge. There were about 4 people in line and 2 cashiers working. It only took about 2-3 minutes before I was at the register. A very lovely woman named Bria took my order. I don't know how or where Chick-fil-A hires these top notch employees but KU-DOS. More companies need to take note. Whether it's the pay or free food lol everyone needs to be like Chick-fil-A. Anyways. I ordered an 8 piece chicken nugget meal with a coke. Literally by the time Bria filled up my coke my order was ready! Now that's freaky fast! I was a little worried the food might be cold as it was ready SO fast but nope it was hot and fresh. As soon as I got to my car I broke into my nuggets which were piping hot and took a bit of a fry which was also extremely hot. I was pleasantly surprised with both. The only item that slightly disappointed was the coke but I won't blame Chick-fil-A for that lol it was a little flat. All in all, a great experience. Bitter sweet I came here. I am extremely disappointed in this place. As a large business they should be taking responsibility for their food. TODAY I WAS SERVED RAW!!!! Chicken. Mixed into my salad. Cross contaminated in all the 5 bites that I took. When I call to make sure a manager was in, the manager had an attitude and asks me what kind of salad it is. Why that matters makes no sense! RAW CHICKEN IS NEVER OKAY! I bring back my salad and they say "yup that's raw chicken" then ask me if I want another salad or my money back, and they hope they didn't lose me as a customer. The parking and curbside pickup spots are around back, which wasn't initially clear. Our food was ready within 10 minutes of ordering through the app. This location is far less chaotic than the one on Tech Road in Silver Spring. Probably one of the worst Chick-Fil-As I've been to; the people working are young (prob highschool/college age), very nice and polite but no sense of urgency and a bit disorganized. I ALWAYS order via the app as to not wait in the long line and it took us about 12 minutes to get our food. The pickup area was about 6 people long and that was disorganized; however, it was as ordered. Where we ended up sitting (the restaurant was packed) was near a group of middle school kids, possibly high schoolers, that were very loud and saying a lot of nonsense to each (cursing, talking about sex, etc)... they started spitting on each other and trying to eat I asked the team supervisor (Chris, I think) to intervene. Of course the children who have no home training started saying I was racist, it was loud enough so I could hear. It really is too bad that that's what they came up with instead of trying to act like they have some sense. All the while only one of the kids was eating, the rest were taking up 3 whole booths for paying customers. It's too bad the supervisor would let this continue. My three children, to include a middle schooler, were very uncomfortable being near these kids. I am giving two stars because the kids working were working hard, are very polite and even helpful...setting a good example for the ones in the booths being obnoxious. Additionally, other Customers were leaving there trash on the tables instead of picking up after themselves. I went to the rest room and two woman had just walked out of the stalls and didn't flush and left their paper towels in the wash bowl and on the counter. I stopped in this morning for the first time. I ordered the food and it was ready before I took my receipt. Great customer service. This meal turned into lunch and this is when I discovered the reason for this review. I ordered the chicken minis meal but when I actually was able to get to the actual meal I noticed that they put a hash brown in one of the minis to replace the chicken nugget. It looked like part of the four count until I looked closer and wondered why this chicken nugget was so thin. That just looked very intentional. Or on a cold day, have a chicken wrap with a hot cup of chicken noodle soup. I never leave without their Polynesian sauce.. So I came to redeem my gift card coupon for a free chicken biscuit, and I walk in to a long line, and only one cashier at the counter. A customer two places in front of me decides "I ain't that hungry" and walks out. I overheard another customer wait to tell the manager on duty that he did not get the order of extra bacon he asked for. One of the cashiers starts yelling to one of the cooks in English and Spanish! Now to my order. I ordered the chicken biscuit. The shift manager (Sonya?) tells me the biscuits will be ready in six minutes, and asks would I like to wait or she can substitute a bagel. I hesitated, but elected to try the bagel, since I love their chicken egg and cheese bagel. Man was that the best chicken filet on a bagel I have ever eaten! They should serve these more often, even without the egg and cheese. The problem here is bad cashier management. You have 2 registers. One is card only, the other is cash. When the line fills up with cash purchasers the card only cashier gets a mobile tablet and starts taking cash orders and the card orders are put on hold. Instead they should still keep the card cashier open and have someone else support the backlog with the tablet whether it's cash or card only payments. read more
