Hours listed on their website are correct. Unlike the Taco Bell next door. Great job! Love this place.

They do get busy, so consider a reservation. It's American pub food for the most part. Cheese curds are delicious. I love the pizzas and salads. They had a previous pizza guy and his pizzas were the best, sorry he's not there anymore, but they're still good. My husband likes their burgers and specials. My adult children like the sandwiches. Fish fry is excellent except for the coleslaw, it's spicy and I prefer either creamy or vinegar. We have tried many of the beers and enjoy them all. I typically get the crusher. Bartenders are always attentive when we sit at the bar. Servers are great, they are all so nice and remember regulars. Hostess is warm and welcoming, we even saw her at the grocery store and she said hi. They seem to have very little turnover of staff. Whenever we had any issues, we let the staff know and they corrected it promptly. They have a rewards club so we save on meals and a mug club to save on beer. The patio is a great spot in summer, there's a fire pit and you can bring dogs. They have trivia and other events regularly. We have tried their other Explorium locations and Wayfinder on the east side before a show - we had excellent service there too. The owners seem dedicated to the community and their staff. We'll keep coming back.

They have a good selection of beers on tap and the food menu consisted of your typical pub foods. My friend asked the waiter if they recommended their fish fry or a burger, we came on a Saturday night. He said fish fry if you came in a Friday, burger the other days. I trust his opinion there, she said the burger was great. I had the Philly cheesesteak and was really happy. The hoagie was soft, but toasted. The steak was tender and there was great flavor. The only critique I have is for their cheese curds. The texture and cheese were on point, but it was lacking in flavor, specifically in the breading. Very good experience overall.

A friend and I came just to have a few drinks and the drinks were delicious. I was so super excited to discover that they had my all time very beer; New Glarus Raspberry Tart! The only other bar that I've been to that has this beer, is Sugar Maple. So that was really awesome! We tried a cocktail and then a blueberry cream cider, which were also really delicious. Lots of beers on tap! The food looked good but we didn't eat. I'd definitely return! Service was friendly! There is a parking lot but it fills up fast.

They really set it up nice for us, I believe there was 54 people in the class. Bartender was friendly and so was the waitress. If you're looking for an old style supper club this is the place. Restaurant is very dated,…read moreprobably hasn't changed much since it opened many years ago. We stopped in for the ayce fish fry on a Friday evening. Had reservations for 7 pm, arrived a bit early and were seated after about a 10 minute wait. Tables were freshly bussed, covered with paper placemats, silverware in a linen napkin with a set of various condiments at the center. Service was prompt and courteous but not especially friendly. Needless to say on a Friday night during Lent, the dining room was packed. We were served a bread basket like you used to see in the old supper club days, filled with rye bread, dinner rolls and various packaged bread sticks and crackers. The bread and rolls were fresh and not dried out like with so many other fish fry dinners. Orders came quickly and servings were large enough the we didn't need to reorder seconds. The dinner included a good size helping of fries, 4-5 pieces of cod, about a quarter cup of creamy style coleslaw, a cup of tartar sauce and a lemon wedge. The fries were limp, not oily but not crisp, the cod was battered and again not oily but it was a thin coating that didn't adhere to the fish very well. The cod was flaky and tasted ok. So a dinner came in at $21, a bit pricey for the quality but then it was an all you can eat deal. Sodas came in at $3.50 which seems to be the going price now days but these were on the small side. We were not offered refills until we had finished our meals. Overall Clifford's is ok for a Friday fish fry, but it's not the best in town. One suggestion for the management, use your staff to keep the floors clean. We observed 3-4 workers sitting around at the hostess stand that could have swept up messes left by tables with kids. Kids are naturally messy at a young age, but fries and crumbs littering the floors shouldn't be left for patrons to walk around.
