Usually this McDonald's is good at taking orders correctly, but this morning while ordering breakfast, my boyfriend ordered 4 meals, one of them being a bacon egg and cheese McGriddle with hashbrowns and orange juice. When we got to the second window, the worker thought we said "only cheese" instead of orange juice. The hell? Who gets a McGriddle with only cheese???! Anyways, she also left out two hash browns and orange juices. We let her know and she said "yeah that's cause she didn't add it." Okay..... This is close to home and so it is convenient. I speak slow and clear English as a first language and it always seems like I have to repeat myself when all I Oder is a number 2 with a diet coke. I will say that the sales staff is cheerful. The fries are it and miss if they are cooked well. Sometimes they aren't cooked all the way and soft and limp. What my BIGGEST pet-peeve when it comes to fast food? When I say LOUD & CLEAR "NO CHEESE!" and I get my meal, only to have it covered in plastic-looking, cheap, cafeteria tasting cheese! Horrible drive through service, I sat for a good amount of 10 minutes not being acknowledged as I pulled up to the order area. I sat another 5 minutes waiting for pay for my order. When I arrived to the window with my order being handed to me, I took the opportunity to suggest to the manager that the employee working at the drive through window should acknowledge the customer IF they are still taking orders from other guests. It looks like management may have been reading the reviews on Yelp, because service is much improved, at least for breakfast. They have a winning combination of two girls doing the morning shift, one always gets your order right and collects the money, while the second prepares the order and has it ready for you with a pleasant "Good morning" and a nice smile on her face. Terrible. I showed the lady a coupon for the breakfast sandwich and said I want a number 2 meal, she got me a 2 cheeseburger meal and 2 extra breakfast sandwich. And then she told me too late to cancel because they already charged the money. Excuse me? I explained, she told me, oh, that coupon is for sandwich only but you want a meal! So they refund me the cheese burger but charge me for the coffee and hash brown. I used the same coupon twice before and they told me the meal is okay. I don't eat fast food, but I do go to McDonalds to buy their iced tea for a buck. Can't beat the price! Anyways, I went this morning a little after midnight. There was a homeless man at the end of the drive thru driveway asking for handouts. I have no problems with that, when I can, I help them out. I placed my order, went down to the second window and preceded to pay. The gentleman asked me for some change, & I instead asked him if he just wanted some food, to which he said yes please. The lady at the window witnessed the exchange, & I asked her to add a Big Mac meal and apple pie so I can give to this gentleman. There was one car behind me in line, she gave me this crazy look, and told me that she would not take my order. I asked her why, she said there are cars behind you. I told her that I would just pay for the meal and leave, when it was ready just give it to the gentleman right outside the door. She still refused, and went to call her supervisor. I explained to the supervisor that I was getting a meal for the homeless man, to just take my order and give it to him when it's ready, I was going to leave after payment. She said no we will not do that, you'll have to go around and reorder. I was upset at that point, but I kept my cool. I just asked, how difficult is it to just place the order, I'll pay for it, I'll leave, and you just hand it to the gentleman when it's ready? She said, it is very difficult and it backs up our line ( remember, only one person behind me), you already ordered, we gave you your drink, now if you want more food you'll have to go all the way around. I continued, can I place the order now, pay for it, then go around to pick it up? A rude no was the answer. Usually under the circumstances, I would have just left, but I felt bad for the homeless guy. I already raised his hopes by telling him that I would buy him food, so I was not about to leave him hanging because of these women's reluctant incompetence. I went all the way around and reordered. The second time around I just gave the lady at the window the silent treatment. I gave the homeless man his food, and he couldn't have been more appreciative. He had tears in his eyes, grabbed my hand and said thank you at least 5 times, and slowly walked to the corner to eat a meal. Despite the discontent I had for the situation that I had just gone through, his demeanor and appreciation made it all worthwhile. However, because of what happened, I'll have to give these ladies at this McDonalds a big fat zero for lousy customer service. In retrospect, more time was probably lost with me trying to get them to take my order, than for me to go all the way around and reorder. however, it was the lack of respect for me and the principle of it all that kept me in front of the window trying to pursuade them. I would have more understanding for their point of view, had there been at least two or more cars behind me. But there was only one the entire time. I was just trying to do a good deed. A couple of times I went to their drive thru at 230am ( I work at 4am ) and the drive thru was so dark so from far away it looks like the locations is closed for business. So far this review is only for their service and their ice cream cones. The one near my place doesn't make good ice cream ( it melts by the time they hand me the ice cream). So I go all the way here to grab some ice creams when I crave for it. They stack it nicely (thank you) so I wouldn't feel like I am paying too much for too little ice cream. It doesn't melt that fast and it is one of best ones I had. I have been there between 5-10 times just for their ice cream cones so far because I like it that much there. If I am paying for it, I like to be satisfied with my order. Hopefully they keep up this for long time since I am big fan of their cone. And they are fast and short line in drive through. read more

She is hispanic and probably in her mid 40s. My order was pretty simple and she still was not able to get it right. There was a burger missing in one of the happy meals and 1 drink missing out of 4 that I had ordered. When I asked her for the missing items, she gave me a look like I was trying to cheat her for a burger and a drink. Like, seriously!? This place has a horrible customer service!
