Yeaaa you can't miss coming here. The staff here are super friendly and honestly one of the things I appreciated most is that they leave you alone! I didn't feel pressured to give up my seat, or buy more. I was heads down on a project and when I looked up hours later the barista was simply there smiling which made me want to get something else lol I also came for there open mic night and wow packed house! Great live music . What a gem

I was looking for a local coffee shop while in town and found my way to My Town's Cafe. Upon…read moreentering, I was immediately greeted by the cashier and other staff. The shop itself was nicely laid out with places for customers to relax and/or work while enjoying their beverage (and possibly dessert). There were ample tables and seating choices for customers to choose from depending on their needs. My Town's Cafe had a lot of beverages and pastries to offer. I was a little overwhelmed, but was just as happy to see variety. The drink menus that I immediately saw were mainly the specials and baristas' recommendations. I didn't see a regular menu without all of the fancy drinks until after I had paid as they were laminated and lying along the counter. I was a little bummed because there weren't any prices written for the speciality drink items and I really didn't NEED to have a fancy drink that cost almost $7. With that said, I tried one of their Spring Specials, the Biscoff Bliss Latte. It was a little sweet, but the hints of Biscoff, Nutella, and cookie butter were prominent. I also ordered a piece of bread pudding upon recommendation from the staff. It had the potential to be really good, but it definitely tasted as if it had been in their cooler for several days. I usually love visiting local coffee spots, but My Town's Cafe missed the mark for me. Perhaps I came in on an off day for them.

It isn't freshly whisked or made to order, they have it premixed and sitting in a container ready to pour. You can definitely taste the difference. It didn't taste fresh and, strangely enough, kind of tasted like Play-Doh. The place itself is really nice, and the staff was friendly, so there are definitely positives here. But at these prices, the quality of the drinks needs to match. With so many good coffee shops in town, they really need to step up the drink quality if they want to stay competitive.

Visit Date: May 3, 2026…read more All I want to do is go to the cafes listed in my LI cafe passport book for Christmas but my friends keep picking different coffee shops that are not in my book which is slightly annoying to me lol I made a plan to meet my friend Shani and she wanted to check this place out. I got a regular coffee with half and half because I also got the crepe and wanted to not have sugar on top of sugar if I drank a sweet drink and had a sweet dessert. I ended up choosing a crepe, they had no dessert with peanut butter in it which would have been my first choice. The crepe was okay. I ate half of it and my boyfriend ate the other half when I saw him after coffee. I found this place to be just okay, I gave it 4 stars because it was good but it didn't wow me and I think they made it too trendy looking and too hyped up. The service was also very good the man who helped me answered my questions patiently. So I liked this place but wasn't really wowed by it.

Today is my boyfriend's birthday, so we decided to have what we coined our "Breakfast Adventure"!…read moreWe ended up at Toast because we saw they had a dog-friendly patio. Unfortunately, due to the heavy rain the day before, the patio wasn't set up. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. They went out of their way to set up a table and chairs for us so we could enjoy breakfast and celebrate together with our dog. Our waitress, Jordan, was patient and friendly, which made the experience even better. Since it was our first visit, they treated us to a free stack, and the seasonal option was the Peach Cobbler Pancakes. We also ordered the Benedict Arnold, Biscuits and Gravy, Early Riser with two eggs our way, a Banana Nut Latte, and an Espresso Martini. Everything was fresh and tasty, and the Espresso Martini definitely packed a punch! At the end of our meal, they brought out a tiny Sprinkle Stack with a candle and sang Happy Birthday to my boyfriend. It was such a sweet surprise and honestly made the outing feel extra special. I'm definitely recommending this location. The food was delicious, but the kindness and customer service really stood out. They helped turn a rainy-day breakfast into a memorable birthday adventure!

Needless to say even though the footprint was basically the same the interior has been changed is very open and inviting. A friend and I were there for lunch around 1:30 on a Monday. No issue getting a table and were seated immediately. Katie our server was very nice, pleasant and efficient. Drink were brought out quickly and our order taken. My friend got an omelet special with Irish bangers and cheese with home fries and rye toast. She enjoyed the omelet and I have to say the rye bread was outstanding. Don't think it's made in house but were ever they get it from is really good. I got a lunch special of Pot Roast sandwich with onions, mushrooms and cheese on thick cut bread. It was served with a au jus dipping sauce. If it's on the menu don't hesitate to get it, it was outstanding and so stuffed I could only eat half. Will absolutely be returning to Toast !
