$1 Any Size drinks, great burgers when fresh, and the best French fries in fast food. The experience on the other hand... This location by River City Market Place has nifty new "job killers". They are two automated kiosks that are double sided so four orders can be taken at once without any labor involved because the customer does all the work. Great idea since lines and drive-thru wait times are long and only one cashier. I tried it after being invited in by the McDonalds App that offered a Free Rolo McFlurry with any purchase. Unfortunately, the Rolo was not a flavor offered on the kiosk so I lost my place in line and then had to get at the end of the line. Once at the register it wasn't on register but they yelled it back so as to get the correct flavor. It took 16 minutes to get my food not including waiting in line. Then, you have to hear this, the guy starts making his own McFlurry concoction. It had M & M, Oreo, choc chips, choc syrup, and a few other unknown items. He hands it to me and I said it's supposed to be Rolo. He says he has never made one and acted like he never heard of Rolo candy so I look it up on my phone. He hands it back to me and says "well they never showed me how to make it, so". I said OK??? He set it down and left. So it wasn't too bad. Lol. This place is awful and if I could leave a star lower than 1 I would. Snails for employees, horrible attitudes, everything is a game to the workers, I honestly think they sleep on the clock after 9:00, but then expect 15$ an hour and kiosk not to replace them. Sometimes I can't even get somebody on the microphone which even if I did it would be "10 minutes until I can take your order bro" like how the hell??? Anyways, I honestly just wish this mcdonalds would shut down but unfortunately being they've made it through years of this bullshit they probably won't:/ it's a disgrace to have such a horrible place in river city (which is growing rapidly just to have places like this bring it down) Anytime I get a double the bread is most likely stale, pickles feel soggy( idk how tf), ketchup everywhere, fries aren't salted(if they even give them to you after you order). I honestly believe they cook it all and microwave it per order lol if you guys clean your restaurant like you serve your guest, you prolly have roaches... But ending on a good note, there is a McDonald's off main that will gladly take care of you any hour of the day. The worst customer service I've ever experienced. As many others have stated, the service is incredibly slow. This evening I went to get dinner for my family and I was in line for about 15 minutes with four cars in front of me. While the girl was taking my order she would rudely cut me off and ask "is that it??" While I was ordering. She then got mad when I told her that she had missed one of the happy meals for my kids. When I got to the window to pay, she grabbed my card and took payment without looking at me or even speaking to me. Then I get up to the pickup window. The girl was initially friendly and handed me my drinks and my bag of food. I looked in the bag while I was waiting for my kids happy meals and noticed there was no sauce for our nuggets, so when she handed me the happy meals I said "there's no sauce in the bag" and she said "it's in the happy meal". I told her that I asked for extra and before I could even get that out she started closing the window and said "I said have a good night". It was insanely rude but I just wanted to get home because it was the perfect reminder of why I never go to this McDonald's. But then when I get home and open the happy meals, they didn't put my one daughters burger in hers and they didn't put my other daughters nuggets in hers. They just had apple slices and fries. Started off with only 1 Lane open & now I've been waiting an agonizingly long time. There are 3 windows here. Isn't the 3rd 1 for when there's a long wait? Used to be the old "can you pull up & we'll bring your order out to you". Apparently they don't get either concept: the 3rd window or the pull up. Very inefficient tonight though there were only a few cars ahead of me. The 1 remaining car ahead of me was slow ordering now was at the window long time. Yep, long time. After 40 years of being a McDonald's customer, yesterday was the last day I will EVER step foot into a McDonalds PERIOD. My decision comes after a horrible experience I had at your location at the River City Marketplace. Based on the reviews I see on Google, you have some serious issues at this restaurant and it doesn't seem like you or your employees care. I walked into the restaurant at 11:15 to order off of the all-day breakfast menu. One of your employees insisted that I try the kiosk order system, with her help...so I did. Ticket 856 on 11/19/17. Once I paid, the associate said that they are making my food now. A few minutes later, one of your employees came from the back of the restaurant crying and walked towards the bathroom. At this point, several of your employees followed that associate to deal with that drama. In doing so, the back of your restaurant shut down and delayed all food orders. After waiting for 15 minutes and still no food, I had enough and demanded a refund. After leaving your restaurant, I went across the street to Hardees and ordered some food. After 7 minutes, my order was cooked fresh. Several employees at Hardees made sure to communicate with me as I waited for my order. Can you see the difference? If Hardees ever decides to serve all-day breakfast, I am sure McDonalds, especially this restaurant, will feel the brunt of it. You should fire everyone who works at the River City location. They do not care about their customers, only the drama their own coworkers create. read more

Last night I pulled into McDonald's after a very long stressful day. It was around 10:30pm. My granddaughter's dance recital had finished at 10pm and my husband and I were wanting a quick bite before heading home. We pulled into the drive through and placed our order. 30 minutes later only one car had moved up. I knocked on the window that was not being used to get the attention of a employee not working. I was told "we only have 3 employees working and this is the time of a shift change. There are more people outside in the drive through than employees working." I asked if that was my fault and if I could just pull out, to which she said no. I did pull out! I've seen several bad reviews on here but HONESTLY, it's all about how you go about the service. I waited 20 minutes for my food due to the line being extremely long and people waiting for good! Though I had to wait, Ms. Vee came out and assured me that she would be back with my food, she even made sure it was fresh and hot(unlike other places with a long, busy line) so i am forverrr grateful for her compassion and superior customer service!
