Unfortunately I have to agree with previous reviews...if you're in a big hurry this place probably isn't for you. I came later morning, well after any breakfast rush, and the drive thru was painfully slow. Three cars in front of me, and yet when I got to the menu board, I was told I needed to wait a few minutes to order. While I sat there for close to 10 minutes, I watched several cars get in behind me before giving up and driving away. Meanwhile, only one car in front of me moved forward. Placed my order using the mobile app so the cashier only had to hand me the receipt. This split second seemed to be an inconvenience for her. I've been coming to this location since I moved to Murray Hill back in 2013 and the staff here consistently gives great customer service. I have a slight coffee addiction and when I don't want to pay $5-6 hipster prices in my neighborhood for my java, I come here. I like their coffee with two pumps of caramel and four creams. And at $2.34 for a large size [regular price], you really can't beat it. They use 100% Arabica beans. This particular location has been upgraded and the decor is clean and modern. They recently added four self-service screens/kiosks where you can order using your debit or credit card on a huge digital screen. You still retrieve your food under the pick-up area, but it's an added convenience when the drive-thru and regular lines are really long during peak hours. They also have a double drive-thru to keep the lines moving if you choose to stay in your car. When my window works, I usually do drive-thru. There is also outside seating and an ATM available inside. Overall, I've been pretty impressed with this McDonald's. I've visited when the general manager has been there several times and he is very friendly and professional. I don't really eat the food here much, but when my boy has a craving...this is the location where I make the run. 5-Stars read more

This is a great McD's for drive-thru breakfasts. I've never been inside and have not been here any other time of the day. I've used this particular place for many years and it's always consistent. The drive-thru is fast & efficient, and the food is hot & fresh. The parking lot is a major pain, due to the restaurant's placement on Cassat, and if you are traveling north on Cassat, the restaurant (located on the left/west side of the road) can be almost impossible to access (and dangerous) when traffic is heavy. I might have given this 4 stars, but it always looks trashy on the outside, and well, frankly, it's McDonald's. *sigh* read more

This is, without a doubt, THE SLOWEST McDonald's I've ever been to. Particularly if you go at night- you'll typically be in the drive through for ~15-20 minutes. If you get to the drive through and there's more than one car ahead of you, do yourself a favor and drive five minutes down the road to Wendy's. Attempted to gain assistance from someone else and she demanded they ignore me and focus on something else. I finally received my drink once she decided to do it. If I could give this place 1 star, I would. Let's just say the highlight of my visit was leaving. On Sunday, March 22, 2015 at about 10:00am, I pulled up to get a big breakfast and a last minute shamrock shake because my house was out of breakfast food. When I walked in, it was loud. All of the employees were shouting at one another. It was just plain unprofessional and just plain rude to each other let alone me. So, I walked up to the counter and ordered my small shamrock shake and a big breakfast with hot cakes. The woman said okay and put my order in. She must have been new because apparently putting in my order was a big deal. Then a scrawny man missing a couple teeth came over and explained how they didn't have eggs, well I think that's what he said because he was speaking Ebonics and I'm pretty positive he was the manager. Way to go Micky D's! Anyhow I said that's fine and still wanted the biscuit and all the other big breakfast items with my hot cakes. So the woman told me my total and I'm thinking 'wow I thought it'd be cheap but not that cheap'. And then I handed her my card because the McDonald's next to my house doesn't have card scanners in front of the register. The woman said to me "lady what do I look like, I don't swipe your card". That pissed me off. This woman needs to be fired. Right now. She was so rude with her tone and negative and nasty. She acted as if she didn't want to be there. Haven't been here in about 8 months, now I remember why I stopped coming. I got a "crispy buttermilk chicken sandwich meal"..the chicken tasted like meat substitute and like it was 3 days old. This has to be the WORST McDonald's in Jacksonville, FL!!! The last FOUR times I've gone through the drive thru, my order has been WRONG! Today was the last straw! I'm tired of being shorted on what I ordered or it being made wrong! First off, the speaker on the second lane (that I was in) was broken. So, instead of the manager putting a sign up on that lane, traffic was being diverted AFTER the customer got to the window. This started my nightmare. After being told the speaker was broken, I was told to place my order at the window. I FINALLY get to the window and begin to place my order. I always order no lettuce and NO onions on whatever I order. My grandchildren will NOT eat anything that those items have even touched! I place my order indicating how they are to be prepared. I then ask the cashier read it back to me, to ensure that it's right. I also ask him if my order will be out of place at the next window since I couldn't place it thru my place in line at the speaker. He assured me no. Well, guess what?? They didn't have my order at the pickup window! I again, told them my order. I get home to hungry, fussy grandchildren only to find, EVERY hamburger, cheeseburger, Big Mac and Quarter Pounder had BOTH lettuce and onions! The Big Mac was so freaking messy with lettuce coming out of the box, (lettuce I had specifically asked not to be put on it), the sauce all over the side of the buns and the cheese was half off of the hamburger patty. The top bunk was sideways on top of the burger. It looked disgusting. When my husband tried to pick it up, to wipe the brown, chopped lettuce off of the burger, it just fell apart. He just threw it back in the box, with sauce and brown, chopped lettuce all over his fingers. The meat patties on all of the hamburgers were so cold, the cheese didn't even melt! Plus, I ordered 3 parfaits. I only received two and one was only filled half way! It couldn't have been worse! Needless to say, my grandchildren wouldn't even touch it! My husband threw his Big Macs right in the garbage, right along with my grandkids. I then, had to place an order to Pizza Hut to feed 4 very hungry kids. I spent $28.00 at McDonald's to just throw it away! I will NEVER use that McDonald's again! I can see now, why this McDonald's has a one star rating! I've wasted so much money there over the last 4 or 5 times there, that I could go out for a steak dinner. Obviously, the owner of that McDonald's is not interested in quality control of his restaurant and is only out for a quick dollar! Part of this falls on the managers as well. I come to this McDonalds because it's the closest one to my house. But they suck at getting orders right. The only time they are guaranteed to get it right is when I order McNuggets. Only they usually send me the wrong sauce. The rest of the time I order spicy McChicken, mayo only, and I get lettuce no mayo. Or I ask for a chocolate milkshake and get a vanilla one, and one time, a McFlurry. I know you don't have to be a nuclear physicist to work at Mickey D's but c'mon y'all, how hard is it to read the order off a screen and make it? While placing my order, i asked if this location carried honey. They said yes. We asked if the 20 piece nuggets came as a combo. She said yes.She was very polite through the order menu.The young woman at the second window had horrible customer service. She never greeted us.She just handed us our drinks and bags and walked away.We weren't sure if we were waiting on more or not cuz she never gave us any words of dismissal. So i checked the bag and there was no honey and a fry missing. I asked her about honey and she had no idea what i was talking about.She tried correcting me and said "honey mustard?"i said no honey. She turned the corner and came back after two minutes and said no only honey mustard.I said ok i am missing a fry.She said yes you got a small fry and a large fry with your nuggets combo.I said well what about the crispy buttermilk chicken combo?She walked away.A man came to the window who i thought would be the manager. I've been eating at this McDonald's since 1995 and tonight was the first I was yelled at by the lady at the window where they give you your order. Granted, it was busy and obviously this young lady was venting from perhaps a previous incident. That doesn't excuse her incendiary attitude. It started when we pulled up to the window and she started asking us what our order was by telling us the order she thought it was - which was wrong. I smiled and gently shook my head no and repeated our order, which was a quarter pounder with cheese, two hamburgers and a large french fry (i know, complicated order, right?). She continued to repeat the wrong order, to which I continued to smile and gently repeat the correct order. Finally we gave her the receipt and she began yelling "THAT'S WHAT I SAID" which like everything else she said was wrong. She didn't tell us the correct order at all and when she gave us the order, it was wrong. Had to give her back two sandwiches which she then snatched and brought back with a very nasty attitude "Have a NICE night!" in such a way as to say "F YOU". Needless to say I don't know what kind of criminals this McDonald's is employing and why they are allowed to scream at customers unprovoked but after 19 years I will never go back to that nightmarish hellhole again. Highly NOT recommended. You never know what kind of sick they are spitting into your food with that kind of random screaming at innocent customers attitude. That whole restaurant needs to be shut down and start all over. Lesson for today: Don't scream at customers because you are too incompetent to get a quarter pounder with cheese, two hamburgers and a large fry right.
