Horrible customer service by the female manager working at 1:30 am on 7/30/25. This lady does not have a clue what is going on. My order was taken at the speaker but there was no code provided on the app due to problem with the app when ordering where it says "cannot order the Big Mac meal at this time of day." ) so I wait in the drive thru for approximately 20 minutes with three cars ahead of me. Once I get to the window she tells me she cannot do the meal deal for $8 because there is no code. But that is not my problem I have it on the screen for the deal. She said she needs the coupon??? Coupon....it is a code on the app. Usually due to the app malfunctioning they override it on the register. This manager does not honor the deal so now I have waited 20 minutes plus more dealing with trying to get my order. She basically said she doesn't know what she is doing. It is evident with the long wait time to get served in the drive thru. So I left without my order. I guess McDonalds is okay with losing money by not taking care of the customer. I am not sure when customer service has gone out the window but here it truly has happened. Customer service and professionalism is very important in any business. Even with getting fast food at McDonald's your customer base is no guarentee...we as customers have many choices and it does not mean we have to frequent your store. The information that you want to know how you are doing is plastered all through the drive thru but if you don't listen to your customers and fix the problems (and there are many) then why have the information on your building. I have had issues with food quality, customer service, cleanliness and how long it takes to get an order in the drive thru, etc., in the past at this location but no one has ever called me back to address any of the issues. Food quality was actually a health concern on two instances...however no call back when calling the office number that was plastered all along the drive thru. It is really sad that our own McDonald's in La Verne feels this is okay to treat their customers this way. Shame on you McDonalds. read more

What the hell is this shit? You immediately direct me to park "anywhere" for my food (which is a simple basic order) and then for the next 30 minutes send people with the wrong order no less than 6 times? I had to leave because I couldn't wait any longer and I had children with me. This is simply the worst location ever now because they cannot keep their service time under 10 minutes as they direct EVERYONE to park and wait for their food. There is no rhyme, reason, or system to it, so their runners just run from each car to each car asking what their order was and trying to figure it out. People park in normal parking spots, reserved parking spots, and curbside in front of the restaurant. This location used to be ran well. Online order . I arrived at the pick up time. And the order was not started yet. I watched as 17 customers walked in, placed their orders and received their food; and my order was still not started. After waiting 14 minutes I tried to get someone's attention. I was given the side eye by a woman who appeared to be of some authority. The first time someone acknowledged my presence, I had been waiting for 19 minutes. It was at that time they started working on it. While I was standing there, for 19 minutes. I saw some skinny guy in a safety vest who did not appear to really do anything but walk back and forth chatting with fellow employees. This location is the absolute worst. Every single time I go here, they ask you to pull around to a Parking spot. Today was the absolute worst. I came around 1 o'clock maybe a little earlier than that I ordered in the mobile app pulled up to the window. If I could give this McDonalds zero stars I would. Absolutely atrocious service. I live nearby so this is the closest McDonalds to me but God do I hate having to go here. So this location is getting worse and worse. I ordered a chocolate sundae and was told " we are out of chocolate". Then asked for a strawberry sundae and again was told "we are out of strawberry" . Already frustrating because this is not the 1st, 2nd or 3rd time this has been the case for the past few months. So they offered me a plain sundae so we accepted. Paid at the first window then drove up to the second window and looked at my receipt. I was charged full price for a plain sundae that I really didn't want. I asked to drive thru clerk why am I being charged full price for a sundae that due to you being out of toppings, I ended up having to take. The manager came to the window and again I asked, Why are you charging me full price for a sundae with nothing on it? Her reply was " that's the way the system is". " Either you take the sundae as it is or I'll just refund your money and we will keep the sundae!" I froze as I did not expect a manager to speak or act to a customer this way. How about " Sorry for the inconvenience, here is your money back and you can keep the sundae". I found myself waiting for way too long. When I walked in It looked like I walked into a homeless shelter. This person had set up shop along the whole back wall. Extension cord plugged in along with a few devices. The only thing that was missing was a tent. And right behind this encampment is the play center with kids actively playing.
