I frequent this McDonald's and never have an issue. Today there was a bite size piece missing from my McMuffin. I called and a manager named Tina assured me this happened often and there was piece missing because of the toaster. I then explained this is not a toaster mishap and that it is literally a bite mark. She continued to tell me it wasn't possible and said she would review their cameras. I explained from a health and safety perspective there was no way myself or my family could eat this and I was about to give her the order number when she hung up on me. I called again and she answered with no response. I then called again to catch her name and explain it was completely unacceptable for her to hang up the phone. I have loved McDonalds since before I worked there in the 70's... The staff working drive up windows are Always smiling amd very friendly... But can someone supervise the drink makers or the food preparers? I've lost count of the errors with my Mobile orders. It's in writing! It's not worth the hassle of walking in the restaurant to have it corrected. I'm on a schedule (retired schedule but schedule non the less) so I just accept the Coke instead of the Dr Pepper or the Hot coffee instead of the Iced black coffee, or the loaded chicken sandwich instead of my sandwich with my Picked Options. Look at the bag before you drive off!!!! this is probably the most inefficient mcdonalds of all time. If Ray Croc went to this Mcdonalds he would walk away in tears. I had to clarify because apparently your kitchen staff doesn't know the difference. Here's my story. About two weeks ago, I ordered the Spicy Canadian Bacon. I was in a hurry and realized they gave me the Spicy Sausage. I didn't have time to go back to so I lived with it and ate it. Today I returned and specifically told the ordering guy I got the wrong sandwich last time and that I wanted Spicy Canadian Bacon. He did his job and ordered the CB. (I saw it on the screen.) When I got to the front, I explained to the nice young lady I ordered the CB. I got my sandwich and headed on my way... only to find out THEY GAVE ME THE WRONG SANDWICH!!! AGAIN!!! So I headed back to get the CB... and told the guy that they did it again. He corrected it again... and I went to the front window and explained it to the nice young lady who took the wrong sandwich, and she corrected it... allegedly... NOPE!!! SAUSAGE AGAIN AGAIN!!! So I head back through... and went through the routine again. This time I was steaming mad. I told him I got the wrong sandwich again and that I was done. Don't want the sandwich or my money back. He told me to show the young lady the sandwich. She couldn't believe they botched it again. Then I told her I lost my appetite... no money back and I went on my not so merry way. This location just gets worse than worst. I came here this morning for coffee and there were some workers working on the outside grass and trees. I understand this is a job, but they should probably hire them when people are not trying to order in the drive-through it was super loud. You can genuinely tell the people working and didn't care for passing while we were ordering. I had to literally pull up to the window And try to talk to one of the ladies that was taking orders because I couldn't even talk over myself it was super loud and unprofessional. I spoke to one of the younger managers. I know she hasn't been there for long. I hope that whoever reads this that's an actual Manager from the store will probably do something about it. Literally bought 4 drinks only, had to wait for 10 mins at the waiting spot up front. When I got them, one it wasn't even what I ordered. Went inside which defeats the purpose of going through a drive-through, but whatever, was looked at by the older woman on register, she walked away until the runner came back inside and helped me. Okay, I get it. They are short staffed, but come on!!! We had to park to wait for our food, again. While I get that my order was custom (no cheese), it's still very annoying to drive around the building to find and join the campsite of cars and trucks waiting for their orders as well. Horrible customer service by the female manager working at 1:30 am on 7/30/25. This lady does not have a clue what is going on. My order was taken at the speaker but there was no code provided on the app due to problem with the app when ordering where it says "cannot order the Big Mac meal at this time of day." ) so I wait in the drive thru for approximately 20 minutes with three cars ahead of me. Once I get to the window she tells me she cannot do the meal deal for $8 because there is no code. But that is not my problem I have it on the screen for the deal. She said she needs the coupon??? Coupon....it is a code on the app. Usually due to the app malfunctioning they override it on the register. This manager does not honor the deal so now I have waited 20 minutes plus more dealing with trying to get my order. She basically said she doesn't know what she is doing. It is evident with the long wait time to get served in the drive thru. So I left without my order. I guess McDonalds is okay with losing money by not taking care of the customer. I am not sure when customer service has gone out the window but here it truly has happened. Customer service and professionalism is very important in any business. Even with getting fast food at McDonald's your customer base is no guarentee...we as customers have many choices and it does not mean we have to frequent your store. The information that you want to know how you are doing is plastered all through the drive thru but if you don't listen to your customers and fix the problems (and there are many) then why have the information on your building. I have had issues with food quality, customer service, cleanliness and how long it takes to get an order in the drive thru, etc., in the past at this location but no one has ever called me back to address any of the issues. Food quality was actually a health concern on two instances...however no call back when calling the office number that was plastered all along the drive thru. It is really sad that our own McDonald's in La Verne feels this is okay to treat their customers this way. Shame on you McDonalds. read more

This person clearly had no control of herself; could not remember order, she kept drifting, kept taking unexplained long pauses, kept laughing when she attempted to talk, she did manage to utter McDonald's was completely out of Sprite?? and more importantly- she kept me waiting with her nonsense. What restaurant tells customers to leave and come back because they have to stop taking orders at the counter and at the drive thru for 10 minutes. "Its too busy and we have the catch up." They should be glad they're busy - its what keeps them employed. Maybe it's time for a internal restructuring when they cannot keep up with "busy" In my opinion that is a bad business decision to close down taking orders.
