My girlfriend and I decided to Doordash the Habit after a long hiatus of not trying this burger joint! I decided to order the Char-Burger and Onion Rings! What's cool is that they have a Buy One Get One Free Combo for the Char-Burger, so if you buy one you get another one for free! Insane value for your buck! Regarding taste, Habit is up there for its patty and bun quality, as well as its addiction to mayo in its burgers, along with a classic American cheese and your choice of lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles. The lettuce and tomatoes tasted super fresh and had a nice feel, definitely certified fresh! The onion rings were super yummy, and they're better than homemade ones due to their crunchy texture and bite-sized pieces. You can tell the burger was made with a lot of effort and efficiency, which is something you don't find in big burger chains like McDonald's or Burger King. I will definitely come again in person the next time I see it! read more

I usually love the Habit but I'm noticing a difference in service in some locations. The new one in Covina has excellent service. I went to the one in LA Verne and was very disappointed. First the music was blaring! I could hardly hold a conversation. Then when I FINALLY received my burger it was on an obviously already used tray instead of a fresh one. Then when I asked for a fresh tray. The cashier threw away the used paper, wiped the tray with a very damp towel, then put a new paper on it while still damp, causing the paper to stick to the tray. Then she smiled and warned me the tray was wet. The Habit in Glendora is even better than this one. Smh. read more

We have been coming to The Habit since they opened. This one in particular under manager Manny is amazing. Today we had veggie burgers and they made them to perfection. I will say I miss the thin and sliced cucumbers from years ago. The onion rings were crispy. Lastly, their Pepsi is Wow! Please do whatever you're doing and not change that machine. If you're worried about the extra carbs, you can do without the croutons. The staff here is amicable, and I love the tea here. Ambiance is what you'd expect for a fast food spot. Came here during my lunch time to grab a quick bite. Ordered their Grilled Chicken Sandwich. It was awesome! the guacamole tasted great along with the tender piece of chicken. I was afraid the chicken would come out tough, but to my surprise, it was tender and tasty. I could taste the grilled flavor. Overall, I loved this sandwich. This is our second time at this location for us to use some Charticketa because of our last order. Well, let's just say it happened again. I don't understand. It said no salt on the fries on the ticket and the salt was literally falling off the fries as they were eaten. The burgers were good. Good flavor. Onion rings were good. Those did not disappoint. TERRIBLE!!! I ordered a curbside pick up, received a text that my order was ready and when I arrived I checked in. I waited at least 10 minutes for someone to come out with my order. I had seen people come in and out while I was waiting. Also very disappointed to check my order and see that no napkins or utensils were in my bag like I had ordered. The food is always good and fresh and usually is made very quickly. But, the orders are always wrong. Every time I order,there is something missing, changed or just forgotten. I order Online so I have a digital record. Last time I paid extra for ranch dressing. It wasn't included. Tonight, my salad order was not how it was ordered. I did not get the dressing I ordered. Super disappointed that every time I order there is a problem. I don't have issues at the San Dimas location but it is farther away. I was disappointed with the food here. I typically go to the habit for the sweet potato fries, but was excited to have a veggie burger this time. The fries were yum as usual, but the burger was pretty tasteless. I had to add my own condiments to give some flavor to a burger that was supposed to have sauce on it already. My fiancé got the seasonal jalapeño burger and it was really disappointing looking when we unwrapped it: something he'd never order again. And I agree, I'm not going back for another burger here. Maybe I'll stick to the chicken club since I've enjoyed that from here in the last. I expect better quality from the habit since we live in Santa Barbara, the birth place. I used to order my salads from here almost daily because it is convenient to do so from the app. A while back they changed the salads the offer and they have gone down hill since then. Today I ordered the Miso salad subbed with Ahi - that was an extra charge. That was a mistake. For over $13 (before tax) I would expect a better quality salad. Don't know what happened to this Habit. The male manager always looks upset, is short with responses, no intent to make the customer satisfied. Lately the person who handles the fries burns them and gives an upset look when informed the fries are burnt. Barely a 4... Typical Habit chain restaurant so I'll keep it brief. I visited this Habit two days in a row this week. The restaurant is located in an outdoor shopping mall with a large parking lot. The first time, I took my order to go. The second time, I visited with three coworkers and we dined in. Both times, parking was easy but the wait for the food was very lengthy even though the restaurant was not busy. The food and service were good. Prices were good (standard for the Habit). Waited 30 min for my order which ended up being wrong. -Ordered a double char meal on sourdough with cheese and received a single. -Also ordered a BBQ chicken salad and when asked about what the salad comes with the guy at the register had no idea what I was asking...... -Waited 30 min and received the salad in a smaller container and was told it was the same amount of food.......I find this hard to believe since the salad usually comes in a large bowl. Walked into the place and apparently they had no AC. I ordered only to find out when I went to grab a seat every table was dirty and the drink machine was in disgusting condition and smelt horrible. I asked for a refund as I was not staying in a place this poorly maintained. They said they don't do refund on credit cards. Brandon the manager said it's policy not to give refunds on credit cards. It's 2025 and everyone can give refunds, they just choose not to. So I reached out to corporate and lo and behold, Megan their representative only offered gift cards. I'm sorry, but you failed to provide a service and product and I want my money back. I'm still waiting for Megan and corporate to give me my refund. I guess their policy is to steal from their customers. Don't worry, I won't come back for a subpar burger. I encourage everyone to stay away. I usually pick up orders here for delivery and occasionally have the chance to sit down and enjoy a meal. I personally enjoy the chicken club; it's delicious. The store can be fairly hectic due to foot traffic but the food is made fresh and the staff is always working hard. Special shout-out to Kylie because this girl is on point every time I visit. Super friendly, and hardworking. She's usually on register, setting up trays of food to go out and cleaning up the dining area. She's easy to talk to and helps to create an inviting environment. Another shoutout to the manager Monica. She's also super friendly and is committed to helping her staff. Her customer service is amazing and she has such a great attitude.
