Been a homeowner in Lake Arrowhead for 11 years and this McDonald's location is the absolute worst. The wait time for your food is SO LONG, no matter what you order. Poor customer behind me was waiting nearly 25 minutes for just a SODA! They make you order on the screens and then are supposed to bring it to your table, but they don't. Then they don't read the order, so your dipping sauces are never included and you have to go back up and ask for them. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. They also will try and get rid of the old Happy Meal toys and pretend they don't have the toys advertised, even though customers after you get the new toys and you got old toys. And the food is pretty gross - everything is burned and my Quarter Pounder literally was a MESS (see pic). The manager named Hibba is SO RUDE - she could care less about customers and is just a miserable person. I still can't even believe she could have passed manager training. It's a beautiful location and they are the only fast food restaurant in Lake Arrowhead, so they really should get it together, it's SAD. read more

Un organized. They tell you to order on their tablet and to wait outside. Someone will bring it out. the lady that was passing out the food was rude. Then she starts taking orders on the cash register . the food sitting on the counter is now cold. I had to grab my own food. no one ever brought it out as they told me they would. so needless to say I have cold dinner and wasted $20 read more

T'was here that I ended my two year-long McDonald's ban. My posse had to wait a little bit before check-in and so we decided on some fries and hot drinks. This McDonald's has a beautiful view of the lake and the docks. The gloominess of the heavy rain provided us a great scenery to gaze upon as we ate. The entrance to the docks are right next to the McDonald's entrance. There is a large family of quack-quack's the stick around the area, waiting for people to feed them. I'm a local and I've written a few reviews about this McDonald's in particular. I don't know what it is but this particular McDonald's can never get my order right. They give me the wrong drink cold stale food such as French fries and chicken nuggets. Today's example my deluxe chicken sandwich is tuff and they charged me for three meals and after I ask the gentleman at the front desk if this is everything was there he got aggravated and told me yes he checked himself after I got home guess what no fries. Restaurant was mildly dirty, but not horrible. As for the restroom, it was bad. For being such a popular area & business, facilities & restaurant need to be up to standard. As for customer service I witnessed an employee roll her eyes at a respectful customer for asking to place an order with a cashier & not the kiosk. This McDonald's has the best. view. ever. Seriously, the outdoor patio seating overlooks Lake Arrowhead. If you are looking for a refreshing, classy outdoor ambiance, ignore the standard clientele and dine here. The food arrived reasonably quickly and was hot 'n fresh. We splurged on the breakfast menu and so many cravings were satisfied for under $10. I will not give McD 5 stars because none of them deserve that, however this is better than the rest. read more

This McDonald's is situated in the Lake Arrowhead Village Center. It is actually located in the lower portion of the village. We stopped by here because it was pouring rain and familiar to us. Anyhow, they have this Assistant Manager that greeted us. He looked rather creepy. He had this enormous bow tie on. He seems to be stuck in the 60's. He spoke in a very odd manner. Anyhow, I digress. The fries I had were really crappy considering it just came out of the fryer. The McRib was alright. At least they had a McRib. The drinks are self service so that's a plus. I believe it is one of the two McDonald's in the area. Just avoid the friends and that creepy Assistant Manager with the large bow tie. read more

Warning, avoid this McDonald's. Outdoor parking is already difficult especially during the weekend yet they have several empty parking spaces for pickup. They should reduce them. This is then only McDonald's that I know that don't give any refill. Management is terribly cheap. They claim its because of COVID which is a cop out since other McDonald's give refill during COVID. What happened to McDonald's consistent standards? At this store like most McDonald's stores, customers are just numbers. No personal touch because of poor training and management. They don't even ask if you need ketchup and they give you 3 pieces of napkins for 3 sandwiches. If you go to the counter to ask for more, get ready to wait. The employees try not to make eye contact to avoid assisting you. Terrible training, terrible management. There lots of places to eat along the lake and in the village. Try them out. They are much better and the cost is not much more. I like McDonald's and will continue to buy my meal and coffee from them but never from this store. read more

I ordered two kids chicken happy meals - the chicken nuggets were over cooked and the fries were old. I also ordered a large fries and a 6 piece chicken nuggets and food was disgusting. I had the replace my fries for fresh fries - Don't come here and spend your money - even if you are trying grab something quickly. There is better places to eat in the village. read more

Unlike most McDonald's joint, this one is different. First off they have gorgeous view of the lake from inside the store, as well as from patio with outdoor seats. Clean restrooms, well maintained and stocked with necessary supplies. They have order kiosks with huge screen to place your order. Overall we loved grabbing snacks from McDonald's while staying over at lake Arrowhead. read more

Went here on Saturday for family day visiting the village. We all ate here. Worst costumer service I have ever experienced at a McDonalds in my life. As soon as I got to the register I made it a point to ask the cashier how she was and she told me "I'm exhausted and I have a headache what can I get for you"? And then my total came to $23 and she said "that's a lot". I thought I was on candid camera with the way she was speaking to me. And then she ended up getting the order completely wrong. Family went to order lunch and about half of the items we got were wrong. We were missing 2 medium fries. We ordered 2 double-quarter pounders but we got 2 regular quarter pounders. I, specifically, ordered a spicy deluxe chicken sandwich but I got the regular one. The only thing they got right were the drinks. read more

I think it's same as other McDonalds but I am deducting one star for the toilets which did not had seat covers and I would expect someone to check toilets cleanliness and stock often as it was a big restaurant and it was really crowded at the point when I went there. Haven't had cold food or a wrong order here once. Tastes just like it should, just like every other McDonald's. Has always been hot and I've never had a problem ordering. They get busy, but the quality didn't suffer any of the times I've eaten here during the lunch rush. No clue why there are so many negative reviews. read more

What do the people that work here do? I have to input my order and also try to figure out the damn system while 9-10 people stand behind me freaking out because they have to do it next. I pay the ordering machine, then when the non-rotting food stuff comes out, I get to pack the crap with the napkins and such. From my experience this is the best McDonald's in the area. The one in Crestline totally sucks. I have been to this one many times and they get the order right and the burgers and things are made better too. Plus it has the best view of any McDonald's. The only problem is that it can get very busy here with long lines. read more

Came to this Mickey Dee's on our visit to Lake Arrowhead. Very clean, and very quick service.

Went there today and ordered a buttermilk chicken sandwich. The chicken patty was overcooked, dry, and hard. Sandwich tasted awful. Tomato was over ripe and smashed. Associate said he would not replace sandwich since two bites had been taken. How is a customer supposed to know that the sandwich tasted awful without taking a bite? Associate made no offer to resolve the situation other than selling us a replacement. We will not visit this McDonald's ever again. Infact, since McDonalds keeps reducing their menu to nothing but burgers, we probably wil not return to ANY McDonalds again. read more

Ok, it's NOT fine dining and I try to be patient especially in restaurants. But as burger joints go (my son thinks McDonald's is the best place on earth) it's fair at best. Great location but the food is iffy - we've had great and we've had bad so you definitely take your chance when dining here. I must say this store is far better than the one in Blue Jay which is easily the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. I do miss one particular store manage who worked here (former Marine I believe). Out here visiting and made a stop at the this McDonald's for some coffee and chicken nuggets. Service was really good very friendly and all smiling, but what really made me write this review was the deep cleaning that was going on while I was there. The store is immaculate and 2 of the employees were on the floor scrubbing walls and tables. As a person who has worked in the restaurant industry on & off my whole life I must say I am very impressed! Hats off to the employees working there today. read more

I have a weakness for McDonald's French fries and soft serve. But I have to say half the staff can't seem to understand what I am saying, the French fries are either over salted or not salted at all and you can see the staff preparing food without gloves on. This location needs help. I used the new ordering system to order my son a happy meal - which was fine, but it asked me to take a table number. Why though? No one brought me my food. I was still called by my ticket number on the receipt. I don't get it. Also, while waiting for the food I constantly heard the expediter harassing the cooks demanding food right away. As a customer I don't need or want to hear all that. I found it very unpleasant. Then when the food was ready I realized it was missing the apples we ordered as well as napkins. We were dining in, luckily, so I was able to request both. I will definitely check future to go orders. read more

The other location in lake arrowhead just closed permanently and will become a Starbucks. Downfall is the other McDonald's closed at 10pm and was the only drive-thru. So from 7pm-10pm that people used to get McDonald's is now going to be no McDonald's. And Lake arrowhead now has no drive-thru McDonald's. This location should've closed not the other one!! No more dinner at McDonald's and no more grabbing a quick dinner before heading home! read more

Smh never again ‍. I will never recommend anyone coming here. The cashiers were very rude and pushy to order. My food was cold,expensive and my bag had salsa everywhere because they neglected the fact a salsa packet had opened. When asking for condiments and napkins they were almost thrown at me just left in the counter.. very rude and disrespectful. I will not be returning to this location with my family again and I will be contacting corporate. We understand it's McDonald's and not asking for red carpet treatment but basic customer service would have been nice.
