This is without a doubt my favorite Mcdonalds to go to. I refuse to ride my Harley up here without passing by Mcdonalds. The sweet tea is ALWAYS good, I can't tell you how many times I go to mcdonalds and the sweet tea is either really old or it's not even sweet. I don't understand that, it's literally a 2 step job, put the bag in the thing, dump the sugar and turn on the hot water.. anyways, the fries and hash browns are always crispy and hot. The fries were super hard and super salty the first time. Then 5 mins later we asked for them to make them again and they were still hard :(

As a loyal customer of Macdonalds I am disappointed to say that I had a horrible experience. My fries were Burnt and salty the service was atrocious. But they have good WiFi. read more

I'm not a McDonalds fan at all, I would rather eat almost anything else available but as locations go this must be the best. Great location with patio seating overlooking the lake, clean with helpful staff. If your a Ronnie Mac's fan then this is the place for you. read more

Don't expect McDs discounts. ...although?...they did offer. 99 cent small egg nog shake on Jan 21...I should have asked what the expiration date was..It was like a melted taffy, super sweet and gooey. 2 stars for being on the lake. read more

I have been an Arrowhead resident for over 30 years. On Friday, Dec 9,2016, I was waiting for an AAA tow that was running very late. At 10:00 that night I went to McD. There was not a customer in the store. I ordered a Big Mac and they delivered within 1 minute which I thought was a little strange. Took it home. The meat was warm and very dry, smothered in lettuce. I ate half and through the rest away. Two hours later I began throwing up and had, spasms, cramps, hot and cold chills until past morning. I had not consumed any other food nor drink other than Arrowhead Water for the previous 12 hours. Were I one to sue in court they would be there. There is no view at night and if you go and customers are not there, leave. read more

I caved and ordered a latte. I should have stopped there, but I indulged my husband and decided to "be human" as he put it and order a sandwich. Two mistaken orders in a row (I'm veggie, and super cool about fast food employees being human too) & 25 minutes later, I throw the disgusting processed egg pancake in the trash, and walk out muttering "never again!" That will be the last $15 you ever get from me, Mickey Dees! Went there Saturday night service was soooo slow the cheese burgers were cold the large order of fries were half full and also cold would never go back to that one. read more

My family and I went to this location yesterday around 4.00pm and had the worst experience!! We ordered 3 hot chocolates, a coffee and 2 fries. The hot chocolates were 1/3rd empty, all three of them!! No whipping cream on it!! The fries were 1/2 the cardboard container it comes in!! We went to the counter to ask for hot sauce and a lady with an attitude 'threw' 2 packs at us!! This is our second time to have this bad experience at this perticular location. The previous one was over a year ago. Looks like they have the same crappy service!! Never again at this place.... And shame on those who treat the customers bad and shame on their management!! Absolutely one of the worst McDonalds I have ever been to!!! There were about two people in line in front of me and it took me TWENTY MINUTES to get my food. And then, once I got back to my condo, I realized that they gave me a completely wrong order, and the cashier gave me $3 change short!! My family and I have been going to the Arrowhead Md's for years. But today is the last day as long as the manager "Chris" is working there. Today I asked for help to fill my drink that had a lot of foam in it and I mean a lot of foam and no liquid. I was told to wait for the foam to go down, after 8-10 mins, still foam. I spoke with the manager Chris and was told this is the only soda machine they have. I know better, if this is the case, when you order food and drink on line to pick up, they than have to take the open top cups to the front fountain to where everyone is standing over talking and spiting over as they are filling your drinks. SOUNDS LIKE A HEALTH DEPT ISSUE, if this is the case. No spit guard... Chris the so called manager just didn't want to help and to assist other customers too. I told him I will call Md's Corp Monday and address the problem with them. Chris the manager said he didn't like the way I was speaking to him and then asked me to leave and if I don't he will call the local police. I am not sure if he was trained this way or just a natural A-hole. A great people person, again he didn't want to assist any customers in a business like way and should be working at a county fair or circus. How many times have I sworn off McDonalds? Well, today is the day. This morning I went to the Lake Arrowhead McDonalds. I ordered an egg mcmuffin and a medium coffee. The bill was $6.49. It seemed high, so I compared it to the price on the menu. Sure enough, that was the price. I then noticed the "deal" with hash browns was 10 cents cheaper at $6.39. So I wonder, why didn't the cashier point this out? But the bigger question is, why is it more without the hash browns? Here I am trying to watch my waistline, and live healthier. And McDonalds is working against me? And as I walked out, I felt stupid. Yes stupid. McDonalds and a 16 year old cashier made me feel a fool for a. Not realizing I was paying more for less and b. Not demanding my dime and a hash brown - which I wasn't going to eat in the first place. You made a fool of me but now I will just never go back. I have been going to that McDonalds since 1982. I'm a local...Why is it that so many local Mountain eateries can't maintain County Grades of "A" for levels of health? On a visit in Mid December, Arrowhead McDonalds had a "B" grade with comments from the health inspector noting "major" health infractions. I've never seen a McDonalds have a "B" grade anywhere. I took my family elsewhere. read more
