Went through the Lincoln, RI McDonald's drive-thru on Saturday and ordered a couple burgers + a large ice water. Order taker confirmed it, no heads-up about any policy against ice water. At the window: the employee gave me a bag with food and a straw inside, but no cup or water. Asked again, and dude just said "you're all set" while looking hella spaced out. No explanation. Great. I'm fine paying a dollar for the cup (cheaper/more than a $2 Dasani bottle), but they didn't say anything about charges or restrictions. If they'd told me upfront "we don't do large water cups," I'd have grabbed a Hi-C or lemonade instead. No big deal. Ended up buying a drink at Job Lot so I didn't choke on the food. This has happened here before, so I decided to send an email to corporate, because I wanted clarification. Got a generic sorry/we'll tell the store reply. Still zero clarity on their actual rule. Not mad about water, but I'm annoyed like hell about the mixed signals and zero communication when I asked. I still don't goddamned know!!! I guess if you're not willing to pay a few bucks for a measly 16oz Dasani bottle, don't order water at the Lincoln, RI McDonald's. This is some McFuckery. read more

Went for the grinch meal and it was amazing!! I got the 10 piece chicken nuggets large fry and a Dr Pepper. The grinch pickle salt was delicious I put on my fries and nuggets. Service was fast and friendly and food was hot! read more

Honestly, what good is there at this location? Every. single. time. I or my father have gone to this location, SOMETHING is messed up. I understand the labor shortage and having unskilled workers, the kinds who think 12$/h is acceptable, are not going to get everything correct. Got the entirely wrong sandwich after (politely, mind you, I'm a shy person who wouldn't be anything but understanding and polite) 3 clarifications. 2 more times I've gone and gotten no sauce with my nuggets despite being clear with what I wanted. My father works in that neck of the woods on 2nd shift and there isn't really many options for late night meals, so this locations is his only option. They mess up his meal every time he goes. From missing ingredients, special requests being ignored, to generally rude and snappy employees. This place genuinely needs a better manager and more training. Consistently bad employees don't just flock to one location, there has to be a particularly lazy shift manager who couldn't give a dang about their customers to let their young employees mess up every interaction. read more

I love to go here and order a Happy Meal. They never ask me if I have kids or if it is for a kid. I don't like how they ask if I want a "boy toy" or a "girl toy" because toys should be gender neutral, its okay though. I honestly came into this establishment expecting good food and a good experience but what I received was not that. When asking for a grilled cheese which every other mcdonalds I have gone to has given me they laughed and gave me a regular cheese burger. Zero stars. Be careful if you choose to eat here. They handed my food to car ahead of me. He ate out of the fries and they took the food back and tried to serve it to me. The man was honking yelling them over and over that he already touched food. I could see it was same wrinkled bag and asked her and she said oh she didn't know that was a problem then walked out of view from window and told me she switched the fries. They had the whole meal in their car for about 3 minutes. Opening it all. The manager was right there, the one who told her to give me the food that was in someone else's car. Called asked for corporate information which they didn't have access to in the back office? Seems weird like The one place they would have it. If the manager was helping her team instead of screaming at her employees in front of customers. It would go a lot Smoother. I will be reporting this to the department of health in the morning. Worst service ever. Went there last night at 10pm and didn't know that the hours had changed as of covid-19. All of the lights were on and drive thru lights and menu were still on. Waited a long time at the drive thru and drove up to the window to see if maybe they just missed my car coming up. Workers gave EXTREME attitude at the fact I was even there. Especially during a time like this they should be grateful I'm trying to give them my business. I will take it elsewhere - never coming to Mcdonalds again. read more

Every once in a while we'll stop by for a quick meal for the fam... its usually when my kids harass me because the want whatever toy is being given at that time. Then they cry for 20 minutes because they didn't get the one they wanted. Most times when I do order from McDonalds, they either mess up our order or forget something and I don't realize it until we are home. Then there was that one time I got a moldy bun... so we dont visit often and I don't order anything usually. The only McDonalds that I dont mind are the ones on the Mass Pike rest stops. Everything is always fresh and they are usually kind there. They will always ask the kids what toy they want and they never mind switching it out. Kindness goes a long way with us! read more

Run of the mill McD's... until you ask them to make a custom order. I usually get the McGriddles with egg whites and bacon, NO CHEESE. For some reason, they do not comprehend NO CHEESE. Only once out of the last 4 times have they prepared it correctly. Once, I bought the McGriddle, opened it up, and noticed there was cheese, and asked for a new one. Instead, they just took it back, and took the cheese off. I could see on the sides of the sandwich the cheese still. That's a health code violation right there. I only come here when I really need to eat and there are no other options. This location also has a double drive thru, which is odd, because they're never too busy. Try the McD's up on Mendon Road if you have the time to take the drive. read more

The Bad: No exaggeration, the last 4-5x I've been to this branch, I drove away with the wrong order. I work up the road and pop in about 1x a month and I am ALWAYS given the wrong items in my bag (even after the employee from the second window verifies my meal verbally and completes a quick check in the bag). Every time I discover I was given half the meal I ordered, I think to myself, "well, I should have double checked the bag too"..... Except for the fact that I'm a paying customer and in reality....should not have to do that at all. I should be provided what I ordered and paid for. Not only was the wait at the drive thru about 10 minutes from order to first window, when I got to the pay window they had my sandwich wrong and we went through it again. Then when I got to the pick up window we went over the sandwich for the third time. I get my sandwich home and it's completely wrong. Thankfully the manager Ashley was very accommodating and I was given another sandwich but after another 20 minute drive back to the store. Will stick to ice cream cones and smoothies. The best establishment the Smithfield/ Lincoln area has seen in its day. Maybe even in all of the ocean state. Service: impeccable. Food: consistently to die for. Sprite: electric. Employees: warm hearted and kind. Atmosphere: comfortable, accommodating, and overall pleasant.
