I haven't been to McD's for years. There couple employees had a horrible time serving their friends who kept running into the kitchen. We all like a party, right? But guests were walking out. We waited quite some time to order and the young man working behind the counter seemed to try but they are out of the new chili dipping sauce for nuggets and the soda fountain is down and ....you name it. Add that animae designs are now on shirts and bags and cups and the 'M' is upside down. I asked why and was told that the animae company cannot use their logo but yet the employees have Japanese writing on their shirts. Both my burger and chicken nuggets were BURNT like a fish grilled for too long I'm NEVER coming here again. The employee was unbelievably rude AND didn't have there name tag on and wouldn't tell me there name, and didn't add my 8 big macks 3 times UNBELIEVABLE. read more

Ive had two recent transactions where the kid working the window in the drive through rolled his eyes at me when I haded the bag back to him telling him I didn't order that. Unsure how this location is still in business. A friend and I ordered small breakfast orders, and collectively ended up waiting half an hour. Employees were very unprofessional, and it sounded like a zoo in the back. During our 30 minute wait, we saw 3-4 people come in with blatantly incorrect orders. Went to the McDonald's on US131 in Mancelona Michigan on 6-23-18. 6:30pm. Bought a southwest crispy chicken salad, among other items. When I got home and opened the salad container, it looked like someone had already eaten 3/4 of it. There was a milky substance in the bottom that the food was sitting in. Completely disgusting. Tried to call 2 times to complain to the manager, but nobody answered the phone. Will never go back to McDonald's again. read more

It took 13 minutes to get my small order from the drivethru. One car with a small order was in front of me. They sent four cars to pull aside to wait for our food. I finally got out of my car to go ask for a refund when the employee was suddently at my door with food. The employee appeared dirty and out of uniform. He then gave me the wrong order TWICE. I went there Sunday the 26th for dinner and had a great experience! I ordered 60 chicken nuggets 3 large unsalted fries and a small salted fry.. the food came out hot and fresh even the salted fries were hot! They didn't forget a single sauce! The two women who served me Sarah and Stephanie were nice and professional upon communication! I was pulled forward but that is to be expected when you order like I did! I will be returning! WE'RE NOT LOVING IT. The food was hot, there was long wait time though inside the restaurant. While waiting, someone came in to discuss that 1/2 of there drive theI order was missing. They don't have hash browns? They don't offer the chicken chili sauce wrap either. I have been to this McDonalds many many times and I have never had a problem that wasn't fixed like that. I have never had a bad experience. I've also worked there for the past few weeks and it has been a great time. You get to see what go into making you that perfect order. I 100% recommend this Fast Food place. Swung through the drive thru to get some coffee since there are no other options for coffee in the area. Took more than 15 minutes from the time I ordered until the time I was back on the road. Would have given it one star except for the fact that the staff was apologetic and seemed to be short staffed. read more

Much better and faster service than the Bellaire MCDonalds. You could drive to Mancelona order and receive your food and drive back to Bellaire and still get your good quicker than Bellaire. read more

Moved to the area fairly recently. This is the only "fast food" restaurant in the area. Well I'll put it this way. I have been there a dozen or so times for the convenience of it. Out of those trips, I have yet to have a correct order while in the drive thru. Out of those times, I have yet to spend less than 10 minutes in the drive thru. Your typical wait is about 15 minutes actually. And even then, the food is cold and the order is inaccurate. Stop by there every time we head for the UP, this time Saturday October 14, 2017, we stoped and ordered a egg mcmuffin and a sausage mcmufgin and two hash browns. Now even though they were wrapped right we got two sausage mcmufgin sandwiches, no egg mcmuffin at all. But we were charged for it.
