    Fried Pita Wedges

We've been here a number of times over the years- before and after the remodel. After the remodel it's a great space with updated everything...but man do I miss the half moon leather booths. It was a vibe all by itself! It's always been a special place with great food. We absolutely smash the fried pita wedges every time. Great service- even with kids in the summer! Whether at lunchtime or midnight. Give it a shot, it's hard to have a bad time here.

    A delicious Grilled Chicken Salad!

The Town Club is a hidden gem. It has been around for over 70 years and the new management/owners really value customer service. This establishment is kid friendly (kids menu) and the food is fairly priced. My favorite food to order at The Town Club is the fried mushrooms, the grilled chicken salad, and you can never go wrong with one of their burgers. I definitely recommend to stop in! YOU WON'T be disappointed.

Service: 2 waitresses doing the entire place and they didnt miss a beat. Plus, they were very friendly and just the right amount of help. Ambience: Its not a big place, its like an expanded bar with regular lighting. Food/Value: Both good. A big Turkey Club (didnt leave hungry like I do at Panera) and fries $12. The bacon wasnt fat or greasy and it wasnt loaded with 3 layers of bread. Very good. They dont do fancy, just food done right.

    Greek Salad with Chicken

Came in today for lunch and had a very average (to below average) lunch. I was first surprised with the cheese sticks and how they came on paper plates and had premade marinara that was pretty gross. Luckily the cheese sticks tasted good and didn't need the sauce. We were also given plastic utensils which I'm not sure if it's standard, but didn't feel right for the price. The large Greek Salad was definitely was large, but the chicken just tasted like Tyson frozen chicken and was pretty gross- very odd texture and not a good flavor. To top it off, the window cleaner came in and cleaned over our dishes and then had me move from my seat so that way they could clean the windows. Wish they would have waited or at least asked us to switch tables. The server was friendly, but I wish she would have asked the window cleaner to not clean right over our dinner plates.

Great hamburgers and onion rings, as well as gyros. Friendly staff. Newly renovated. Modest prices. All-around good bar food.

It's such a great place to grab a bite, relax, and enjoy the atmosphere. The service was fast and exceptional. Our food came out quickly and everything was fresh, hot, and delicious. We started with the fried pickles, which were SO good! Although, I have to say, they may want to consider renaming them because they were actually more like a ham, cheese, and pickle egg roll--and honestly, I'm not mad about it because they were delicious! We also ordered the shrimp tacos, which were super flavorful and yummy, and the signature cheeseburger with everything on it, which was cooked absolutely perfectly. Everything hit the spot after being out on the lake. We got the onion rings which were perfectly crispy and sweet potato fries that maybe could've been a fried a little bit longer but still good! Definitely a great casual spot to stop by if you're spending the day on Torch Lake. The convenient location, fun marina atmosphere, quick service, and solid food make this a place I'd happily come back to!

They are fully committed to the woodsy, outdoor, rustic vibe while still feeling upscale. Our server was excellent and brought refills consistently and without being asked. We ordered fried mushrooms and spinach and artichoke dip for apps. The fried mushrooms and ranch were AMAZING and also pretty massive. The dip was verryyy cheese forward and was a little goopey, not my fav. The flavor was good, but I wanted it to be creamier and more balanced. It was the only thing we got that wasn't a hit, but not enough to change this from 5-stars! I ordered the Prime Rib with veg and a baked potato. IT WAS AMAZING. My family ordered two pizzas to split; bbq chicken and margarita. The pizzas were delicious and had a perfect crust. Yes, as a…read morehometown local I'm a little biased for sure but there is something very genuine and honest about the Pub and the people there. No pretension, no putting on airs or trying to impress anyone, everyone coming as they are. You'll rub elbows with local blue collar and service industry people, trust fund kids, wealthy summer residents, everyday folks of all kinds etc. I think a lot of reviews here are from visitors expecting The Pub to be like the Perry Hotel or one of the more tourist oriented places that bends over backwards and caters to summer vacationers. One even mentioned threatening to "Go ski somewhere else" for not being coddled I guess, which I found hilarious. They also seem to mention food a lot. For what it's worth the food is pretty darn good here, though my experience is usually over some appetizers later at night shared with friends over a few drinks. Solid burgers, can't go wrong with the fish & chips and their cheese curds are surprisingly good, easily rivaling anything you'd find in Wisconsin. That said I've always seen this place as a bar first and a place to drink with friends that just happens to have good late night food too. The service is good and the people working are top-notch and good at their job, but sometimes the Pub can get a bit too busy as there's just not a lot of competition that truly rivals it downtown. That's what happens when barely anything is open late in the post-covid world and businesses seem to be closing left and right. If you can keep your ego in check you'll find a pretty rare and valuable thing here which is a local pub welcoming to anybody and truly reflecting the full breadth of the local community.
