Well, they probably should do something with their website because it says they open at 5:30 AM but they don't and when I went inside, the door was unlocked and I went to the kiosk because no one came to the counter. And was told we're not open we're not open now ma'am. In a very rude voice, I said that's not what your website said and she aggressively said we're not open. Didn't bother to say when they opened. Rude!!

Fast food restaurants have become increasingly one of the worst businesses that you can shop. They don't want any more interaction with staff. In fact, when you walk in you're supposed to put all your information order name into a kiosk. Prices don't go down but interaction goes way down. Instead of going to the kiosk, I want to the counter. An individual wearing a black manager shirt named Christine was about as pleasant as a rock. I will never go to another McDonald's again. All I wanted was a quick breakfast to hit the road and it was irritating, rude and more of an inconvenience.

This McDonald's is one place that Covid-19 has ruined. It's now strictly drive-through, pick-up, or take out. There is no indoor seating....none! It's one that is built for hurricane protection so it is constructed atop a high earthen mound. Seems good, but if you're handicapped like me, you've got some climbing and maneuvering to do to get in and out of the place. I won't comment on the food. It's McDonald's and most know what it is like and very much the same in the USA all over. But for now, unless you love eating while standing up or in your car, not recommended.

Officially the worst McDonald's I have been to. Where is management?.... I counted 4 employees standing around while I sat in the drive thru waiting for my food.... which took too long. My chocolate shake was given to me vanilla with "chocolate streaks," then I was told it was chocolate. But then the drive thru window shut in my face. Eventually when the employee came back with our food, I told them it wasn't chocolate.... they then told me they were all out of chocolate syrup. Where is the communication? I would have ordered vanilla, if I wanted vanilla.... Also our fries were cold, soggy, and had no salt on them... (maybe they were out of salt?) Oh and our McDoubles did not come with pickles... 1 Star for giving my money back for the shake

The person who took my order was nice . I get the the window to pay and the kid doesn't say hello or anything just shoved the card reader out of the window . I asked if it went through after I removed my card and no response. He gives me my receipt. I then check my food and as seen in the pictures is a mess . I understand people have rough days I've worked fast food before but to make me remake my own damn sandwich?

This is a dependable stop for a quick early morning breakfast sandwich on the drive out of the Keys. We have a long drive ahead so it's nice to use the app and just drive thru, pick up and go.

Absolutely horrifying place. As many have commented here before, the place is nowhere near McDonald's standards. The parts of the kitchen that can be seen from the public areas are absolutely filthy. There were more employees than customers, and yet our food took close to 30 minutes to come out. When we asked about our two missing iced lattes, the only employee at the front told us, while looking at the clouds doing nothing, to ask the other employee who was inside at the back of the kitchen. In the end, our two iced lattes took exactly 45 minutes to be prepared. They were out of coke (!?). They were out of smoothies, frappes and ice cream. Several people came into the restaurant and left after seeing the chaos. I complained to the manager, who replied that he didn't know what was going on because he had just gotten there. Everyone working there was very young and clearly inexperienced, which is completely fine, but they need extensive training and some form of leadership to do their job properly. Management has absolutely failed the employees at this place. McDonald's needs to take away their franchise rights.

Never a good experience. 20-40 min wait times in drive they. Orders wrong regularly. Will never return. If 0 stars was an option it would get a 0. Corporate should inspect and review this place. read more

Pathetic. Who owns this store? They definitely should not be allowed to post the McDonald's arches. They should not be in business, period. My list of complaints are to long to list. TIP TO TOURISTS: DO NOT USE THE OUTSIDE LANE IN THE DRIVE THROUGH. We have been in KW over a month and we have NEVER received service from the outer drive through lane. We've tried 6 times. They never acknowledge you. We make bets. We've complained to "management" three times. They don't care. Too busy chatting with each other. Don't even bother telling them. You'll just annoy them if you try to point this out. Eventually you will have to pull up, park, and go inside. AND WAIT IN LINE. Meanwhile ... the inside drive through lane is backed up to the street. Food is usually cold or half way there. We will miss Key West ... but DEFINITELY NOT THIS MCDONALDS. read more

This could quite possibly be the worst McDonald's on earth. I've never seen anything like it. I don't think I've ever gone there and successfully gotten what I asked for. They never give you napkins or straws and they never even say anything they just throw you your food and that's it. It takes about 30 minutes minimum to get through the drive through. OMG. SLOW How can you run a store with six people in the order and prep side of the operation. One on the drive thru, one on the grill, one building meals. One kid just packed and calls out order, won't even get a drink for the order. Cashier runs her butt off. One cleaning the frier. 15 minutes to get a muffin and coffee. They ran out of coffee lids. How does that happen. The store is not that busy. Lucky I didn't have to drive. Buyer beware. read more

Worst McDonald's ever. Ordered a soda and got charged for a coffee. Then when I said there was no carbonation the young man at the counter just shrugged his shoulders. That was it. I am visiting the Keys and will not be taking the family to this place for lunch or dinner (as I had previously planned). I should have read the reviews prior to my visit. They were correct!!! DON'T GO TO THIS MCDONALD'S EVER. read more

This is literally the worst McDonald's I've ever been to in the entire country. Somehow they manage to be worse than the McDonald's in Tavernier, which I previously thought to be impossible. Save yourself the horrid experience and go in the grocery store, it will be faster. Or starve. Because even that is a better option than ever dealing with this disgrace. read more

Extremely slow service. The disorganization is unprecedented. Only one person taking orders with a line of nine people. And the young lady taking orders spent about 5min chatting with a friend who was having there order taken. The drive-through line is stacked up with cars. Several patrons are extremely frustrated because their order is taking so long to come out. A change of the "guard" is needed... read more

Never again! waited 1 hour and 25 minutes in drive up window cashier didn't know how to make change bill $5.37 I gave him $10.37 and tried to give me charge as if I gave him $10. If you're in a rush DO NOT go there. This McDonald's is by far the nastiest one I've ever been to. It's a very dirty McDonald's location and smells horrible inside. I waited in line for 10 minutes for a large hot coffee. All the girl had to do was pour the drink so I could be on my way but she took her sweet time. Avoid this place if you can. read more

If I could leave 0 Stars I would This place is a joke 3 managers in there everything was touch screen when we walked in.. we were also the only ones there Went to order chicken nuggets you can only order in 4 packs So we ordered 2 of them 2 McDoubles a large fries, iced tea and an McCafe Mocha Frappe. Pay for the stuff and go sit down Hear a YO! Your food is ready but yea pick something else the frappe machine isn't clean and the person isn't here. I don't want anything else that's what I ordered. Well yea so I guess yo'all want your money back for that then... Well yes I do 3 managers in there and they were too damn lazy to clean a machine why wasn't it cleaned the night before??? Burgers were like rubber dry and disgusting the buns were hard as hockey pucks.. chicken nuggets were rubbery and the fries were so salty (and I LOVE salt) that even I couldn't eat them. Manager couldn't even figure out how to fill the napkin dispenser Then in comes a lady with a kid who proceeds to pull up her dress and pee right there while the mother is ordering ... No clean up they all walked around it Needless to say we hightail out we are now done and so grossed out it isn't funny Finally got home we were traveling and the next morning I call the number on the receipt. Give them all the info..oh someone will get back to you It ends up being one of the 3 managers that were there that day.. oh well we can give you a free.meal next.time... UMMM HELLO I LIVE 350 MILES AWAY NO What a disgrace to the franchise read more

Ordered two mcribs, both had not a drop of barbecue sauce on them. I can deal with the typical mistake..like getting unsweet tea when i ordered sweet tea, which happens here frequently too. But damn was I pissed off when I saw there was no bbq sauce on the McRibs, wanted to go back and..you already know. read more

It takes so long to get food, and you can't escape once you place your order in the drive thru. You could quite literally slaughter your own cow, grind the meat and cook it yourself in less time than this drive thru. For your own sanity, do not go to this place. read more

1 star because you can't leave zero. I mean, you don't really expect much from McDonald's, but this was the absolute worst fast food experience. After 40 minutes of waiting (I know, shoulda left long before that) for our food to come out, we received a refund from the clearly overwhelmed manager. Not sure what's going on in there, but I hope they fix it. read more

This place has so many problems. Over charging, wrong food in bag, missing food in bag, not correcting mistakes or refunding over charged items, 30 min waits just to order (let alone get your order), attitude from management upon request to correct issues... They know they are one of two fast food joint in town and are just exploiting that fact... What A Joke, especially after the renovation . read more

I've been going to this location for so many years and you never really expect it to be great, but the past year it's gotten so much worse. Last time, I was overcharged in the drive-through and got the wrong order after waiting 20 minutes, and then had to go back inside a total of 3 more times because they kept messing up the order. It's gotten ridiculous enough that after they messed up my order again this time, I felt the need to write this review. I really hope someone in their management sees this and starts some improvement read more

Very disappointing. After stopping by on our road trip, we just wanted a quick food stop. We asked for extra lettuce and tomatoes and they never gave them to us, but still decided to charge us for it. We also specifically asked multiple times for no sugar in our iced coffee, and they put it anyway. the girl was pretty rude at the drive thru. She also pretended to scan our coupon and hoped that we didn't notice. will not go here again in the future read more

Worst McDonald's experience ever and that says A LOT. Ordered meals for a family of 5. Ordered my son a sausage McGriddle. Was charged for sausage egg and cheese. I got myself a 2 cheeseburger meal. I got 2 cheeseburgers, with no patty. Went in to get them fixed. McGriddle was fixed. But my cheeseburgers now became 2 double patty burgers. WITHOUT CHEESE. I just gave up and took what I had. The wait was extremely long. The service was poor, and the food was mediocre. I'll definitely will not go there again. read more

this is the worst mcdonalds ive ever been too. avoid at all costs, not even kidding!! it took 45 minutes to get our food, there was a huge line of people and everyone was unhappy. i had to yell at the lady to get a straw and people were hardly moving inside. if i could give them a lower rating i would; total waste of my time. read more

We had to wait 10 mins for anyone to take our order for us we were the only people in the dining area . Lots horse play in kitchen area , messed up on my order went up to see if they would fix it waited 10 mins and they forgot me when I went up to get my order . I wanted food fast and from I paid until I got the food IT took 27 mins. I also got wrong soda cups and the cookies was supposed to be finish in 2 min. for 15 min. The boy gave me two sundaes in stead but but he forgot my salad. Worst waiting time ever! read more

We then walked out to our car to see that there was a flat tire. Desperately needing an air compressor to fill up our tire in order to get to the nearest tire shop we asked the employee on staff if there was any help that can be given. Believe these reviews because they aren't lying. Worst customer service ever in Florida. We got there at 5:45pm and left at 6:30pm. Manager was rude and staff didn't know how to work a McDonald's. They didn't allow us to sit and wait for the food that they were taking forever for, so they made us stand and gave us attitude. We got our food and the fries were cold and way overcooked. Super crispy and burnt. We asked them to give us new fries but still ended up giving us cold fries. They also missed our drinks up. The customers behind us all left because the manager came out and everyone started to argue with him. They had a huge drive thru line too. They did not have anything, no ice cream, no other type of drinks, nothing. They gave us iced coffee and tasted like garbage. The employees were also not wearing the mask correctly while they were cooking and cleaning. When we asked for the managers name, he did not want to give us his name. Worst experience ever. SAVE YOUR MONEYYYY!! Do not go here. read more

Don't get me started on McDonald's, cheap food, cheap corporation, cheap service. This is basically every McDonald's everywhere you go. I'm visiting Marathon and decided to get a quick bite to eat, I walk in and the associate quickly says "They're working" I said "What?" (I was the only one at the location when I walked in) she pointed to the self service kiosk that takes orders and said "It's working". I looked and she was available along with 3 other associates, she didn't want to take my order. To make matters worse during the time I was placing the order, several people walked in and the same lady that said the machines are working took those people's order at the register. As far as the food goes it's the same cheap crap at every McDonald's. The store was filthy, I saw a milky liquid on the floor. You would think the lazy employees would at least clean the floors since they don't want to take orders. read more

So I posted a review of KFC because I love their new crispy chicken sandwich so I thought I should compare what McDonald's is offering.... They'd be better off if they brought back the McChicken! Even the dollar version was no worse! Nine bucks for a medium fries and soda and I'm might as well watered up my money and threw it out the window! Add to the fact they took away their steak breakfast sandwiches during the pandemic and there's not really any reason to go back here anymore. The only reason they probably don't go out of business is because of all the tourist that come through here. read more

This place is super dirty they do not clean the bathrooms and when I ordered a simple cheese burger I checked to see if it was cooked right and it looked as if something was still alive and 99% of it was blood and I witnessed a child almost get raped by an old man and the employee did not do anything spout it they did not even tell the man to leave the premises and when the kid trued to buy a cup for soda the said it was all his fault the old man who was drunk trued to rape the kid. I would not recommend this McDonald's read more
