Giving 1 star because they won't let me give negative stars. This is absolutely the worst McDonalds in the history of McDonalds. I try not to stop at fast-food joints, especially when the local food is amazing, but it was one of the few places on the way to our hotel that was easy to drive and eat. Not only was the food cold and stale, but the customer service was anything but. I would hope that the management here is aware of how disgustingly rude the employees are, but I have a feeling the manager was one of the rude animals that gave us our food. I don't normally write a lot of reviews...but after a long day of flying all the way out to the Keys, I expect at least a tiny, friendly reflection of what this place has to offer (if any at all). Horrible service. The drive thru lady got our order wrong. She never confirmed what we ordered and we went to pay for it at the next window and after seeing the receipt we noticed they got it wrong. We wanted to pay for what they missed and they had the audacity to tell us we would need to get in line again to order after already waiting 20-30 in line. Ridiculous! These people need to learn from other fast food joints. Zero customer service. Why would any business turn down revenue especially when we were very polite about it. I would give this McDonalds a zero! We stopped in Monday around 10:30 am - EVERY table was filthy, the floors sticky, the kitchen area visible from the counter was a disaster and the staff completely disorganized and could care less how many customers were waiting. The self order machines were so dirty, there is no way I would touch them. The bathroom was nasty. We ordered two sausage/cheese and eggs biscuits - received one and a egg white biscuit. Tried to order another sausage/cheese/egg biscuit and in walked the City Inspector. The "ONE" person who had been taking orders, left all of us standing to talk with the inspector who told her "you have three weeks to get this corrected or you're going under code"! Very bad service. Ordered 2 cheeseburgers and 10 nuggets, waited about 15 minutes, ordered carry out. We paid extra for lettuce and tomato but still didn't get it on the burgers. You're better off through the drive thru but then again, your order might be wrong. While we waited for our food, 2 people went in saying their order was wrong. I can't even begin to describe how irritated I am at this moment. It took an hour an entire hour I wish I were exaggerating to get through the to go lane. If I wanted food that took an hour to get I wouldn't have gone to a fast food restaurant I would've gone to a regular one where I could've gotten better quality food anyways. And then I get all the way through the line just to get the happy meal that doesn't have a toy which was the whole reason I came there anyways was to get my son a happy meal with a toy. If there was a lower choice than 1 star, I would choose it. My expectations for McDonalds is not that high or unreasonable. However this store is probably the worst McD's I have ever gone to. I live in Marathon for about 5-6 weeks each year, it would be nice to stop in for a quick burger or coffee. I have been there 3 times in the last week, I left without ordering the past 2 times, as I just sat in the drive up lane for 5-10 minutes in front of the speaker and asked to hold on. But they never took my order. If I go inside, its not much different. Even when not that busy, they are so slow. The employees seem SO unhappy! Are they treated poorly by Management and maybe lost all of their motivation to work??? McDonalds Corporate should do something. I pulled into the drive through and ordered a large Diet Coke and a iced coffee with lots of cream. All I got was an ok after the Diet Coke,no total, no please pull up to the window? Hello did you get that?! An irritated "pull up to the window". When I got the iced coffee it had about 99% half and half and 1% coffee, in their defense I did ask for a lot of cream, but this was CRAZY. Pretty long wait times for fast food. Forget about the table locator service for ordering thru the kiosk. One cashier on at all times. Organization seems to be lacking but employees are friendly and food is ok when you finally get it. Never any ice in the soda machine though! read more

Worst McDondal's I have ever been to. AVOID THIS PLACE. Waited over 40 minutes in line for two meals. After 40 minutes, (with three people ahead of me who never received their food either) I finally decided to just get my money back. Right before I did so, the same cashier who just finished handling a CASH transaction, decided to "help out" and served French fries and other items which all touched her bare hands. That's disgusting at any point in time, but especially during COVID. After all this you would think they could at least apologize. We have gave this place 3 chances and were done. First time we used the app , order pick up they forgot my sons happy meal. We got back and then realized tried to call no answer, we called multiple times. Emailed the company with little done. Try number 2 again messed up order, flat coke and cold food that was just slung together. Time number three , soda machine broken so i got a shake with my big mac meal, well the shake sadly tasted like it had to much vanilla powder and my fries were not cooked all the way and cold. The staff is always rude , never makes eye contact . We try to be gracious and use manners yet the staff here seems like the job is a burden and we patrons are the cause. Sat at the drive thru speaker for ten minutes after making my order.. The girl comes over the speaker can I take your order.. I was like wow so I replied ... You took my order already.. She got rude saying it wasn't her fault she just takes the orders... My reply to that was well how about getting those orders cooked and out the window. When I got up to the pay i asked her what was going on and she informed me that the management there don't know how to treat there employees ... This place is pitiful. I understand it's a McDonald's but if you don't like your job, it May be time for a new career path. But some of the staff you can tell won't be able to do anything else in their life except take orders or flip burgers. I normally try to see the best in people but every time I come to this place, it makes me understand why I quit working at McDonald's when I was 17. Staff cannot maintain eye contact or even feel a slight bit of sympathy when they mess up your order... when they were the one not listening to you at the register. Change the attitude and you may have new opportunities open up. If I was the owner I would honestly close down shop for a month and fire the employees that need to be gone. Twice in a row they failed to serve the items as ordered. Finding a seat consists of looking for the least dirty table. Best McDonalds in I have been too. Service was great and they served up meals for 12 hungry hungover men in under 20 minutes. There was not a single mix up in the orders and the food came out hot. Customer service was great and the employees were overall very helpful. Would have been 5 stars but there was no soap in the bathroom. The only reason I am giving a 1 is because there is nothing lower. I went in tonight to get just an ice cream cone there were two women one seem to be working the drive-through and one maybe was helping the drive-through I never got any sort of acknowledgment whatsoever when she took my order she didn't say anything to me and when she was done didn't say anything I said thank you and I am not sure if she replied under her breath or not.
