Food was pretty good, I guess but I probably would like it better if the service wasn't so terrible. My entire breakfast was cold by the time I got anyone to help us. I got the Waffle Pig, and when the food was delivered asked for a spare plate to put the waffle on (since they just place the waffle and eggs and sausage and bacon in a big pile on one single plate). The plate never came. It took asking 3 different people 4 separate times to get that extra plate. It seems like a problem with the definition of responsibilities? I think each time the person I asked just told someone else I needed a plate and no one ever actually got me a plate. We were visited by at least 5 different people during our meal - they had plenty of people working and it was not super busy yet, so it just seems like a break down of communication. They only accept cash, we needed to use their ATM to get cash - and the ATM fee was higher than if they just accepted cards and charged us the transaction fee on a credit card payment. This little place is easy to pass up. It's pretty small and the signage is hard to see. We found it online, though, and it's just the kind of place we like to go when on vacation. They do have outside seating, but we chose to sit inside on this particular morning. The service was great and breakfast options pretty much what you would expect. We discovered that our waitress was from Wichita but had moved to the area quite some time before. Such a small world since we are from Kansas City which is about 3.5 hours from Wichita. Dont be fooled by the front of the building. Parking on the side with a huge outdoor seating area. Stopped in for a late breakfast and were seated quickly. We had the Pig topper, country fried steak and the pig slopper. These meals are huge and plenty to split by 2 people. I read the other reviews about service being slow or bad. This is not the case. Food came out quick, service was great and Joseph came by frequently to check on us. It was our first time here but the couple we were with said they have always had great service here. You can get a good home cooked meal(only comparable to home cooked if you're good at cooking) from this place. And the even though you'll walk out full, the smell of smoked ribs will tease you to come back for lunch. They have fair prices, especially for the quality that you get. It's all cooked with love and it tastes like it! We luckily got to go for 2 days before they had to take a couple days off, and had planned on going for the remaining days they were open while we were their, but our Airbnb got messed up, so we were all super disappointed we wouldn't be able to come back on this trip.
